I don't know what it is about these videos, but when i'm sad or in a bad mood and i watch a couple of these, i instantly feel more calm, less stressful, and a tad bit happier.
Dogs are just adorable. The whole grooming process must be a deep, deep mystery to them - dogs seem happiest when they're rolling in something stinky and they're almost universally terrified of 'baths.' But most dogs enjoy a good toweling off (it must be like, a brief full body massage to them), and they like praise and doggie treats, so a grooming ain't all bad. But somewhere, deep down inside, at some point they must just be like, 'Why is this nice human doing all this stuff to me? I like the petting and snacks and the blowdryer was relaxing, I guess, but... OH MY GAWD what are you doing to my paws! Noooooo!' ...and yet they nicely suffer though all of it, for the most part. Unless they're Huskies, of course. Then they howl bloody murder....
My brother had a crazy dog; loved nothing more than rubbing his head into a fresh cow pat. Many times bro had to put it in the car boot/trunk to get it home. Stinky bugga.
Huskies got nothing on my beagle. He will scream through it at the top of his lungs. Lucky I'm his groomer.... He will sit still and take it though. It's just the screaming and crying like I'm eating him....earpiercong howls.
My grandparents had a dog that loved to be hosed down outside. If possible, my grandfather would not give him a bath, but just get him in the back yard and turn the water hose on.
I had a Yorkie that loved to be groomed we kept her hair long and brushed twice a day she was the most beautiful little dog I’ve had I miss her everyday
We have a yorkie that is literally the best for anything. Grooming? A breeze. House training? Took less than a week. She’s 7 now and we just got a her a golden retriever sibling a few months ago. She absolutely hates him. She wants nothing to do with him and omg does he love her. She also puts him in line and even through all the hatred she will growl and bark loud at any dog no matter the size who plays rough with him. Yorkies are incredible dogs.
Normally, I can't stand really small dogs (especially chihuahuas), but I dog-sit a rat terrier that has managed to completely steal my heart. Chloe is this vivacious, opinionated little ball of attitude, and I love this little meathead to death. Milo, as well, is an adorable little turd. Everything about him, from the way he wags his little tail, to the way he jumps around so excitedly, is so damnably cute.
My one-year-old Great Pyrenees Newfoundland mix just weighed in at the vet at 116 lb Seeing this little nugget just warms my heart what a big dog and a little body absolutely adorable
@@bewear3445 Well no, not just size. Airedales are actualy quite talll, comparatively speaking - 2-3ft at the shoulder. It's more about nature. Terriiers are basically burrowing hunting dogs and they are generally feisty, yappy, but not very obedient. However, very loyal. A Jack Russell will jump through fire for you -and great fun to have around the house.
I had a Yorkshire Terrier female called Dolly she was the most beautiful dog I ever had I treated her like a baby but I could tell she loved it, sadly she passed away 2 years ago.
@@cacu3989 it was her bladder she started peeing blood after we did the antibiotics she kept peeing herself I could see it in her eyes she knew what was happening and I made the hardest choice ever since an operation might have not even fixed her bladder plus I spent all my money on her trying to help her but you know and I'd rather not talk much further as it made me become very depressed.
Omg she called him a turd nugget!! My 11 year old daughter calls our kitty that all the time and i’ve never really heard anyone else use it before. Love it 🥰

I swear I had a mini heart attack when you started to clip his extra ear fluff because I genuinely thought his actual ears were that big at first! I know you know what you're doing though so I wasn't really worried of course. It was just really startling to learn that there was so much fluff there! 🙀🐾

It’s obvious how dedicated and caring you are to your dog (and cat) clients! You are also wonderful at educating people about different breeds and dogs who are and aren’t used to grooming.
My favourite kind of dog is the ones that are in front of me. I treat dogs like individuals. If I like the dog, I like that dog. Don't have a fav breed.

Is that an unusual policy for groomers to have? I just feel like it would be a matter of ensuring the areas and tools were sanitized between animals, which I figured groomers did anyway for other parasites and conditions. I love your videos!
Aww bless. I don’t know why it would be a big deal, hairdressers for humans see to everyone without knowing their hiv status. Maybe the groomers you’ve spoke to are a bit lacking in education on the subject. Good luck in your search.
@@madame247 the groomers would have to thoroughly disinfect every surface after grooming a cat with FeLV, so not telling the groomers would be an extremely unethical thing to do. It’s not the same with humans. I can imagine the unwillingness stems from the fear of not being able to fully sanitize.
There's so many great things about this channel but my favourite (besides the dogs of course) is how simple, concise and informative the video and audio are. Love it.
