  • Welcome back to Drifting South where we are traveling south from British Columbia, Canada to Baja California Sur, Mexico.
This week we are discovering a little bit of Mulege before spending some time on Coyote Beach (Playa el Coyote). It was a beautiful spot to spend my birthday with Brent and Minnie. There were some restaurants just up the road which made for a fun evening outing. We checked out JC's restaurant who luckily accepted card payments, then Berthas which had a band playing there and only accepts cash, so come prepared!
After boon docking on the beach for 4 nights we went to Loreta shores RV and Villas to top up on water, cash, groceries and prepare ourselves for a week boondocking on Playa Juncalito. We met up again with Matt Jennings whose family stays in this area every year. It was great to have an inside scoop about this place because we may not have come if he didn't suggest it. We are tucked up below the mountains in a National Park and the views are incredible. It's a popular spot to see whales and dolphins and plenty more sea life.
We have greatly enjoyed the past few weeks in Baja California Sur and are looking forward to seeing some more familiar faces once my parents arrive in Loreto on the 29th. I will be taking a bit of a break from constant filming and editing to spend some quality time with them. Looking forward to seeing you all in the New Year.
Happy Holidays to you all. Thank you so much for watching!
    Take care until next time!
