Hey man we've all been there, we've all been noobs at some point. People can be ruthless and say means things because they would've done things differently but they forget at some point they were there aswell not knowing anything. I know I have.
Everyone!!!!! I have gotten about 40 comments on the fact that i killed the 140 argy and tamed the 45 i know lol! The reason i did that was because i didn't need a high level argy seeing as wyverns were my main mount the entire game as well as the fact that, if i didn't have to go through the trouble of more resoureces and time spent on a higher level argy, i didn't want to.
A quick little tid bit: If you whistle passive on your tames if they are attacking something or are about to die while attacking something and they are following you, they will stop attacking the creature and go back to following you.
@@MiaTheSpinoQueen the only thing that sometimes did not work for me was whistle aggressive, but passive always did and even if it didn't... he didn't even try, and he knew about whistling so it's really hard for me to understand how this all went down like that
I got so upset at this to he was shooting the lvl 140 then when he went to the next playform talking how argies are better he started to shoot the weak one and made me cry when he killed the lvl 140
Small tip : To tame a cristal wyvern without waiting for it to land again you can wait till it's landed and jump on its wing then try to get on its body and you'll be able to feed it as soon as it's hungry

I love it and hate it at the same time, its a very nice map and I love it, but idk, part of me just doesn't like the layout, its not good for massive scale compounds imo. and I try to tame every creature so I need a lot of room to protect them. ofc there are some amazing spots to build but most just arent it

For your near death experience in the wyvern hive, I learned the hard way to always have parachutes on your hot bar! That way if you accidentally dismount from a high place, you can quickly deploy the parachute to avoid chunking your health :D
Another small tip: if your dinos get into a fight they can't win, you can group whistle passive and follow and they will become passive and follow you away from danger.
Stone walls look really good with greenhouse stuff. Also I would recommend adding S+ to your servers because they have some QoL things and Glass structures.
Ah man, Crystal Isles is probably the most beautiful map (next to Aberration) in ARK. So many landsides in different colours and heights, and all the crystals all over the island. I really love this map. This was where a friend showed me how to play ARK properly. But I also really like this map because it's really easy to get resources and has many good spots for building. This a perfect map for relaxing a bit in ARK, and that's why I often play on this map.

Hey Syzen! Loving the vids, rewatching this one after about 2 weeks and you never fail to entertain me! Just letting you know, If you're ever in a sticky situation where your flier has run out of stamina and you're getting attacked, just dismount and whistle follow and passive, it'll regain stamina as you run away from the aggressor, so after 10 seconds you can just hop back on!
I love ark. Almost 500 hours, started about 5-6 weeks ago. However, between being a dad and working and everything else, i just dont have the time to play this game on normal rates. I like a challenge and like to know im doing things like everyone else. Despite this, it would take me idk 3-6 months maybe even double that, to play ark the way alot if you guys do. I use mods and some commands, but only if its to speed up something. Like, imprinting or hatching eggs, as long as i have actually done it before and know i could do it if i spent the time. That way it doesn’t feel like totally cheesing the game. The only mod i use that i feel pretty guilty about is the upgrade station. Makes farming for bp’s obsolete and by the boss battle granted i had to farm a shit ton do so, despite what i use to speed things up it all still takes hours upon hours but me n my dinos gear is essentially maxed out. I might do away with this mod actually because it isn’t in line with only time saving BUT. On my first ark run on the OG island map. After over 100 hours of looking for a pump bp, i had gotten nothing, I finally got so desperate that i just used the fly command to zip around and check all the beacons n cave drops. I NEVER got one. I finally said fuck it n just downloaded upgrade station mod n never looked back so whatever.

Dude you can use a Gasmask to see EVERYTHING under water… just saying :) Also… and what is more important… you forgot to enable special attacks on the wyvern, which would have saved theirs life’s, as they can regenerate (that’s what you choose blood wyvern for didn’t ya?!) and finished off the queen for sure.
Just for the record, if something like a rock elemental hits your stuff, whistle passive, then follow. They'll leave it alone and come with you, whatever it is.

