Congratulations man! Your 100 days videos are all I watch now, also if your plan is to play through the story arks after gen 2 I’d recommend valguero. It has deinonychus, an ice wyvern trench and an ab zone which is so much easier to get a reaper king on ab itself. There’s no radiation or nameless or anything hostile depending on where it is. Great work love your vids!

Great idea but if my info isn't failing me there are Acros which stronger than gigas whit scary appearance, great damage and a buff which makes them like dinosaur version of superman but if it's from a mod then add it cus taming then is cheaper than a giga which even though it is passive tamed it's hella complicated

I am not a great Ark player. Hell, I don't even have a way if playing it, without staying with a buddy right now.
It is super duper cool to be able to experience some of the action vicariously with a TH-camr like you, Syntac, Phlinger Phoo, Fat Frog, Vemo, Veno, and the such.
I LOVE this game. Very, very much. I hope your love for it lives far longer than this, it's heydays.

Yeah it took me a while to become good at ark I just learnt and got better from watching videos it helped a lot I’m sure you have gotten better now if so good job it isn’t a insanely easy game it can be hard

I never have the patience to do this kind of stuff, sometimes im like: yup, lets start a single player world and beat the whole map! Then I get to the point where you need to make electronics with oil, silica pearls, cementing paste etc. etc. and then I'm too lazy to continue, so thats why I also haven't completed genesis yet. So nice video!
I usually get all my resources pretty good but get lazy when it comes to clearing the caves to gather the artifacts.

Just so you know, using a compound bow gives equal taming to a bow and ruined taming effectiveness… also wait at least 5 seconds between shots, otherwise the tranqs won’t be effective as they didn’t have time to inflict much torpor because it doesn’t stack and torpor is an overtime thing, like how when you burn in a game you don’t just take 50 damage, you take 2 damage every second or something like that.
Tranq arrows do stack torpor time but tranq darts Don't they're different for some reason

Direct quote from the tranq *arrow* not the dart, wiki
“A second arrow hitting the target will not override the torpor-over-time effect of the first arrow, the effects of multiple arrows will instead stack. That means it's not necessary to wait in between shots to gain the maximum torpor. On the other hand, the torpor increase takes 5 seconds. So if the creature is near unconsciousness, it's better to wait after each shot as to not harm the creature unnecessarily.
Remember not to leave the render distance of a creature you are trying to knock out. Unrendering wild creatures may remove their debuff, and cause previously delivered Tranq Arrow to lose effect.”
So I have nearly 5k hours in ark. And I just fucking learned this. I always thought you needed to space your shots. You don’t… that’s cool

Great video my guy 👍 Really glad that you managed to defeat controller even with your med brews not working. There is a certain consumable that if you use it in this boss fight, it stops all other heals from working (I think its the fria curry / enduro stew that cause the issue) Not surprised that this hasn't been fixed but can be a shame for people who don't know about the issue and die because of this.
Makes a lot more sense. I thought he had thousands of HP since slurping down that many health brews without seeing any HP increase 😆

For anyone who doesn't know, you can click H when hovering over a Dino and HLNA will scan it and you can then see its stats (including its torpor) which makes taming to much easier

Dude you made Genesis 1 look like so much fun.. I kinda thought it was unbeatable
The bog has the easiest 'missions' The easiest biome is the ocean.
The bog is ok if you are used to the map but starting off as a beginner, the ocean is better just to level up though it's a bit harder to find stone. Use Helena to teleport around until you find a spot with stone you can pick up. Torches are your friend in the bog.
We usually lvl up on Giga babies but Rex babies will do when you don't have those. Another trick is to use a lystro in conjuction with a grinder.

i loved my blood stalker, but sadly when i was doing a metal run with him in the ocean biome he disappeared when i got off and started mining the metal, so i was stranded across the map from my base and i looked to see if it said my bloodstalker died, and it never did, so its like he just faded into the backrooms
This was great, really enjoyed it....and Genesis...never thought I'd type that :D Can't wait for the next!
I keep uninstalling ark but this man keeps making me wanna get it back and be better at the game

@@isyzen I also forgot to say you taught me so much about that map! I never knew any of the things you knew until now. For example: the clams on the walls of the ocean give you pearls. Example two: (I forgot the name) but the big whale looking thing gives oil if you kill it and harvest it! And a whole lot more!

Quick tip for everyone,teleport to ocean the second you load in the game,it's the easiest cuz the islands have nothing that can hurt you
if you are going to be using mods, use awesome spyglass, S+, Dino storage, and upgrade station, as they can grind ungrindable items(the ones with the crossed o)
I had a group of friends I taught to play using dino storage v2, s+, 10,000 stack size -90% weight reduction, and upgrade station. They got curious why we never checked the drop things and I asked if they wanted to try the game having to use blueprints to craft because I have over 900 hours JUST drop hunting for blueprints on every map (300 hours surface drop hunting on Abberation alone). That lasted 4 days and I had to re-enable upgrade station to make them want to play again. Blueprint hunting is luck based, has nothing to do with skill, and is just time consumption for the sake of time consumption. Anyone that's even drop hunted for 20 hours or more shouldn't ever have to again. Blueprints are a shit mechanic and just need to be deleted. Highly recommend upgrade station unless you just like dumb things like moving hay into a truck one straw at a time.

16:19 fyi you can simply go into the mission tab and abort the mission to avoid unnescesry dmg as all mission dinos will despawn if the mission is ended.
Edit: i see you did it after running, but you can do it mid combat too. Theres no resrictions on ending the mission.
