I am a huge fan of Kaplan Cycles videos . They always take the extra trouble to display the bikes to their best advantage . I live about four miles from where this bike was born and many years ago had a ride in this exact model . My current ride , an 04 HD Roadster , is for a large part due to watching another Kaplan Cycles video . Love the way this guy says the word " Gorgeous "
I acquired one of these in 85. Old girl was badly neglected. I spent a couple of months giving her some love put large-diameter TT pipes on her she was loud and proud. I put about 30,000 miles on that gal. Wound up selling it bad mistake I know.
I'm watching this because I have just been given an old Triumph Motorbike for FREE ! I haven't seen it yet and nobody knows what model it is . I won't get to see it for another two days . The excitement is killing me ! 😁🤞
You did not mention that someone had cut the top off the grabrail around the back of the seat. Triumph did not chrome the engine case's or the footpegs. The back rest is a American aftermarket part. The bike look's great but it is not standard.
I’ve never had a Trump, but I did own a 1978 Yamaha sr 500 thumper. Kick only , mag wheels and the old crappy air forks on the front. It was a fun but loose bike

I gotta tell ya, I love everything you guys do but why just why do you use those Dunlop’s I’d rather have Shitcos , love you guys but fuck Dunlop! I was really trying to not to say anything but seriously the only thing those tires are good for is longevity!
Brings back memories. I bought one these new in 1979 and loved it. I lost it in a divorce over 25 yrs ago. A beauty. God Bless.
James Burton I just inherited one of you are interested

I hope they got the speedo working before it sold !
You don't often see these with their original two into one muffler.
Top end has a bit of rattle. Get that baffle out!! Nice example though.
The Chrome Plating ruins the original look of the polished alloy covers.
headlight seems to be out
