This is one of those RPG series that comes along every 5-10 or so years. Roping us into it and making us spend hundreds of hours exploring it's worlds and meeting it's people. I will never, ever, be able to re-create my first ever experience with each of the 3 (atm) Mass Effect games. Each one giving me so many hours of fun (or at least the first 2) exploring every inch. Meeting every character and exhausting every dialog option with most of them, soaking up all the info I can. Feeling like my choices mattered.
FAVORITE GAME OF ALL TIME. I remember I was so excited for this game before it came out and it was during rough times, i was a teenager in high school, father had to pawn my Xbox and I scrounged up the money for this game and literally had it for 6 months before getting a new Xbox, during that time I watched countless reviews and gameplay videos and I remember the first day I finally got to play it after reading the manual front to back too many times to count.. That first day, that scene when Sheppard is walking through the Normandy and this song is playing, I'll never forget it. Hands down favorite game of all time, favorite series of all time, never has a game lived up to the hype that I put into like this game has. Man, the 00's were just something else for gaming bro. Halo, Mass Effect, Battlefield, Call of Duty, the list goes on. All new, exciting and without the greedy suits. Just passion, talent and a willingness to release good games. Ever since gaming became the biggest industry in the entertainment world, it just went downhill man. Nowadays, games all copy the new "trendy" thing, like battlepasses and in-game stores. Anything to milk the consumer dry. We're lucky if we get one game every other year that's as good as all those iconic titles we got in the 00's. That said, last year we got GoW Ragnarok and Elden Ring so that was actually pretty fucking great. I just want that to be the norm, not the exception. With how amazing games can look these days, I really wish studios would stop being greedy and start being passionate again so that we can get masterpieces all the time again
Video game producers were still greedy bastards back then, especially EA. However, they've been allowed to get away with more as the years have passed. It's not the gamers fault. It's the realisation that video games can generate massive revenue. Since the 2000's their revenue has increased exponentially at the cost many talented developers who didn't generate enough money and attention to keep them around. I will never forgive EA for shutting down Pandemic Studios.
I got uncontrollable chills right at the start. If there's one video game series I wish I could wipe my memory of just so I could experience it all again, it'd be Mass Effect, hands down.
The sign of an amazing game: Beating it through and then turning right around only to start again over and over just to see everything it had to offer.
Excellent choice, sir! I've bought my trilogy in 2012 and that was my first contact with the seires. Really, I became a fan since the very first game! :D
Bought my trilogy last year. Best decision of my life. You'll think so too, my friend. My advice? (Spoiler alerts maybe, if so I am extremely sorry) Choose Ashely, don't lose Wrex, and DON'T choose the Geth. Again, sorry if this spoils anything, but if you don't get it, you will in time I assure you ;)

Hands Are cool Somehow I don't like the idea of the new galaxy. I would rather like to see the game after the Reapers invasions, struggling with gigantic post war crisis. So many possibilities of creating interesting plot. That would be great! The idea of colonization of Andromeda is... Rather cheap for me.

2:12 "Hitting the relay in three.. two.. one..."
Damn i still get shivers from this
This manages to give you feelings of excitement and joy at the best moments during this game
This is such a good soundtrack! 💖
This theme to begin one of the most epic Legends ever told... perfect.
Ten years later thanks for upload
I got uncontrollable chills right at the start. If there's one video game series I wish I could wipe my memory of just so I could experience it all again, it'd be Mass Effect, hands down.
The sign of an amazing game: Beating it through and then turning right around only to start again over and over just to see everything it had to offer.
Never to late to live again this experience.... play again the trilogy
ALWAYS happy to help!
Bought the trilogy for PS3, just came back from the store. I'm pretty sure I'll be having a good time with this series :D
You will never regret your decision my friend :)
Again, sorry if this spoils anything, but if you don't get it, you will in time I assure you ;)
AZIONG651
Despite I agree with Wrex, I think you should make your own choices. That's the grace of the game. :)
AZIONG651 NO! You can save Geth AND Quarians! And - Kaidan forever! ;) But that is just my personal opinion...
I wish I could go back in time and replay this game again just to experience it all over again.
Truly awe aspiring. Probably the greatest choice for music in the any opening part of a video game. Great memories.
And then a legend begin.
no game will ever compare to the greatness that is the Mass Effect Trilogy
if any, planetcape torment, final fantasy x, lost odyssey and several others are better, but definitely mass effect is one of the best ...
dem dangerous quarian hips
Goosebumps first, eargasm soon followed!
Will never forget this series
In the year 2148, explorers on Mars discovered the remains of an ancient spacefaring civilization. In the decades that followed, these mysterious artifacts revealed startling new technologies, enabling travel to the furthest stars. The basis for this incredible technology was a force that controlled the very fabric of space and time.
They called it the greatest discovery in human history.
The civilizations of the galaxy call it... MASS EFFECT.
"What about Shepard?"
Yeah, what about Shepard?
+iM3GTR I'll kick their asses, that's what.
It's been 9 years already! So much nostalgia!
Настроение поднимает)) а ведь уже 6 лет прошло...
А теперь еще 6 лет прошло)
Best fucking game theme, seriously. Mass Effect is one of the best series ever. Chef's kiss to this series.
This game was so ahead of his time
People don't realize how many soundtracks this song inspired.
Hello world, you haven´t forgotten about this great game right? Ignore Andromeda.
Cmon, MEA might have been somewhat mediocre compared to the others, but on its own, it was pretty good. #MEAndromedawasnotbad
I know I'm late, but isn't this just the best game series ever and the best intro, nothing like this has ever been done
i remember not knowing off this game up until 2 months of the Mass Effect 2 release.. and still i couldnt wait!
ME: Andromeda hype!
Still a long time to go, but... hype!
Kazmistrz1993 hype is like indoctrination, you have to fight it
Kazmistrz1993 Don't care what they said about 3 it was fucking awesome! but i have no hype for Andromeda... I hope it will be good Storywise Too
Hands Are cool Somehow I don't like the idea of the new galaxy. I would rather like to see the game after the Reapers invasions, struggling with gigantic post war crisis. So many possibilities of creating interesting plot. That would be great!
The idea of colonization of Andromeda is... Rather cheap for me.
I rlly hate the idea of a new galaxy
+Maslany Yeah, how would anyone even be able to feasibly get there? It's so damn far away.
image this its E3 2015 they have just shown you some awesome games but then the whole room just goes black for a few seconds and this song starts to play. THE FEEELS THE DAAAM FEEELS ;_;
for me this would be bigger than elderscrolls 6 and FO4 and any other game combined. I would shut myself away from the world in a room painted black (ignoring my wife and child) to hear this. Gotta love the western hemisphere for its art and glory. nowhere else in the world can such things be made.
Oh my god, this need to happen. I'll be at E3 this year and BY JESUS if this happens, I will shit gold bricks.
Just 126 years and a few days to go now folks :P
Remember getting my own 360 for the first time from Game in Ealing Broadway in like 07 or 08. This was part of the 360 bundle.
Such a legendary trilogy. Almost feels like another lifetime when I first put the disk in and saw the opening for the first time

@@Blankace. on console it is. But of course PC is over all best. If you limited to console in best filter. XBOX SERIES X will only one pop up.
Still gives me goosebumps.
