    Thank you Christopher! Since the early eighties, I have always wanted to see this display of Oak Island. I read over and over and over the described "well" and its many layered obstacles. The 3D Model is so very accurate as to what I was imagining. The box drains is what I could not imagine. But I was a child back then. The mysteries of the world like The Crystal Skull, Shroud of Turin, Huge Blast in Siberia, Unseen energies, UFO, interested me greatly. Thanks again and OMGAWD thank you TH-cam. TH-cam never seizes to amaze me.

    rather than having the platforms measured in "feet", i recommend you convert it to "meters". This way, you will see that each oak platform is layered every 3 meters, almost exactly.

    For something many people claim is a fake someone went to a lot of trouble creating something that well engineered, whoever did it certainly did not want something found, not to mention who buries oak logs chaulked together deep underneath the ground.

    This would be very easy to uncover. Just hire the same team that made the islands in Dubai to sand fill in the pits that control the flood water. Once those are dammed off you can drain the water once and for all and properly dig it out. It should be easy to find all the exhaust / drain / water in takes if you just cap off the vault itself and push air pressure into it. This will cause bubbles and put die in the water to make it even more visible in the bay. Method 2. Would be dig a hole next to it to divert the flood chambers into.. Either way the water is not that big of a issue, they just aren't using the right equipment on a large enough scale. Given it make take a million + dollars to do this, I am sure there are tons of rich folks out there with nothing better to spend their money on who have everything they could want, why not throw some money and become a piece of history. If so look me up and being a engineer I will draw you up plans that work, and promise we make it to the bottom of the vault. Getting the land owners who currently own the land is another issue, but perhaps when their flushtration gets the best of them they will let the general public have a crack at it. There is enough interest in this thing I doubt it will remain a mystery for much longer.

  • @ElegantHope
    @ElegantHope 11 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    It may too difficult, because they still have to continue digging. Figuring out how to deal with the water seems to be the best idea to do first, and since removing the water becomes futile, they have to figure out ways to block up all sources of water.
    Not to mention the restrictions of air and such...

    It was an elaborate man made well, made in attempts to filter sea water to allow a drinkable supply of fresh water to enable population of the island, high tide caused the water levels to naturally rise through the filtration process of sand, coconut filters, rocks, charcoal etc. the pulley marks originally found on the tree were from numerous uses of a bucket being dipped on a daily basis to collect drinkable water. The only treasure was liquid gold - water. The well was filled in when the inhabitants left.

    Well, there's no doubt something of extreme value was buried down there at one time but it's probably been retrieved already. They probably dug straight down first and booby trapped it, then came back out sideways to the swamp area which wasn't a swamp at the time. Whoever dug it knew how to get in the side entrance and then buried their tracks by making the swamp.

    @DewkChronic There was a cryogenic freezing option that we looked into as well. This was also a previous design from another design group two years prior. The problem is even after freezing, its unsure if it will form a perfect enclosure which is what we want.

    One more thing; "Forty Feet Below Two" means; "Find two structures; in the middle dig down firty feet"
    "When the last oak tree is gone; you will find the answer" so what we need to do is this; dig that tree up and look forty feet down it; and excavate that area"
    Take the tree that is dug up and plant it in the centre of stonehenge; also; plant an apple seed underneath the tree.
    Any questions?

    Collapse the side tunnels by using dynamite and test the pit by pouring dye into it to see if it worked, then pump out the water

  • @iamrhart
    @iamrhart 11 ปีที่แล้ว +7

    1) you cannot just plug the holes and expect water wont seep in. Have you ever had a straw with a hole in the side, top and bottom? if you plug the side, the water will still come in the bottom. The point is, they broke a seal at some point, and are now screwed.
    2) have you ever started to dig a hole at the beach? you can only go so far before you reach the water-level of the lake/ocean. then the water starts to come in. they apparently reached that level. Even if they surround the entire island with a wall and start pumping water out, they still have to deal with more water coming in.
    solution? i suggest geting people to put on some diving suits and go down to start digging, and put the muck into buckets. so you go from an Air environment to a water environment. its not like it 'hasnt' been done before.
    the problem is not technology. the problem is not 'lack of many power'. the problem IS a lack of MONEY.

    • @EtherealAriel
      @EtherealAriel 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      People can't really dive down into a hole like this. Maybe to look around at the water surface but that's really it.

  • @ChronoXShadow
    @ChronoXShadow 10 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    After reading recent comments(not so recent), I've decided to add my own idea:
    Instead of finding ways to pump/get rid of the water, what they should do is find a way to drain the water back to the ocean, or have it circulate somehow. Then put a pump at the head of the 5 holes. You now have yourself a kick-ass water/tube slide lol Your million pounds will come in the form of a water-park attraction.

