why does my holy protection not shield my teamates in dungeons? Or is it because Im just doing a matchmade dungeon and their not technically in my party?
@@jordanthompson5484 I found something. When u re lvl 50 in main story if you approach endgame u will have heavenly blessing and the other skill that you dont have now.
If the Paladin had one more direct heal spell it would definitely be OP. Best class in my opinion. I love supporting my group. Very fulfilling and fun to play. Also, he looks the coolest. Ha, I think he already is OP.
I’m about 10 hours in with PLD and early dungeons are fun and I haven’t had any issues with killing things. Takes a few seconds longer and need to dodge more but I’m enjoying it. What level does the yellow healing special unlock?
You get Holy Protection at 28 and Vow of Light I think is level 10 of that skill, or around 40ish skill points. (I think that's what skill you meant) Also, I'm level 42 and it only gets better IMO. I haven't died once. You do need to dodge, but you can tank a good bit as well. You'll also be important for dungeons, so you won't have trouble finding a group. I'm loving this class.
Nice video, but i still don't know what abilitys i should use for PVE and i have only 173 Skill Points i can't max out everything, would be nice if u make a guide for PVE early game and what skills we should use for leveling and how much skill points we need, this would be very helpful ^^
@@klarnorbert He told us about 12 Skills but u can only use 8, and he didn't tell how much Skillpoints we should use in what skill. He used 428 Skillpoints what is not possible to reach. So it would be nice if he did a video about what skills to use for leveling, pvp and pve with the required amount of Skillpoints ^^
As I see its not only me missing half my skills. It is strange that I have to walk in the direction I want to aim ky skills at. Any tips for that? To clarify. my skills activate where my char is looking and not where my mouse is directing.
Sorry. Unfortunately just a part of how the game is set up and you’ll have to get used to. Because your character doesn’t pivot or look in directions your cursor is moving. Point click style. I miss my thrust attack all the Time so far lol
there's an option in settings under gameplay -> control and display -> scroll down and find skill on cursor, surprisingly it is checked by default, but unchecking it will make your skills aim at where your cursor is at. or you can watch: th-cam.com/video/o4mNSszIZSE/w-d-xo.html for a video on this
i chose the paladin before i will start playing it on friday, i have just 1 doubt, i have read on forums that i should max crit and specialization as my stats, but now i see you maxed specialization and swiftness, so i am confused, can anyone explain it to me pls?? thank you

Make a verdict at the endgame, not early game. You can't really say that paladin deals a ton of damage if you haven't even played it amgonst other classes being in the endgame.
I find most blue skills to be a waste of space on my pala. I'm a support class so why would I use skills that doesn't support? 1 blue skill and the rest yellow skills is what I'm going for. 2 or 3 blue skills when the party needs to break shields fast. Think of yourself as an armor-clad caster. Not a melee fighter. Other classes do that better.
And what if other classes do it better? There's always gonna be "better" classes than other one since meta changes. Also they don't have holy knight theme at all. Or what if players just like the blue skills? No one judges u for playing supportive playstyle so don't judge other paladins who like more offensive playstyle.

It is p2w in the same way that Neverwinter online is p2w. You can buy stuff to upgrade stuff, get bonuses, whatever and thus get further ahead than someone who doesn't pay. Does it matter? Probably. If you can buy all these stuff then just imagine how tedious the grind to get the best gear without buying anything will be lol
Not p2w. As fair and decent a pay model that you can expect without a forced game cost and subscription. If this is too p2w model then Final Fantasy online is probably the game to look at
Lol playing as a Paladin is absolutely a joke from the start, there is nothing challenging to it whatsoever - you get a variety of powerful AoE attacks. VERY easy early on.
This guide is legit horrible. Way too large of an emphasis on damage when thats not your job, if you watch anyone who has a large experience with this game they will tell you that with equal gear paladins will always be behind in dps. Dash slash and sword of justice are garbage, how these are under the best skills section is insane. You are not a dps, dont let this guy fool you into wasting time making the abomination that is dps paladin.When leveling you can legit use anything same with chaos dungeons. Any actual group content you run support abilities and the damage you provde to group is ~10%. You bring buffs/debuffs , shields/healing, stagger/weakpoint/counter. If youre looking for a dps role the paladin isnt it.

@Pure-Power No, you do both. Despite there being classes that are more tanky and more support oriented, there is no holy trinity in this game. Every class is techically a dps, its just some offset their lower dps for a variety of team oriented support skills such as shields, heals, buffs, or taunts to support the team's dps or survivability instead. You are still going to be smacking enemies upside the head no matter what.
Played about an hour so far, and the game feels like a cheap iOS game with nice particle effects. It seems like that's where 90% of the budget for the game went, because nothing else is interesting or fun.
@@Fextralife I've played PoE and D3 extensively, it's the actual combat that wasn't satisfying for me. You feel as strong at level 1 as you do at level 50, because none of the content is hard and you just one shot everything you meet. Bosses and stuff not included obviously.
You could look up some endgame content (we've been streaming some dungeons) to see if you like it. Cas died for over an hour at a boss during the second endgame dungeon out of dozens.
I think its wrong that pala has a "tricky start". U lag no damage at all as Pala, its even stronger than some other dd classes in the lvling process. And i think its not a difficult class since as support pala you mainly use screen wide auras which buff teammates. Thats braindead, barde for example has to cast a somewhat small circle where the mates have to walk in to get buffed. Those 2 info are crucial for new players who want to Pick up their first class. I am not sure why you tell the direct opposite in your Guide - sad missleading info

Yes i just read about that. You want to max crit if you going for DPS Paladin build and Swiftness if you are going for Support Paladin.

You shouldn’t consider every class in how you used to play in wow.
I hate that games make paladins tanks. Finally a game that doesn't force you to play a tank just because you're a paladin.

The questing portion isn't what keeps people at these games. It's the endgame and combat mechanics.
@@Fextralife I'll have to watch some endgame videos, but the skill animations made the combat feel clunky and not at all intuitive.
I think the controls are really strange (like not moving with wasd) - but once you get used to them the raid mechanics are actually a lot of fun.
@@Fextralife I've played PoE and D3 extensively, it's the actual combat that wasn't satisfying for me. You feel as strong at level 1 as you do at level 50, because none of the content is hard and you just one shot everything you meet. Bosses and stuff not included obviously.
You could look up some endgame content (we've been streaming some dungeons) to see if you like it. Cas died for over an hour at a boss during the second endgame dungeon out of dozens.

I think its wrong that pala has a "tricky start". U lag no damage at all as Pala, its even stronger than some other dd classes in the lvling process.
And i think its not a difficult class since as support pala you mainly use screen wide auras which buff teammates. Thats braindead, barde for example has to cast a somewhat small circle where the mates have to walk in to get buffed.
Those 2 info are crucial for new players who want to Pick up their first class. I am not sure why you tell the direct opposite in your Guide - sad missleading info
