It's impressive to see/hear a stock 5.3 work , I built mine up and I can only imagine how much of a smile it would put on your face if it was in your hands (in the Morrvair) screaming !! I personally enjoyed the rzr recovery vids and I also understand the time it takes to edit all of this too so it's a compromise for sure .... You guy's are awesome never a dull moment ...
There's a different channel I follow about lawn mowing and they have a second channel called "The Boring Channel" where they throw up unedited unpolished videos of just cleaning up the yards. You could do that with razer recoveries. Film them, don't edit, see if anyone watches (post on a second channel).
I’ve watched so many of you guys videos … I feel like I know all of you personally… there’s a guy here where I live ..looks and has the same personality as Matt… it’s funny how no matter where you go ..there is somebody that reminds you of somebody you know…. Thanks for your videos guys…
That Morrvair is a beast. I know I'm not the only one cheering you on, hauling ass thru the soft sand getting that Dodge and trailer out. Love seeing your crew out there. Keep up the great working love the content!
We watch for the crew, any recovery will do! It's your big personalities that keep us coming back., the recoveries are just the backdrop. I wouldn't worry too much about making each video setting too unique or epic Matt, it's you guys who are the entertainment!
I think the problem is that not enough people watch those types of recoveries. MORR probably can't justify paying camera crew, editors etc for them. Editing and filming takes a long time. People always say how much MORR must make but don't consider how much it costs to do so. They're out there every day working hard and deserve what benefits come their way in my opinion. He treats people fairly from what I can see. As with all businesses, the charge often takes into consideration how much the customer can afford, whether they're disadvantaged some way etc etc. We've seen him quickly pivot and say it's on the house, or just charge cost when the customer is a vet or something. Good practice in my book. In my old B to B company I would actively try and help customers along in getting their businesses going, or just cutting them slack when I know they were out of pocket. Creates loyalty and is just a nice way to do business.
Hey Matt and Crew, greetings from Florida. I just found your channel a couple months ago and been watching all of your videos. I appreciate all the hard work that your team puts in to make these videos possible. I really enjoy every minute of what ever you guys decide to post, please don't change your ways because a few people don't want to watch certain videos. I don't do to much off roading and want to do it more often just can't right now. I have learned a great deal from watching your channel. Thanks again for everything, maybe one day I could come up and stop by and meet everyone, who knows. Take care everyone.
If we band together (in the hundreds of thousands) he will be able to justify the cost of the extra crew and editing. From what he said it sounds like it's something he's tried in the past, but it didn't work out so well. Maybe he could have another crack at it with the extra subs these days.
For me it's never been about WHAT you were recovering it's always just been watching your dedication to the job....your personality....your interactions and a job well done that takes me out of my life for 15 minutes.....I started watching right before Covid when you filmed on a cellphone in the dark and it was just as entertaining to me as now........it would be a shame to change the core of what makes this channel great just to get "the people" to watch more ......but I get it.....anyways....the razers are fun for me still is what I'm saying. Great video as always.
Exactly! Unless it's not worth the effort of filming it because it's views are low, or he mentioned that the videos are released late because there are many, I would like to see any recovery including the razors :)
Got to cover those costs to make it worthwhile for him to hire more editors camera crew etc. I think matt meant not enough people watch. Heck I'd watch matt eat a sandwich, he's got an uplifting attitude and ethic.
I saw the OJ Bronco go by. My Wife and i were living in Beuna Park Ca at the time and we could see the freeway from the top level of our town house. I guess I'm old. I was in a 4x4 club back then, can't even remember the name of the club now. Still have the cJ7 though.
The last time I saw a bronco moving like that was in 1994, Maybe do a razor versus Can-Am totally at the end of each week or month and whether it was a mechanical breakdown or customer damage
I had to watch the power pull several times, that was beautiful! And there was just something mind bending about Rudy wrapping his arm around the B pillar... MORRception! And that hot sand makes me want some Juice...
The analytics don't lie.. If we don't watch it, like it and share it - we don't get more of it! :) I'm probably that person who would watch the razor recoveries - but I'm glad there isn't 5 videos a week with side by sides being stuck.. That last pull must have set some kind of a speed record on that beach? Thanks for the great content guys!
I agree - one of the reasons why Matt has been more successful than others doing similar content is how he regulates things like razor recoveries and only posts the really interesting ones. The are other channels out there that have great content but also dozens of video after video of them showing up on site and winching heaps of twisted metal onto a trailer and driving away. There’s just no way that can steadily keep someone’s interest up.