    How about plugging the tunnels that come in from the ocean, then you eliminate the flooding problem, Boom!

    • @Epiphone1964
      @Epiphone1964 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      There are no tunnels. The ground beyond 100 feet down is sand and stone on porous limestone that erodes in to subterranean caves. And the island is only 30 feet above sea level. That water seeps in from the sea is inevitable, and sink holes from collapsing limestone caves eroded by sea water are common all over the island.

    • @TheCamaro5
      @TheCamaro5 10 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You should learn to use the tools at hand and do some search on here. There was a small gold chain found on the drill but with that said I beleive that it was probably from the decease not from a treasure chest, as far as the concrete you and I will never know because we werent there it very well could have been broken rock from digging long ago, but that is what is wrong with the older generation, they think they know everything when all they have to do is a little research.

    To my mind there is a few things going on here, perhaps it was just a water filtration system, but has also been used and marked for other purposes. Arrows etc pointing to nearby Islands, like Birch Island.
    But if the man made tunnels and shaft are man made, there must be some documentation as to whom or why it was built, and who benifited out of such a system.

    The money pit is flooded, so the point of this project was to isolate the dig site from the ocean. That required a concrete perimiter to cut off the flow of water. This is what we believe happened: The english or french were the two largest naval powers at the time. Supposedly, a spanish ship crashed near the island and sunk. Either a ship from France or England recovered this treasure, and decided to bury it on this island so that they can come back a later date and retrieve it.

  • @ElegantHope
    @ElegantHope 11 ปีที่แล้ว

    Except the water may make movement more difficult, and you'd be limited by air. And the pressure of water on them gets worse the deeper they go. Not to mention the dirt that may get disturbed, lowering visibility.

  • @thomaswood2099

    what if the money pit was just a plug once opened it lost it ability to hold back the water, and the contents are actually above the water line

  • @bgeezia

    I think a crew dug upwards by getting rid of the dirt out from the side shafts because the water levels weren't as high then and the oak was their prop to go/dig up and knew the water was rising every few years but I still don't know what they would of put down there to hide for the future not to see.

  • @austinrjm

    @robotron3k I have to agree, after I saw this clip, teh first thing that sprung to my mind is water filtration, also I have been reading and researching Oak island and the "Money Pit", for a couple of weeks, I was thinking that the inscribed stone is translated wrong, the first word translated = forty, but the code has 6 characters, and "Forty" does not, there are more mistakes if you try and decipher the code, using there key.

    @JoeDurobot The people who made that "translation" knew about the so-called money pit and treasure theory.
    Its not like someone gave them a message in a unknown language and they translated from nothing.They assumed it was in english when its known that the french navy was on that island at some point.
    It could have been in any language.But nobody ever saw that stone anyway.

  • @BlazingBobby
    @BlazingBobby 13 ปีที่แล้ว

    @BlazingBobby After returning with more ships maybe a year later of the initial dig, they retrieved as much of the treasure as possible and before leaving it, dug tunnals that led to the ocean so that any future retrievals from rival countries could be near impossible. Those flood tunnels allow hundreds of pounds of ocean water (about 400lbs/minute) to flow into the money pit area. For this reason, it is highly dangerous and unstable to excavate. Hence, our design to cut off this flow.

    cant see why you cant drive a steel pipe right around the out side of it.driveing it down into the ground and pushing it past the vents right down to the bottom then make steel water proof layers so as you can dig with out the floods.i just watch a video on men makeing a pit hole in the same way!!mabe you might want to ask them if they want the job??all you need is a good engineer,,

    there does`nt appear to be the will to do this.
    strange indeed, considering the amount of trouble whoever built this pit went too.

    Ok; so take the entire globe and make a yin-yang out of it; place the centire of one of the circles over the hole made at Oak Island; then find the spot that is in the second circle and start digging. A million pounds of something you will find. I know the location of the lost city of atlantis and I believe the treasure there was already found and is not being held somewhere in a very secure building. I am thinking; Area 51; where they either have this device; or; they can get to middle earth

    Well who would go though all that work to build such a pit and then just not put anything down there this must have took 100's of years just to dig and then put oak every 10 feet. There is obviously something down there, What I think is down there is probably like the holy grale or something that is never supposed to be found they say this is the most advanced vault that is pritty much impenetrable.

    funny thing is that with todays technolghy we should be able to dig as far as we want. and if back 100's of years ago someone is able to make this type of system dont you think if there was something down there we would have found it by now. if we can drill through mountains and go down for coal in mines we should easily be able to dig a pit. thats my thinking

    "40 feet below 2" ? 240 ft? Last trap is at 230? Ten feet people get to fucking work.
