You were my first "100 days on ark" video, recomended by I don't know what reason in the algorithm. Since then, I've downloaded the game, been adicted to it and watched countless 100 days videos. I really LOVE yours and Zany Zebra ones the most. Thanks so much for these amazing, informative and hard to make pieces of art. Much love from Argentina!!
This is my first time seeing any of the genesis dlcs and it reminds me a lot of warframe in some aspects (the space combat, the infested area, the tentacle fight). I remember when this used to just be a dinosaur game, I can see why they decided to dial that back for Ark 2.
Ark was initially designed as a dinosaur survival game. Some people liked that - Some people wanted more. Ark gained its specific identity over the years. Tek and element was supposed to be a sort of enigmatic sci-fi aspect that aspired a great sense of curiosity which compelled the player to keep pushing; keep surviving. I love Ark for what it is. It's a world where mystery and magic meets primal and advanced.
This is perfect timing! My college is snowed in all day and had no clue what to do with myself lol thank u for giving longer content that’s not boring and is actually funny!! U the best man

For the Giga trap, you can just use 2 metal dino gateways in a V shape and a large bear trap between them, then put a final gate behind to make a triangle once it steps on the trap and gets stuck, and since they're metal it can't damage them. I also recommend using biotoxin for keeping it KO'd if there are jellyfish on the map, as it's much more effective than narcotics and pretty easy to get.
me was wrong. they add over 16 seconds apparently, in which case biotoxin is actually most efficient if you can farm it without any issues, on aberration for example there's buttloads of it stored in mushrooms you learn something new every day lol, tho for a giga berries should also do the trick but it really annoys me to see so many people use narcotics to keep things knocked out, such a waste of berry and crafting time because 5 berries EASILY beat 1 narcotic, in fact 3 berries do in case of the giga

I can't seem to fathom why i never tire of 100 days of Ark Survival Evolved. They keep providing so much content, from so many different people.. Different takes of the same ARK.. I have been playing ark for about a month going on two months. I beat the island on Alpha, took me 200+ hours. Granted when I first loaded onto the island it was literally my first time playing arc. I am on scorched earth and A few days away from beating that. I am a solo player. And everything I have heard of Genesis one and two from all the TH-cam content I have seen made it seem like you can’t really play Genesis or beat it solo as it is made to be a tribe thing more or less. Which really bummed me out. I was going to try anyway and I was really dreading it. you have completely restored my hope and excitement as I now know I can absolutely do it solo. Maybe not alpha on Genesis one. but regardless. I just wanted the full ark experience by the time ark 2 comes out and its looking like i might have just enough time to beat all the maps by myself before then. Thanks bro.
Quick tip for gigas u can use the smaller dino gates and a bear trap to keep it in while u place one behind it tho if you go too far away it could glitch out

You can get Mutagen in the heart acid pool. Just wait for the tide to go down and kite reapers away. Pick up by hand small blueish pearl looking nodes. Can also be harvested by strider. GL getting it down there.
I am a bit late but you can stay on your mount to get impregnated by a Queen. Just sometimes quickly dismount to get the aggro to yourself. Also, you need a gland from a Queen to not get attacked by the little guy. Just eat the gland moments before birth. Also if you cryo the Reaper baby, it seems to disable the aggressive nature, making it not attack everything.
