one of the nicest bike's triumph ever made, the lester rim's really set it off, and the black and gold paint are top notch. Im getting one like your's, classic triumph rumble. NOTHING ELSE IS A TRIUMPH!!!!!!!
Nice bike. It reminds me of the bike Richard Gere rode in the movie "An Officer & a Gentleman". I notice the gear change is on the left foot, the older models were opposite. Looks like a keeper mate!
Thanks for the kind comments. This bike was well loved before I got it. It starts up so nice with the newer amals, pretty much leak free and runs very well for an old brit bike. Actually it's pretty easy for me to kick it over compared to my Commando! Now that will break your knee or ankle! LOL!
Hi Guy, I was just out yesterday afternoon warming this 750 nighthawk up, took it out for a short ride, got into mud to turn it wround, and overbalanced it and laid it over in a ditch on right side, was soo ticked off that it did this to me. nighthawks are heavy and ponderous,
I own two of the same. The exhaust is not original either, but the 2/2 sounds better than the original 2/1 with its big restrictive baffle. Have fun. Nice nimble little ride.
I am planning to buy a Triumph motorcycle in India. i have seen all the three classic model in the Bonneville and Bonneville T100 and thruxton 900. In these three, i have sorted out Bonneville and Bonneville T 100, among these two which is the best. My driving style is slight aggressive and many short distance commuting within city and long distance.
this bike makes this Nighthawk 750 of mine look sick in comparison. Nighthawk is ok on fit but too much tank widening at the seat, legs are splayed out too much at tank, this even looks better than a Norton Commando.
come back brother,, who care;s what other's think, that is BY FAR THEEEE MOST BITCHENEST BIKE TO EVER COME OUT OF THE MERIDEN FACTORY. All other's are Imitator's. the color's, the seat, the idea of the oil in frame. those cool looking lester rim's. when you get down to it ???? you cant get much better than this "IT EXUDES TOTAL CLASS"!!!!!!!!!.
No properly set up Commando will break anyone's ankle or knee when it's kicked into life. This Norton is no more difficult to kick over than a triumph. I possess both bikes ('77 Commando MkIII and a '79 T140E) and none of them ever backfired during startp. It's all a question of maintenance and the necessary amount of force on the kick start lever :-) Maybe you should learn how to kick start a bike, then you wouldn't have to use the sidestand to start your Triumph. Watching this makes me sick.

Damn that sounds nice - looks good too!
What a lovely motorbike!
Nothing more I can say, I`m Green with envy.
Fair play to you pal.

Correct
very superb motorcycle 👌👌👍👍👍🏍️
I had a 79 Bonneville. Sold it and bought a Buick Lesaber. Kickstarting a motorcycle that big can break your leg or ankle.
Great video. I'm just starting to do mine up and your video has inspired me. Would love to see some more videos of it. Kind regards

That bike would be loud as S#$T with reverse cones

those Lester wheels totlallly set it off,
Nice, but it sounds like a scooter. You should remove the baffles to hear what they were suppose to sound like.

The 2 into 1 is crap and very restrictive. I like the larger diameter 2 into 2. Breathes and sounds real nice.
