IMO this is the best SNES song I've ever heard. I remember renting this game over and over again from Blockbuster because it was so amazing. Playing with my Brother brings back so much nostalgia... I miss it
Damn straight. Nintendo for years always has good audio, but the SNES really took it to a next level. The Genesis did okay on SOME games (like MK was better) but SNES out-classed it in almost every area and audio it wasn't even close.
@@juanzingarello4005 I miss the days where the majority of games had good music. These days you find a game here and there that has good music and some atmospheric crap. have you played streets of rage 4. That game has a dope soundtrack.
Used to own this game back in the 90s and played the hell out of it. You can tell how awesome the music is because I remember it like 20 years later humming parts before they're even playing lol
This stage, this china town all in grey and black with no one of the streets except thugs and that music being a throwback to double dragon 1 always gave me the impression that these streets used to be lively in the good old days. But now it's just a ghost town.
Best part of this stage, whopping people's asses between the speed bag!! The points you rack up if you position them all just right in the middle of your fist and the speed bag.
@nycdiesel212 all of the enemies' names: Williams/Roper (palette swaps of each other with Roper wearing the head band), Baker with the Chinese sabers, Jeff (green Billy Lee clone from the original Double Dragon), Steve (Jean-Claude Van Damme looking guy) Jackson the boxer, the Chin Ron Brothers (Foo and Pyo), McGuire (the fat clown), Carlem (the very tall fellow) and of course Duke the main boss.
One of the best Double Dragon sequal in the series. The previous,Double Dragon 3 for Nes and Sega Genesis despite being 2 different games of the same name it was a joke and the worst ever in the series. Super Double Dragon on the Snes was the best Double Dragon,I could still play it again and not get bored.
I thought the nes version of double dragon 3 was solid. It was a down grade from the second game, but it had some good music and I love that over head flip throw move. The arcade and genesis versions were far worse despite being on more powerful hardware.
This was the stage where if you had a partner you could live out the cover, one of you had the nunchucks the other the staff and no one could get close to you
I miss this game; especially the music. I would spend hours playing this game if nothing else to just enjoy the music. The game was just fun to play. Double the fun if you had a friend or sibling to play with.
This stage was my favorite stage simply because this song payed homage to the classic double dragon on NES . This game was so underrated we need a remake fr. Track is 🔥
Bernard Oliver I wanted Neon to be like Super so damn bad. It was alright, but if they added a parry mechanic like this one, it would have been so much better.
Shame, this game should have/could have been more fleshed out with actual story sequences between levels etc. - had a very solid foundation but just feels...unfinished like a late beta that was shipped out anyway.

Criminally underrated.
X2 I still play it brother , its awesome.
@@MarkoTulio I often come back to it too! Great rendition of the main theme.
That solo is amazing.
It’s true. My co worker went to jail
Back to the childhood, this was my favourite track of the game. And the point you grab the punching sack and toss it to five enemies at the time😂
Snes had some of the greatest gaming music out there.
X2

Wow..memories.. They don't make video game music like this anymore.. Noooooo Effiin way.
Nope. With the exception of some Kojima games and some modern version of classics like Mega Man 11 I can't find excellent music from any modern game.

Some are starting on music like this again.. Check out the messenger and horizon chase turbo 😉
Right good old days
Used to own this game back in the 90s and played the hell out of it. You can tell how awesome the music is because I remember it like 20 years later humming parts before they're even playing lol
Súper Mario World
Donkey Kong Country
TMNT Turtles in Time
NBA Jam
And Súper Double Dragon
Those were the best days
Don't forget about Contra 3 the alien wars and Ninja warriors that's add too the list
greatest game and the greatest music ever!
The SNES had no equal tonits music coming from other 16- bit systems. That Sony music sampler chip was simply off the chain. Thanks for this.
This stage, this china town all in grey and black with no one of the streets except thugs and that music being a throwback to double dragon 1 always gave me the impression that these streets used to be lively in the good old days. But now it's just a ghost town.
one of my all-time favorite songs from any video game and one of the reasons why i love 16-bit midi game music.

yo estoy muy satisfecho con las opiniones de estos humildes señores 👌👌🤝 las dos entregas fueron una maravilla.
calidad de juegos y opiniones👍👌🤝💪
That little ahhhhhhh in the background is awesome!
My training regiment
gawdamn this one of my time machines
Luv it!! Updated mission 1 theme from Double Dragon 1 on NES!! I loved it for the music as well!
Like I said, it’s the tune that we all know and love!
The Original Double Dragon 🐲 Theme From Nintendo Entertainment System
Best part of this stage, whopping people's asses between the speed bag!! The points you rack up if you position them all just right in the middle of your fist and the speed bag.
This song is the first double dragon theme but better details
great music
*puh puh puh- puh puh puh puh*- HAUGH!!!!
game lirics
The tune that we all know and love!
1:02 - what we all came for.
My favorite level of the game. The second phase of the stage puts you in the mind of the film Game of Death when Billy and Jimmy ascend the floors.
Would've been awesome to have to fight Kareem Abdul-Jabbar on the top floor instead of Larry Bird with the wrapped-up hands.
@nycdiesel212 well Carlim (who you later face in the Forest of Death) would have been close enough lol
@@JayByrd83 The tall boxer is Jackson

Try Double Dragon Advance on GBA, if you haven't. It's the last GOOD Double Dragon game.
Yes, DD Advance is best.
I thought the nes version of double dragon 3 was solid. It was a down grade from the second game, but it had some good music and I love that over head flip throw move.

Best song ever in a game
Listen horizon chase turbo ost 😉
I’ve said it before and I’m gonna say it again. This is the tune that we all know and love!
I'm sorry but I still loves this game and this song 🎵!
Best game console during the 90s.
**jumps through the air and kicks** “HAI!”
**blocks kick, grabs, and throws** “HAI!”

Damn that solo at 2:30 absolutely slaps! 🤘
You should hear this solo on the NES. THEY KILLED IT. NES Double Dragon mission one. You won't be disappointed.
I think this theme sounds good in every version of the game. think even the atari 7800 version of this theme was solid.
soundracks de las gods
fino 😎
Not me listening to the whole video while at work jamming 😂
Wow taking this fight to the dragon dojo
All I can hear is sound effects and that grunt when you finish them off lol 😂😂😂
I always thought it sounded like MURAG!
Scarface 80's vibes
good song😃
This track is the slums in every other double dragon game. Here its the theme for China town. Is there some hidden meaning there?
Nice muito legal.
That's the theme get me and my uncle hyped without useing any continue
I just want to run through this game again. Somebody has to drop it or i need an emulator. Double Dragon Neon was good but not like this.
Bernard Oliver I wanted Neon to be like Super so damn bad. It was alright, but if they added a parry mechanic like this one, it would have been so much better.
Switch Title with upscaled graphics and online coop. Make it happen an take my money.
DD Advance is best. This one is too slow.
@@chuckobscure haven't played that one
Try looking up super double dragon on retrogames.cc
Damn!
I am the real Billy Lee, the character was based off Me because I'm so Awesome
“Hi, Bimmy-I mean ‘Billy’!” 👋
I've just uploaded a remastered version of this track to my channel. Check it out.
It really bugs the crap out of me how the hi-hat is selectively played where it can squeeze in, just leave it out :D FFS
Need an actual remake of this game. Not that minigame crap they got for download in the ps store💀
