like Fr fr, your comment made me check the subscriber count and views on the other videos, i could have sworn they where way bigger. really great produced and clear without being oversimplified so i guess i just assumed without checking that it was really popular. i'm sure it will blow up otherwise the algorithm really do be trippin
Thanks dude! I spend a lot of time on all those extra bits and am steadily collecting quite a health custom SFX library. I will definitly release as a sample pack of them all at some point. ✌️😊
Yea the EMU is such a beast and it really is my pride and joy. It just makes me happy to have one even if it's turned off whilst I work on other things :)
@@groovining I still say there is a lack of software emulation for hardware samplers. A simple well designed scalable software emulation of EMU would be amazing.
Cheers Jez! I put a lot into this - was able to buy a new green screen thanks to the support I get from patreon. I think it's gunna really help take these video's to the next level 🚀✌️
Cheers again mate! It actually turned out pretty good. Took me a whole heap of takes to nail the performance as it was quite tricky with the timing of everything. ✌️😊
Not gunna lie I was quite proud of that one. Took me about an hour and a half to get the recording right tho. Easy to slightly miss the timing on those faders. Would be a great technique to resample and comp. 😊✌️
gotta love the ability to create variation on existing sound!! well done on your experimentations!! this is something i do with samples,... having a maschineJam is perfect for triggerring such events.... provided you program the midi triggering, you can have such events at your finger tips... for any sample/pattern
Thanks mate! Yea the drum one is such an effective techique for fills even without all the extra FX stuff I was doing. Can't wait to test it out more with other breaks - once you have that template you can just use it over and over again. Nice - the maschine Jam looks cool for Midi triggering like that. I know you can map the pattern triggers to a midi controller which is something I've been wanting to do for a while. ✌️😊
Holy hell dude you made two bangers here. When are you gonna be getting them on streaming services? This video has made me realize that i have an AKAI MPK mini but still haven't bothered to set up any of the knobs. I've never done it and it all just seems like a hassle. But this video shows how useful it could be. Just a side thing, but i really wish there was a way to assign each pad on my akai to be a different instrument. I suppose it could be possible by making anew instrument and loading all the samples into that single one, but i am a very lazy individual. Anyway, this video was great and had two great tunes.
Yea I actually really like the house tune in the last one but never really finished off these tracks. I guess they'll just kinda exist in these projects for ever but I also quite like that :) Setting up midi stuff is actually really easy in Renoise. It's actually great for all the midi mapping etc. You could do that assign pad thing in a number of different ways but it would take a far bit of effort. The easiest way like you said would be to copy all the instruments to over to one and span them up the keyboard. The other would be to do it via midi and make the AKAI send each pad down a different midi channel and route them to different instruments in Renoise. Glad you enjoyed the vid anyways mate 🌴🚀😊
1:00 I've been using this technique since I can't remember when, especially with mouse scroll. It was my secret weapon :P probably aphex twin applied the same thing earlier
how you liking the faderfox brother? looks as close to elektron endless encoders as you can get with the daw to me? how you’re well g always appreciate your candor 🤙
Thanks Ben - always appreciate your comments mate! I love the FaderFox. I've had it for a while now buts its fantastic. Small form factor so it dosent get in the way & you get used to the small sliders. The faders/Knobs are so easy to assign and setup. It's expensive but I never need to look elsewhere for midi stuff. Especially for Renoise the 8 macros per instrument align perfectly with the FaderFox. You could potentially set up multiple pages of macros for all the different things. 😊✌️
It's a mystery to me why your channel hasn't blown up yet and the Renoise arranger should get an award ,it's a piece of art all by itself
Fo'real
Cheers legends ✌️&❤️

I agree, I'm an oldskool 90's producer and this channel is gold.
This is really amazing stuff. You’re a legit Renoise educator
Cheers Ninjilla! I love how creative Renoise is. I'm always stumbling across cool things I can do in the program. 😊✌️
at this stage, renoise should be paying you....renoise GOAT!
Yes! 💰💰💰 = 😊
as always - these transition background noises drizzled throughout are incredible. would pay for a little library of interlude sounds
Thanks dude! I spend a lot of time on all those extra bits and am steadily collecting quite a health custom SFX library. I will definitly release as a sample pack of them all at some point. ✌️😊
Butter. Absolute pure unadulterated butter!
Haha cheers beautifulcaramelman! I enjoyed putting this one together 😊✌️
5:26 Very very sneaky :)
E5000 ultra, you my buddy now! Cheapest way to get into the emu goodness , one word chords !
Damn that sampler looks good now❤

