@Justice On the other hand, since the game offers a ton of account wide benefits for raising numerous alts (like current Maplestory does, funnily enough), rushing multiple characters to max and then sitting back to leisurely go through round 4 or 5 with less worry about bottlenecks is also an option.

I mean I’ve noticed that most of the side quests are on the way to the main quests so it’s not like you’re wasting hours doing them. But yea if you wanna speed through as fast as possible then yeah I get it
It has plenty of content if you want to take your time and do all side missions, extra and hidden dungeons. People just want to start right away with end game dailies.
I guess the servers will be at max capacity for a few days, I'll take it easy, I like to go at my speed, at any time wherever I am, so the TIP of playing solo was the one that convinced me to try this game.

I just want to point out that doing this is definitely the fastest way to level to 50, but you SHOULD NOT do it unless you really want to burn out fast. The trip from 1 to 50 is amazing, the main questlines are great (side quests, not so much). The hidden lore stuff, hidden dungeons to get shiny stuff, and clearing both normal and hard for completionist achievements. I seriously suggest you just enjoy the game and fiddle with your own stuff, and follow this guide to level up alts when you have already had the first time experience. In any case, very nice resource to have. Should also point out certain classes are faster at leveling up than other so if you want to go full tryhard you can always grab the ones that progress faster. Sorceress is a good one to go with solo.

I have only one question about Lost Ark: Is it one of those games where you can solo everything.....right up until end-game, where they pull a bait and switch and suddenly everything is ONLY groups?
So far I've put about 4-5 hours in the game. Did one of the main "dungeons" on hard by myself. I would like to say you can solo most things. Might have to use a couple health potions but yeah

Using consumables instead of saving them is a bad idea, later on you can only use combat items, and all the combat items can make a huge difference in raids
If you've already played through an MMO story you've basically played them all. There is a lot of side content to be enjoyed in Lost Ark but the low level story and sidequests aren't it for me at least. I'd rather level quickly to unlock all my skills and have more fun playing my class.
