Excellent review of the ABR, and the Honda Blackbird- the best adventure bike ever- got a mention. Nice to meet you guys and I'll see you there in 2025.
Awesome to meet you too Sir! Couldn't not mention the mighty Blackbird. We'll definitely grab a beer (or two) in 2025!
Top festival, well recommended for next year - with the knobblies on!
Absolutely! To many more!
Really looking forward to next year , will be my first so these videos are giving me plenty of good info beforehand 👌👍
Hope to see you there!
@@BikeMatters Absolutely, can’t wait👌
Really helpful - thanks for sharing guys!
Our pleasure!
Great review guys. 👍
Thanks mate!
Awesome vid guys. tickets booked for next year, and ill be on a GS 😄 Take care and all the best 🤘
Thanks for the comment! Hopefully see you there!
Cheers guys, first time this year for me and really looking forward to it.. Good tip on the early bird ticket but £69 add on bit to expensive imo.
May feel differently after this year lol
Thanks again. Very informative
Thank you mate! Hope you enjoy it as much as we did.
i got bollocked by the marshall for taking my bike to the toilets without a helmet a few times haha. i was just chaos. easily the best money ive spent on a festival in years. i smiled the whole time met some fantastic people. im getting tickets for next year before they sell out!
I can see that happening! 😂 Can't agree more, hope to see you there!
Good video. I managed to ride the Desert X, Caofen, Fantic, Voge 300, Ural (twice, such fun), and the Tuareg. But I travelled up on the Thursday so was able to get queuing very early Friday morning.
Excellent work getting around the manufacturers! Will you be attending next year? Thanks for the comment.
Yup, VIP tickets booked and will be heading up with Exeter Rider and a couple of mates.

Awesome, hopefully see you there!
Yup, going to be attending with a load of mates this time too. Going to be such fun! @@BikeMatters
Great video guys.. Never been to the ABR.. Love to go.. But following a replacement ankle for a metal one, I can't stand for too long, and the queue for test rides would be too excessive.. If I booked onto the VIP package can you book test rides for over the weekend?
Thanks for the comment. With your condition you may be able to win over a manufacturer if you do get there early doors, but as far as we were aware you had to wait in line on the day... Alternatively the Yamaha stand was within a tent with lots of seating around so could be worth a go!
Hi guys, I totally agree with your opinion on the tenere, what a bike. I loved it too.
I did the early doors so got to ride 7 different bikes in total.
I tried to book a test ride on Honda transalp but they cock up, so I ended up on a hornet.
Wow! what a surprise. it was easily the best bike i rode over the festival and was far better than cbr650r and probably is one of the best bikes that I have had the pleasure to ride.
Would I buy one?
No.
I love touring and my vstrom does it so well.
7 Bikes! That is awesome going. Thanks for the comment mate!
Would I be out place on mt07
Not at all, I was on the Hornet and we spotted quite a few non adventure bikes there. Even an S 1000 RR! Just maybe avoid the trails on an MT07, haha
If your really into adventure you could ride to the alps and go on the dirt track for less money than a weekend at the abr. Its all a bit artificial. If you like big crowds and have loads of spare cash go for it but to me its rip off .
It's absolutely shite you guys must be very new to traveling or on the pay roll. Rider training schools how to pack a bag beer in plastice cups after an hour queuing. Everyone trying to take your money and all run by road bikers playing on adventure bikes. My advice get away from all the bmw rich know it alls and get to the alps which you can do for less than the price of an abr ticket. It's all a bit cringe and gay. Be a nomad learn to do things without male bonding.