Well, technically, the subject of the comment was "old farts". Not the white bronco in the video. So, while everyone does know what BassnTRUTH was talking about with the OJ comment because we are intelligent enough to make that connection, he was actually the one that was off topic. I was continuing the original subject of the first comment, which was "old farts", hence I mentioned my Grandpa.
I’m assuming they’ve decided that’s it’s not worth the labor hours of editing/filming the rzr recoveries though. So they may not even be filming most of those now.
And the award for knowing pop culture goes to Matt. Also, I've said it before, the Morrvair has a fantastic exhaust note. If it were a man his name would be Sam Elliot. Deep, confident and all business.

The very back and nowhere side x side recoveries are extra interesting.. love watching the banana haul the trailer through terrain a lot of people wouldn't/couldn't take a jeep through

Well, I’m thinking that horse trailer may have been the best flat recovery yet. The MOORVAIR sounded great and although it didn’t look easy, it looked great. What a powerhouse.
I hope to see it with a six liter one day, maybe with an 80e backing it up. I’m curious as to how long the 60e will take the abuse. Then again, I think the 80e 1st gear may be too long for the application.

What a great genuine group of folks and family!!!

Funny Matt mentioned the “famous person who had a white Bronco”. That was my exact first thought when I saw the title.
I thought I saw a personalized license plate that read "OJDIDIT" Lol.

Dang! You guys were haulin' with that 3500 and horse trailer! HOLE-EEEE-COW! That Morvair is sure impressive!
Man that sand was soft , the Morrvair is a killer machine and does a great job pulling those heavy loads !!
I would watch ANY video posted by MORR.
Jon Ive watched those also, check out, post 10

Haha, yes. As my opinion don't matter, it's nice to see someone else running 8" rims and whatever low PSI needed. No bead locks needed.
The morevair’s exhaust reminds me of the original general lee.. oh crap.. does that make me “seasoned”
13:30 mark. I love how Ed just still along for the ride lol. Old guy is ready for whatever comes along.
If I've said it once I've said it many times - the Morvair is a true BEAST!
I like how he teaches Lizzy and is not mean at all, great job, i used to never watch theses kinds of video. I do now
“More seasoned” - that’d be me. I do recall that infamous white Bronco on the California freeway followed by a dozen police cruisers.
Same here the Rodney King riots going on also! Crazy years
I saw the OJ Bronco go by. My Wife and i were living in Beuna Park Ca at the time and we could see the freeway from the top level of our town house. I guess I'm old. I was in a 4x4 club back then, can't even remember the name of the club now. Still have the cJ7 though.
In the words of Anakin Skywalker; “I don’t like sand, it’s coarse, rough, and irritating, and it gets everywhere.”
Looks like the Morrvair had the high ground.....
Matt made me laugh when he said that lol he was just like "in the words of anakin skywalker... sand".
But not like the Morvair. Everything is soft and smooth.
No I'm pretty sure he just said "SAND".
It's such a blast to see the Morrvair work. It has such amazing torque and of course, the magical rope, to yank heavier vehicles out of the sand!
The last time I saw a bronco moving like that was in 1994,
Maybe do a razor versus Can-Am totally at the end of each week or month and whether it was a mechanical breakdown or customer damage
"Separate the young uns from the more seasoned." What a nice way to call us old farts.
I have this sudden urge for a glass of OJ 🤣
My Grandpa would drink a glass of buttermilk with chunks of cornbread in it. He had it as a kid when they had almost no money way back in the mid 30s.....
@@cdub166 i still think you might miss the reference to the car chase across LA. A former 49er riding a white horse with a wall of flashers behind him. In the end found not guilty.
Well, technically, the subject of the comment was "old farts". Not the white bronco in the video. So, while everyone does know what BassnTRUTH was talking about with the OJ comment because we are intelligent enough to make that connection, he was actually the one that was off topic. I was continuing the original subject of the first comment, which was "old farts", hence I mentioned my Grandpa.
the only problem is that Matt is a very seasoned driver, but he is a long way from being an old fart

Should do a weekly rzr roundup where you just compile them all into “shorts” like bare minimum of the recovery. Lol!
I’m assuming they’ve decided that’s it’s not worth the labor hours of editing/filming the rzr recoveries though. So they may not even be filming most of those now.
I was almost thinking the same, maybe just a photo montage showing the damage, for just a few seconds - assuming they can take a quick photo.
And the award for knowing pop culture goes to Matt.
Also, I've said it before, the Morrvair has a fantastic exhaust note. If it were a man his name would be Sam Elliot. Deep, confident and all business.
If it were a man it would be named Good Ol Ed!!!

On June 17 1994 I watched my first police chase on TV. Thanks to "Orange Juice" now I am hooked on Matt's off road recovery. Great job you all!
I suspect the real secret to Matt's razor recovery is Matt with a big side helping of Ed, Rudy, Lizzy, and Trevor. So not many competitors can bring that combination to the job.
Matt I really enjoy watching the progress of the banana being rebuilt I grew up with the classic square body Jeep Cherokees and they're great little off road machines
