I’m really excited to see how this place looks 5 years from now. Terrain is pretty tame, but i think the ambition is there to provide a solid collection of flow trails.
Rob... You should come back and hit Willow River again. Even more trails and Timberdoodle is almost done. You could then hit Whitetail Ridge (my home course) and Kinnickinnic State park. I'll buy you a round in River Falls at the The Garage Bikes + Brews!
In addition to the new trails, you could start riding trails with the local mountain bike teams and highlight the growing sport. St. Croix Composite rides all three trails in the area but Whitetail is the home course. Would also like seeing more stuff of what components you have on your bike and general maintenance. #contentidea
Few things make me jealous in life, but now knowing there are mountain bike trails @ WRSP, truly makes me envious. Was arguably my favorite place to go hiking when I lives in the Cities before relocating to Duluth/Iron Range and later the PNW.
Awesome video Rob!! I rode there last Summer for the first time and it was fun!! I rode there with a few of my Leb Crew Volunteers. We happened to run into one of the trail workers out there and he was telling us about the trails that they're adding. The Bass trails are pretty fun too! I'm excited about the new expansion of trails that they're adding. I can't wait to go back there in 2024.
Hawkeye has already packed down really well... this video must be from September... I rode it last on November 14..... looped it over and over...in one week, deer season will be over and Willow will be open again... Rob did not show the new return/downhill portion of Howling Coyote... it has some super fast and fun portions as well... Great video!!! Excellent camera work and editing!
I rode Howling Coyote but it was only a week or two after it opened…very sandy and very soft so didn’t make the cut, could see that trail being fun once it packs down nicely. Thanks for watching!
Great vid Rob!I haven't ridden Hawkeye yet. I've been too enamored with Kinni state Park trails! Now I can't wait for snow out there because the fat biking is sick!
Looks like some fun new additions at Willow! Rode here two years ago at opening and some of the trail builders from WIKI were talking about packing 20+ miles worth of trail at both Willow and Kinnikinnic! Looks like they weren’t kidding, I’ll have to check these out sometime.
Yah Man! Looks like a fun ride. I have only had time to ride in and hit the Bass trails. All these new trails on the WI boarder are super sandy at first. Spring sessions will hopefully be really good riding! Would be fun to do a 3 systems down the valley run! Lots of new stuff.
Bass trails are definitely a highlight here, but the new stuff will be great once it’s packed in. I think this place will be a flow park to be reckoned with a few years down the road.
Fun trails out there; Cool to see some of that expansion. The drone shots at the end are incredible🎉

Great video! Nice to meet you out there! Many more miles will be built next year.
Nice meeting you as well! I saw all the planned trails on Trailforks, looks like a solid addition!

Yeah I do need to, I know they’ve added a lot! Sounds awesome!!

Hey man, Duluth and PNW sounds pretty fantastic to me!
Willow River is pretty fun!
Yeah I had a pretty fun day!

Hey thanks! Yeah it’s pretty cool how many miles they are adding. Also, thanks for volunteering at Leb! 🤘
nice flo….bro 👍🏼
Great Flo bro
Awesome trails! My new fav. I hope MN can follow WI state park land MTB trails... Just think if Interstate park in MN had MTB..=)
Yeah that’d be fantastic - great terrain at Interstate!

I need to get to Kinni and White Tail next season! It’s so tough to get to everything - what a great problem to have!
No doubt! Whitetail ridge is pretty tight and techy with tons of limestone. Kinni has flow for days!

They weren’t kidding. I still need to make it to Kinni and White Tail. Heard great things about both of those trail systems!
