So lovely. You make a quiet, yet strong argument for the Digitone as a meditative ambient instrument. Thank you for that, and for the music. I dearly love the sounds of Shallow Water, although I don't have one. What a beautiful, minimal toolset you have chosen for these works.
@aquietgarden Thank you, I am glad you like the music. And the Digitone is great for this kind of music, but it can also be different and scream out loud. I feel like, less is more somehow, but I am thinking about an analog friend for the Digitone, but I am not in a hurry.
Dreadbox Nymphes is very compact and it can give you the analog tones you miss. Moog mother-32 as mono synth. Mavis or 0-Coast on semi modular. Beautiful use of Digitone.

@@internalreality to be honest, the digitakt is mostly in the cupboard at the moment, because its flowing so well with the digitone at the moment. But I hope to find the time to get more into the digitakt in the next months. And I have to say that the songs so far are not Digitone only. The Digitone is the sound source, but effects with pedals and Plugins are always added inside ableton. Did you already hear my upload from yesterday?
Oh, that is already a while ago, but I think I was controlling some parameters of Ableton. Some parameters that are usefull for the particular Session.
The fairfield shallow water for sure. Maybe some sounds recorded through the chase bliss mood... Those are the only two pedals I use at the moment. But reverb + delay added in Ableton and maybe also some other Plugins but I not sure which ones exactly in this session.

I sold my digitakt after i got the Digitone because im not a fan of working with samples. Its amazing machine though and was my first elektron box

how do you connect digitone and ableton ? because i can connect but i have always pops and click
@@brunodorigo8321 did you do it via Overbridge? If so, maybe check the sample rate in Settings in Ableton. I think it should be 256.
What are you doing with the CC Value ? its for ableton ?
