    You’re very right about communication being incredibly important. It absolutely must be safe to communicate. I hope Brent knows how very lucky he is to have you. And alone time…I need my time very much and some people are quite the opposite and neither way is wrong. But it’s important to know what you need and what your partner needs. I’m glad that you’ve brought us along for the ride. Thank you!

      Thank you so much. I think in many ways, Brent and I are lucky to have one another. We work as a team and talk things out to understand eachother. Like you say, everyone is different and no one is wrong. Thanks for taking the time to leave this lovely comment. I’m glad you enjoyed the video!!

    I love this. Our mom always said if your relationship can stand backing up a trailer and assembling an Ikea bookshelf-you are golden :) Happy last couple of months on the road! Hope B has a great milestone birthday around the corner ;) Miss ya

      Haha, your mom is so right. I’m sure she had a lot of experience with that. Thanks so much for watching, Vanessa!! If the weather is good we will boat to an island nearby for a couple nights. 💕

    Love this video. Your observations and comments ring so true especially about communicating when parking the unit. Probably the most stressful part of the trip for many RVers.

      Hi Norm! Yes I think it can be the most stressful part of RVing. Tight spaces and often tired people trying to back into a spot. Good thing for pull-throughs! Haha. Take care and thanks again for watching!!

    I super enjoyed this video ! Loved your tips and could see you are a very balanced person Jenny , in the solutions you came up with. The division of labour makes good sense and I was thinking of ear plugs for you both at night so you can sleep through the noise of new places. It is May 2024 and I know you are in Good Hope now but I just want to say thank you both for letting me travel along . All the best !♥️

    We loved this video. Kath remarked that you are so "real" with all the different things that can go on while Rving. We chuckled at a few of the things you mentioned. We totally get it. All the best with the rest of your travels. We have one request,,,,,when you are having that mushroom cheese burger, give us a heads up, we will be right over. LOL

      You are both so sweet. Thank you for this kind comment. I truly appreciate knowing what you thought of it. I’m be working on another couple videos now. One about grocery shopping in Mexico. We also had a fantastic day on the water with 2 curious whales so that will be coming soon.

    I am a full timer from Ontario, hit the road back in November. Baja looks really nice, I've been chilling in southern Arizona and California for the most part, will start inching my way back in April. No plans to go back to a condo!

      @@jenny_adrift My fave has been the Palm Springs area, which is just a hop and a skip from Yuma AZ. Most of the parks in Yuma are 55+ so beware of that, but the ones that aren't age restricted are cheaper than California and the weather is similar (both are chilly at night and morning, its 11C right now in Ehrenberg AZ). There's also Quartzsite but you'll need lithium and solar, my little 220AH AGM and 100 watt panel does NOT cut it out there, been twice. Looking to upgrade to 400ah lithium before going back north for the summer.

    Great video Jenny. Communication is tough. My best tip, is do what your told. ha ha. When my wife says a suggestion, my answer is, Yes Dear.. using hand signals is great. The hint to using Hand Signals is. Don't mix Hand Signals and Voice Signals.

    Enjoy your channel Jenny, and Wait4it films and shows 👍🏻. Question for the both of you, what did you have to do for vehicle and trailer insurance coverage when in Mexico? Any links?

      @jenny_adrift  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi! Thank you so much for watching my videos! I’m glad you’re enjoying them! Here’s a link you can check out for mexican vehicle insurance www.bajabound.com/
      We also kept our Canadian insurance while traveling. Hope that helps!!
      If you’re travelling in Baja California, you do not need to import your vehicles, but if you’re travelling through the rest of Mexico, then you’ll need to fill out an import form .

    Hi Guys, how are you 2 going to go back to your separate jobs after such a wonderful trip and all that quality time together? I guess we all do it, so I have no doubt you will both survive. From what I see over here in Australia , it seems that Mexico is quite a dangerous place. Is this not the case, or do you need to stick to particular parts of Mexico? Love your videos.

    • @jenny_adrift
      @jenny_adrift  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi Jim! Thanks so much for watching all the way from Australia! Hope you’re enjoying your summer so far.
      Brent and I have been going our separate ways now for 3 years every summer. It can be tough but we make it work. Luckily with FaceTime and sharing videos of our lives on TH-cam, we can stay connected. Our jobs both allow us to take winters off and travel together so for us, it’s worth it. Great questions!
      Also, like any country, the there are some dangerous areas in Mexico. There are ways to keep yourself safe. We are on the peninsula which is said to be the safest part of Mexico. There is a lot of military and police presence to protect tourism. We dont travel at night and we stay out of areas known to be dangerous. We have found it to be full of very friendly and helpful people. We haven’t had any problems so far.
      Hope that answers your question! Thanks so much for watching!
