I have been a fan of yours for the longest time , and to be honest everyday I respect you even more, I respect that you have been riding for 20+ years and you still learning and getting in the school to better yourself and that is something I really admire. thank you for sharing this video with us and thank you for this beautiful channel. take care of yourself and ride safe.
I volunteer as a corner worker for these guys at most of the California tracks they visit. They are awesome people and super helpful. They’ve definitely helped me become a better rider. JJ and Dan (the mechanics) are my two favorite people to see and hang out with. Keith has really done a great job getting the best people for the job. I highly recommend this school to anyone looking to improve their riding skills. They also get a fresh line up of the current years BMW S1000RR. So you are never on an old beat up bike.
Hey Ib! This is why you are able to put the smackdown on so many people. You travel across the country to different motorcycle schools just to learn. This what makes you such an awesome rider. I learn so such just from watching your video's. Cant wait to see you again. Great video as always!
650ib is a class act! Nice guy. I was there those 2 days at VIR. Took time to talk to me when I mentioned I had seen his post. Could have easily blown me off but didn't. You have another fan. Hope to see ya back there next year so I can out brake you into turn one so I can say "Got em"!! LOL! By the way much love to California Superbike School. Class act. Always professional!
These schools are awesome but are expensive but worth doing. Glad to see you working on your skills, I've done schools with my track club & the information you learn could save your life, so much to work on!
Oh yeah, CSS is the best school on the planet. Good job 650ib for committing to the 2-day school. I took a few classes and had Geri as an instructor a few times, he is amazing and taught me a great deal that made a huge impact in my riding. Can't say enough how important it is to learn the extreme skills that could save one on the filthy streets. Thanks 650ib for posting this episode.
Ib, my wife and I took tht class in NJ. Was worth every cent and helped us be better street riders. Keep the vids coming especially a 650 in depth review of your bikes. Salute.
I did level one and two at VIR this last August for $2,550. They were brand new 2020 S1000Rs and it was a blast! I highly recommend anyone to take this course. Don’t be intimidated either, there were some people who had zero desire to go fast (which I found odd). It was my first time on a track as well and I felt really comfortable the whole day. The instructors were super cool too. 🤙🏼
Things sure have changed since 1986 when I attended....except for the Instructors, I see they are just as awesome now as they were then! I learned so much from that school!
Did one of these amazing courses on my Ducati Panigale 1199 Tricolore and also hired a BMW 1000rr at Phillip Island GP Circuit, Australia in January this year which was in the middle of our Summer. I see two Aussie instructors in your line up that were at my course, Christian and Bevan. Some of the support staff were there too. Great Vid 650ib, these courses are as important as our riding gear and I highly recommend them too.
Because of the name, I always thought you had to go to California for this school. Barber is my closest track, and this school will be there in May! I can’t wait!
I had my first track day yesterday! It was awesome getting my feet wet. I am definitely going to sign up for this school! Thanks for this and all of your great content!
Wow I can't believe Keith is just casually there still having his hand in this... An actual legend, you got a great pic with him! Your POV is great just loving the videos lately.
Keith is the old seer of track racing. Theres at least one of these guys at every track. You typically see these guys on old CBR919RR's or 954RR's and their just literally lapping every one while giving you a thumbs up.
@650ib I was at Newcombs Ranch and I won the entire Keith code library books & dvds! Awesome info and school. Great staff! All my friends have gone but I crashed around that time. Still healing smh
Holy crap, Ib! Man, you lucky DOG! I've wanted to go through this school and meet Keith Code (the legend), for a long time! I bought Keith's 'Twist Of The Wrist' (the video), AGES ago, and it is excellent information and tremendously improved me as a rider! I can only imagine what the school would do for me. AWESOME video!
Hey iB, glad you experience the training at the CSS ! One of the best training schools around as they've been doing it for nearly 40 years. I recently also took Level I & II at NJ Motorsports. Made me a much better rider, definitely worth the $$$.
Thank you for this video, I’m going to take the class this year and I was wondering what it was like and this video answered a lot of my questions. I just ordered the Twist of the wrist 1 video so I can watch it before I take the class. I remember my dad always talking about it back in the day.
I’ve always wanted to go to CBS!! Even as I kid when I used to watch Scott Russell in the AMA Superbike Series I used to always see the ads. This was very informative as I didn’t know they toured the country. I will definitely be checking out the schedule and signing up soon!!! Great stuff bro!
Ib thanks for this video,I've known about this school for years, but I didn't know that they travel to different tracks.Im gonna make plans to attend a session next year....... THANKS.
This is something that I would be very interested in. Im 6'3 230lbs so its sometimes difficult/uncomfortable to get in certain body positions while riding.
@@650ib ill be honest in saying that you have a lot more high speed riding experience than me. Your body and muscle memory have probably adjusted to shifting your weight when leaning in extremely high speed curves. Ive been riding since 2001 and not ashamed to admit that im not really a 160+ mph guy. Been 120-130 a few times but never in a curve. I would love to learn how to shift my weight when going in and coming out of high speed turns.
good thing you decided to invest in educating yourself and better thing you promote it, that shows inspiring attitude torwards all kinds of riders, given the brutality of the smackdowns you perform on the street
Not that expensive for you bro... I've done class 1 and it was exceptional, I learned a lot but costs are crazy if you want to do the two day. Want to go back but costs bruh...

Great video -- thanks for posting. One question: I noticed you have a techair suit. I tried the missile and couldn't find one that fit my chest and shoulders (yours style was out of stock). I was wondering what size suit you have since it looks like it fits you pretty well and how tall you are. I'm 6' 205.
I'm from Maryland stationed in army Virginia I remember when they first built and opened up Vir a lot of ama race's speed channel coverage have you been to barber racing track and museum in Birmingham Leeds Alabama area yet 🐼🐼🐼

Haven’t been on a bike in over 18yrs but after watching you... I regained my confidence to get back on!

THANKS 650 YOU BRING US BEHIND THE SCENES OF ALL TYPES OF COOL EVENTS!!!
Aw man, you got James as a coach! He’s hilarious and a helluva rider and coach.
Best motorcycle content on TH-cam OG. Keep working. I’m a new rider from philly. You definitely give me confidence to become a better rider.
I remember watching Keith years ago when he did instructional videos on riding 💪💪
