The motor position snail adjuster will need to be rotated down so the motor can be adjusted up (loosen belt). After gently tightening the motor bolts, use the snail adjuster to slowly make very small adjustments until the primary belt (or chain) has the right tension. Tighten the bolts (4).
Too adjust the belt tension there is a silver metal cam that may stop you removing tension, you have to rotate it to allow some movement in the motor :). Great vid man I wouldn't of thought to check brake lever sensor.
How do you like that stem? Not sure if I could get used to the look...kind of funky...
rad man this video is great. I riped that wire sensor for the brake out of the socket when it panic throttled into a pole. THe throttle will not work now. I thought it was the throttle that needed replacing as well as the brake. Now I know it couold possibly just be this sensor wire for the brake. I am guessing if I just unplug the other end of the wire that will fix it? remove all traces of the sensor wire and it will work?

also one reason for your battery for not charging could be that it's too hot from riding. it won't charge when it hot. wait 30 minutes and try again. always works for me.

I have a squealing belt since the second service was done , it sounds like a cars fan belt ? Is this a cleaning thing or a belt tension thing ?? 😬
Could be dirty and needs clean. Or it could be too tight. Both are easy fixes. I found that after really dusty rides my belt is really noisy
Does the low voltage cut off procedure also apply for a Segway x 160?

How about my sur ron. Works. Drives but not as power ful? It’s fully unlocked. Just the speed isn’t there. Only does 45mph with the wheel of the floor.
I’d start by making sure your chain is clean and lubed and not too tight. Spin your wheels off the ground to make sure they spin freely. If they don’t, replace bearings. Basically check everything that moves or spins to make sure there’s no binding, excessive friction. Something like a bent wheel or spoke could cause tire to rub. Think “how can I reduce friction”
And 45mpr is not that far off from what most people are getting on a stock bike. I’m 185lb and my sur ron’s speedo topped out at 48mpr with stock 48tooth

My bike has no throttle response I took of the kickstand sensor the tilt sensor and still no luck but I have power all around the bike only thing not working is the throttle any clue what that could be??!
Is it a wire throttle? Follow the wire from the throttle all the way down to where it's plugged in and make sure it's still plugged in correctly
When I turn the key the battery gauge works but I have no power, headlight, taillight or horn. Tried flipping the breaker switch. I was just riding around on property with the dog. It hasn't been wet, fall over or get hot.
Sounds like your power cable. The red and black cables. Make sure none of the plastic connecters are melted. I'd also make sure none of the sensors are triggered.

My Segway surron won’t go pass 15 miles per hour. I even cut the green wire and it’s still regulated to 15 . Can someone help me?
My Segway ebike x160 speed isn't going past 15 mph. Any idea what problem can be?
I'm not super familiar with the Segways, but I believe the power is all controlled with the app. The x160 dosnt have a high top end speed to begin with. The x260 will have more speed options. If you want to gain more speed without buying a new bike, I'd suggest picking up a Sur-ron X controller for $250 and installing it on your bike. That'd allow the bike to go 40mph+
can you tell me why my surron battery percentage as suddenly stopped showing?

Having problems with the throttle won’t work almost like a brake sensor or the kick stand sensor is just going and won’t allow the throttle to work

Did you check to make sure the throttle is plugged into the wiring harness?
no I haven't checked it could it be a throttle issue ? it happened when installed the bac 4000 it was working fine for days until that happened @@electricisbetter
After cleaning the belt, let it dry and spray it with belt conditioner. Don't use anything else as many lubricants will eat at the belt and cause failure.
The battery reset didn't work for me. Tried it hundreds of times. I'm waiting on parts to make a slower/lower amperage charger to try to revive a friends battery.

Shit when my display didn’t work now the bike won’t drive but it powers on? It sus something about breaks I put in fresh mineral oil idk what to do
Is it possible you have your tilt sensor, break sensor or kick stand sensor enabled? If water gets in these sensors, they will activate and will let you turn on the bike, but won't let the motor go
@@electricisbetter app says brakes are activated which cuts power but that wouldn’t explain why my battery won’t display how much power is left

A couple small things the belt BB lots are not Allen keys on my surron nor are my brake caliper s what is the tool o need5 star. Special correct
Plus I just watched the Luna video to get my light from blinking with the the level otwo three being of 7 pumps of brake plus one long one

Check the 2 wires coming from the back of the horn. They have a little rubber cover on them.

@@balls9945 supposed to be 2 of the same wires. If one of them is cut, you'll need a new wire harness. Or you could strip, and reconnect it with a little piece of wire (which would be easier) otherwise, Luna Cycle sells extra harness (which are somewhat difficult to install).
So this caused me to wreck in a big way... I was nonchalantly riding downhill near a rock garden when my bike literally just took off, full power out of nowhere. I completely let go of throttle while simultaneously trying to break... still full throttle, finally went end over end from breaking too hard right down a Rocky embankment . Now when I throw it on my dirt bike stand and turn the bike on if I touch the throttle and let go, the throttle goes full torque all on its own.... this is a dangerous problem and I’m assuming it’s due to a short in the throttle cable? I have no clue, I’m just glad my wife or son wasn’t on the bike when it went into full exorcism mode....
I would also say that. If you have one of the cable throttles on your bike it might be stuck where the cable wraps around the throttle box. There is a easy way to check this. Just follow the cable down to the throttle box (may have to remove the bash plate) and make sure the circle part that the cable wraps around is returning to its start position after you let go of the throttle. If you have a wire electric throttle, I would look at just getting a whole new one. They run like $30 from Luna cycle. Hope that answer helps 👍

It's kind of distracting cutting back and forth to your riding... I'd recommend keeping the camera on you, especially when your talking.
My Sur-Ron runs for 10 minutes then stops working completely then is fine in an hour and runs for 10 minutes again wtf is this shit

Sounds like it's still in 'clipped wing mode". On the connector for the battery, (the black communications plug. Not the red and black power plug) there should be a little green and black looped wire sticking out of the heat shrink. You'll have to cut that. It'll unlock your bikes power.
This issue just recently happened the bike use to run fine.
