I would love it if the twist was instead just that the pizza was really hot and would've burned engies mouth if he tried to eat it right after nuking it with tesla coils
Of course Engineer just has a massive power generator in his garage. Of course he prioritises making a pizza over helping his teammates deal with the robots that caused a power outage. Clinically insane man. Love him.
@@ChefPrownlos He canonically sawed his own hand off to replace it with the Gunslinger, and he greatly enjoys using his machinery to explode people. Just because he hides his, uh... "Eccentricities" well, doesn't mean that he's anywhere near the most normal.

I really like the use of giant mecha heavy here, it feels like Grey Mann with his robot army are largely overlooked by the community despite them having a big potential as common enemies for both mercenary teams. In most of the animations where they appear, robots play the role of some intimidating emotionless threats, but here, this Heavy is a cartoony iron giant, and that's great!
Amazing work! I love the design of the sets and the lighting. I especially like the giant switches Engineer flips, I think it fits with how some objects in TF2 are oversized because the mercs have different hand proportions.
That robot heavy ate the power lines just as I got to the final boss of a game in my Super Mann Co. Entertainment System. Lost all my save file progress
Engineer: Of course having a massive and super conplicated energy generator that hyperchsrges with storm electricity using a giant antenna in my garage that instead of using it to destroy heavy robot with super deadly electricity I use it to cook a pizza its totaly normal.
When he put the plate back down I was expecting the Spy to steal the pizza. The reality was much worse. Also to anyone out there who still heats up your pizza slice on the microwave, do it like this instead: 1) Heat up a frying pan on your stovetop on medium heat with nothing on it, not for too long 2) Add 1 tiny drop of butter or cooking oil in the center. very tiny, you don't want to make your pizza oily. 3) Place the slice 4) Get about 1 to 2 tablespoons of COLD WATER (no more, or the pizza gets soggy) 5) Place it on the EMPTY AREA of the pan. 6) Cover it with a LID and decrease the temperature of the stovetop. Let it simmer for about 1 to 2 minutes The bottom will be crunchy and the top will be smooth, melty and soft. And most importantly: THE PIZZA WILL BE FULLY HEATED UP, UNLIKE YOUR MICROWAVE DOES where it somehow heats up the plate but not the food in it.
This feels so realistic for the lore, Engineer goes on a entire side quest for some good pizza just because the power went off only for him to be called into action just as he gets to eat it, and ofc the pizza mutates
Pretty decent animation, ngl. I would maybe recommend improving the sound design, so it can be easily understandable *Instantly* what's happening. Example: in 0:13, you might have used a power break out sound to indicate that power went of, and something went wrong. With the sounds in the video, it looks like engi just turned off and then pissed off about it. Or in 0:22 you could have also used some power outage sound to the same reasons I explained earlier, but also to add some flare. But over all, the concept, the animation (bit choppy, but should get better with experience), the details (I liked how the Volt counter decreases in 1:17 :D), are all pretty good, and I enjoyed watching it. You earned a sub.
This is so impressive. All the custom made and in universe themed props are giving me whiplash from the random mixed props of Gmod animations that I'm used to seeing in most TF2 animations.
I actually could imagine Engineer's Pizza being a food item in TF2 like Heavy's Sandvich. Basically when he eats it he gets health points and can powerwalk.
Very GOOD ANIMATION I like how the giant heavy wasnt just shown for no reason, it did become a problem that engi had to help with From the pfp i thought you were Winglet
