B) Well-Ventilated Area: Make sure you're working in a well-ventilated space, preferably outdoors or in a room with lots of airflow.
C)Neutralizing Spills: Have baking soda on hand to neutralize any accidental spills.
D) Disposal: Dispose of the used acid solution responsibly by diluting it with water and neutralizing it with baking soda before discarding.
🧼Here’s a simple, step-by-step guide:
Gather Materials: You will need oxalic acid, water, a container (preferably plastic), gloves, safety goggles, a soft brush, and clean water for rinsing.
1)Prepare the Solution
In a well-ventilated area, mix 2 tablespoons oxalic acid with water in the crockpot 2/3 full. Stir until the acid is fully dissolved.
2)Soak
Place the rocks into the solution, ensuring they are fully submerged.
Let them soak for about 24 hours if using a bucket in the sun or 4 hours in a crockpot.
3)Scrub
Lightly if needed.
4)Rinse & Dry
Submerge them in a bucket of water with baking soda for 1 minute (like shown). Air dry.
