There are proceedings at the Permanent Court of Arbitration (PCA) underway as I post this to reconstitute the Tribunal in the Larsen case into a Commission of inquiry for fact finding. Two of those arbitrators are now sitting Judges at the International Court of Justice (ICJ). The third continues as arbitrator for the PCA. This stuff is real and is as serious as a heart attack. The U.S. State Dept. through it's embassy contacted the PCA and said it did not intend to stop the proceedings and asked the Hawaiian Kingdom's Gov't permission to obtain copies of the pleadings. The U.S. gov't recognizes the Hawaiian Kingdom and it's gov't so I don't see how people can be so stupid to think otherwise.
