Don't listen to the critics about helping your kids with school, spiritual life, cooking and all the other things they deal with. That is what parents are for. My Dad died when he was 88 years old, my Mom when she was 90. I still have times when I wish I could ask them questions or seek their council. No matter how old they get, they are still your kids. Some of my kids are in their 40's and I love it when they call and say "Hey Pop what do you think about this".
I lost my Daddy 8 years ago just before he turned 99. For the last 15 years of his life, I called him or he called me every day and I still have something I want to ask him about.

If more parents got involved with their children and their lives, just imagine what a wonderful world it could be. Great job Wes, 92% is awesome. Calcs wasn’t my favorite subject at Penn St. and yeah I needed some help from time to time, nothing to be ashamed of, times I wanted to run into a brick wall but staying at it I ended up with a B average. Back in my day we had to have exactly 2” from the edge of our papers to do our work/figuring in, don’t think the instructor didn’t check either, you could have had the right answer but if you didn’t have that 2” from the edge then he would consider your work wrong 😳😖The joys of learning to be a better person, absorb it and one day your reward will be waiting for you 😁👍🇺🇸

WHENEVER the opportunity arises. It also makes a stronger family and teaches them they can rely on family members .

Hey Meredith, I will say this, Wesley is your son. You help him all you can. He is your son and No One else's . Congratulation Wesley on passing your Math test.
I have family that live around New Bern NC, and my cousin told me that they had almost 22inches of rain. He also said the weather folks had this storm/ rain amount all wrong. Since I live in Florida, We know rain. We've had almost 28 inches in 30 days. Nothing around us is flooding but orther parts of the state are.

Great news about Wesley with his math. I like math, would of loved to help him with it, glad you did all you could to help him. Whoever advised to not help him...foolish advice. All of us, everyone, needs help with something at times. Aren't we glad God doesn't tell us to 'work it out yourself' when we ask Him for help? Instead, He says 'I will NEVER leave you or forsake you' i'm thankful for that and know you are too. God richly Bless y'all!

You keep helping him because that’s what our kids need and that’s being a good parent is helping them as much as you can to make sure they learn and to the parent that says you should just leave them alone. That means their kids are probably failing, but I know one your kids Are gonna be like my kids they will excel in everything they put their mind to. I’m proud of my kids and I helped them as much as I could and I know you are proud of yours and right. two, but to the parent that left you a comment like that maybe that shows how much they are apparent keep that’s what they want and you want. You got two kids be proud of and I raise three and I’m proud of all of them but yourself on the back and Lawrence.

I had a CC professor that said it was his job to teach and if the students weren't getting it he was failing at his job he was a good teacher.

To the person that complained about you helping your child do homework, parents that don't help their children through life are lazy parents, Meredith, you are a great parent in so many ways 👍
And when he gets really good at it he can teach you so you can teach Austin when she is ready. When the moms were all working in their homes instead of needing to help support their families and needing to work away from home, they had more time to tutor their children. But things have changed moms need to work sometimes and squeeze in as much extra time as she can. Moms do a great job but it’s much harder now.