FYI: Instead of gathering sand, cactus sap and making clay, crafting adobe structures and building the adobe 1x1, you can just craft the "Tent" off the Scorched Earth DLC. You can carry it around, place it when needed and it'll keep you shielded from the Super Heats. Once it subsides, simply pick up your tent, and head off to whatever you were doing prior... You're welcome! Lol... Great vid man. Just a tip. Scorched Earth is my second favorite DLC aside from Aberration (best DLC of all time in my opinion.). Keep up the great work!
Well done and a great vid on a very good map. I like that you explain more as you go along cause that helps us that are still learning the game. Another great water tame is a Basilosaurus, its the true king of the ocean in my book. It takes no damage from electrical attacks and the jellyfish and if levelled up right can kill all. All i can say is keep it up, you do good work.

About that golem, I made the same mistake with a pack of like 30 dire wolves on scorched earth, all but two of them were bred and it took ages and I loved them and only like 6 of them survived, it was only after that that I learned to whistle passive and follow, I feel your pain! I swore vengeance against their entire species, it's over a year later and I still love to kill those damned things.
hey , when your tames are attacking something you dont want them to whistling follow wont work, you need to whistle passive so they are gonna stop attacking, and then whistle follow

Another small tip, if your Dino’s are attacking something and you don’t want them to then whistle passive. It’s why they wasn’t following you when they was attacking the rock golem. Whistle passive then whistle follow all and they’ll come

A great tip for ark is to whistle passive when your Dino’s are attacking something you want to tame. Probably would’ve saved your blood wyverns and mosasaur tame.

True Griffins are great with their Dive Speed Boost but they are Somewhat difficult to Tame ..... If Your Baby Wyverns want Milk Cryopod it and Redeploy it One or More Times until it Wants to Walk or Cuddle ..... Easy Peasy Job Done !!!!!
GREAT VID! so sad at the end there. Here’s a tip your wyverns weren’t the problem it was that the weren’t boosted. Saying that you put 30k health on those things. If you brought a yuty and your wyverns it might have been different outcome. I know because I’ve failed boss fights before. Yutys are mandatory
Pro tip for if your dinos attack things that are not supposed to: if you got to whistles and you see a whistle that says "whistle passive" but when you were attacking stuff, you had attack my target on. All you have to do is press the passive whistle and they will leave the creature their attacking alone.

When you want something to stop fighting a potential tame, whistle passive first then al follow. Never have a tame on neutral if you're trying to tame something aggressive. Learned that the hard way so many times.

Take some time to learn the whistle commands. It is very very important. You can also make Dino’s ignore whistles and manually set them passive.

Little advice. You can place foundations on top of each other so they just demolish themselves. Faster if you’re trying to grind.

I always dye my underwater mount saddles yellow or a bright color so they stand out underwater. It helps if I ever get dismounted
You just can kill spinos they give a pretty decent amount of exp.
You can also bread them so u can kill the babies.

Also passive taming wyverns you can stand on their back and be compleatly safe and just feed it as soon as possible again xD

Another small tip, if your Dino’s are attacking something and you don’t want them to then whistle passive. It’s why they wasn’t following you when they was attacking the rock golem. Whistle passive then whistle follow all and they’ll come

A great tip for ark is to whistle passive when your Dino’s are attacking something you want to tame. Probably would’ve saved your blood wyverns and mosasaur tame.

What a Noob all Crystal Wyvern are Passive Tames using Crystal, simply Hop on their Backs and Feed them Crystal until they become Your "BFF" !! !
You need not steal Heir Eggs at First, tame a Tropical First, Then use it's Water Buff to Escape the Heir Parents just remember to Avoid Heir Bloods as They are the Deadliest Ones to You .....
True Griffins are great with their Dive Speed Boost but they are Somewhat difficult to Tame .....
If Your Baby Wyverns want Milk Cryopod it and Redeploy it One or More Times until it Wants to Walk or Cuddle .....

GREAT VID! so sad at the end there. Here’s a tip your wyverns weren’t the problem it was that the weren’t boosted. Saying that you put 30k health on those things. If you brought a yuty and your wyverns it might have been different outcome. I know because I’ve failed boss fights before. Yutys are mandatory

Pro tip for if your dinos attack things that are not supposed to: if you got to whistles and you see a whistle that says "whistle passive" but when you were attacking stuff, you had attack my target on. All you have to do is press the passive whistle and they will leave the creature their attacking alone.

Hi. I just found you on TH-cam. I am loving the content. Just a tip. If you whistle your creatures onto follow under the water then they don't swim up to the top when you jump off.

When you want something to stop fighting a potential tame, whistle passive first then al follow. Never have a tame on neutral if you're trying to tame something aggressive. Learned that the hard way so many times.