Very nice tricks indeed, turned the DAW into a musical instrument itself. 😊
For real! Cheers mate - just trying to think outside the box & in itself turned the box into an instrument 🤓
this is genuinely the coolest renoise video ive seen yet.
Appreicate that friend! I was quite proud of that last technique - love how creative Renoise is 🚀✌️
Man this is some next level shit. Amazing video. Got to be up there with your best 🙏
Cheers Jez! I put a lot into this - was able to buy a new green screen thanks to the support I get from patreon. I think it's gunna really help take these video's to the next level 🚀✌️
Really dig the style of your videos. Thumbs up!
Thanks mate! Steadily getting there with the production/editing etc now. Excited for what’s to come this year :) 🚀
Awesome, thanks for sharing!
No problem mate - thanks for the comment. Glad you like the vid :) 🥷🚀
That’s really mind blowing! So nice tricks and tracks! Video editing is also top!
Cheers Cantiidub! Steadily levelling up my music & editing now over the last few years. Excited to see where I can take it all :)
LOVE that hack 2 track
Cheers again mate! It actually turned out pretty good. Took me a whole heap of takes to nail the performance as it was quite tricky with the timing of everything. ✌️😊
GOLD!!
Cheers mate! Glad you enjoyed this one :) ✌️🚀
Wow 😲
That's genius!
Cheers Anton! Put on my thinking cap for this one 🤓✌️
MODULAR RENOISE LET'S GOOOOO
Renoise is the best! So creative what you can do in there 😊✌️🚀
Hack 3 is pure genius.
Thanks Bob! I was proud of that one. Took me a minute to get that whole things working 🚀✌️
you do come up with some interesting tricks, never thought of doing that with the transpose.
The Transpose one is pretty insane for fills. I'm 100% gunna test this one out more in my next track 😊✌️
That 3rd one is crazy
Not gunna lie I was quite proud of that one. Took me about an hour and a half to get the recording right tho. Easy to slightly miss the timing on those faders. Would be a great technique to resample and comp. 😊✌️
very, very clever stuff :) nice!
Cheers mate. Had fun making this one. Renoise is a very creative DAW to work in which I why I love it :)
Wow…..what the…..? I can understand you have been arrested!😉 This is really next level, thanks mate for another excellent tutorial!
Cheers Ledge! haha they got me :) Was a fun one - back to 90's jungle now 😊 ✌️
this is brilliant!
Cheers mate! was a fun one - went deep down the rabbit hole on this 😊✌️
great vids
Cheers mate - glad you enjoy them :) ✌️
Ear candy for days man, congrats
Thanks Janesta! Yea I saved away that template for the future. Renoise is great for creating macro's like that. 😊✌️

@@groovining i did a video with the maschine jam and the variations i get from the shaperbox2 plugin.... have a look at it if you get time!
great stuff

genious
Cheers David! I pretty proud of these ones not gunna lie. Espeically the Hack 3 - took me a while to figure it all out in Midi Bome etc. 🤓✌️
That DAW look scary haha
Haha its a step into the future or the past depends how you look at it.😊 🚀✌️
Beautiful, can you make a logic pro setup for this technique?
Not sure this this possible in Logic sadly but I'll have a look :) ✌
bruv don’t you know every hacker wears shades
I know! I looked for some lol but didn't have any at my flat 😊
1:00 I've been using this technique since I can't remember when, especially with mouse scroll. It was my secret weapon :P probably aphex twin applied the same thing earlier
I'm sure Aphex was doing all kinds of crafty things! Its such a simple trick for the results you get. Resampling is the key to all life! 😊✌️
hahhahah the first hack is exactly what i do to make glitch idm sounds
Such a sneaky trick :)

Third track is really nice, wtf
Thanks Rick! Took my a whilee to nail that take jesus. Fun techniques tho 😊✌️
Haxor
is this how hitori tori uses it?
No but I have worked out his technique - I'm saving it for a future vid but he is essentially assigning pattern triggers to a midi controller. 😊✌️
