Great video I love my Leatherman tools but this seems like a good alternative for a lot of people

I have gotten a few Wave and now this Surge clone and the reason why yours holds onto regular bits, you have a defective hex. My Ozark Trail Multiforce has the same defect. I actually like it. My Surge clone sadly has a clean cut hex and bits fall out. After long use, my Multiforce defect eventually stopped holding onto bits, but I put a few magnets in it and I just use regular 1/4 bits now. I will probably do the same with my Surge clone and I will probably grind the 2 knife blades down to 3 inches, so if a cop happens to check it, I won't have any trouble. I definitely agree with you, I wish more multitools had T Shank holders. Being able to remove the file to sharpen the blades is amazing. The wire cutters puts Leatherman's new wire cutters to shame. My T shank holder sometimes opens when I open or close it. That's my only problem with this Surge clone.

I got the cheaper but driver version with non replaceable saw, less bits etc, served me well enough for some home improvement jobs, plier steel is soft thought, they got marred up quickly

I have the Swiss tech version and the grind is good and no wiggle anywhere except the t shank of course

Got mine but the locking mechanism on the blade doesn't engage unless you apply lots of pressure backwards when opening the blade and then it doesn't look fully engaged so not the best quality control which I guess is reflected in the price.

Ordered my bibury Friday be here Monday 🎉😊 I want a Surge and I might still get one. Just wanted to try this one first for less than half the price. I have a Rebar and I love it but a fast deployment knife is a big difference for not having to carry another knife

I think you'll be pretty happy with what you'll get. If not, please, let me know.

Don't try to tighten the pivot screws even if the tools are all floppy and you risk getting cut...cheap Chinese screw heads twist right off. Mine had loose tools right out the box and I ruined the thing immediately. Waiting for new screws to arrive now.

Where are you from? You have the exact same accent as me and actually sound like me. I swear it’s like listening to a recording of myself. Geez this is weird!

From what I can tell blade thickness on the cutting implements are the only thing these Hangzhou GreatStar Industrial Co are lacking in. Workmanship on all these clones seems to be on par with Leatherman. Steel quality I wouldn’t think is a problem for non professional use.
