3D printed Tony Stark's third prototype of the Iron Man helmet. Wearable, motorized helmet with LED eyes.
It was my biggest 3D printing project so far, I`m happy with how this turned out.

This was amazing! Just curious, have you looked into a palm/orbital sander? Using one with 100 grit will really help wipe those layer lines away and smooth it out much quicker and easier. I found mine for like $30 and it is game changing. Fantastic work my guy!

Thank you! The funny thing is, I do have a palm sander but I thought it would be too aggressive.This way maybe I have a better control. Next time I'll definitely try it!

Nice build. Is this Helmet wearable for an adult? I’m 6.4 / 6.5. Big head =)
If not, is it possible to scale the file up. What is a good percentage to start with? I can imagine some parts like screws won’t fit anymore after upscaling. 🤔

Sure, I printed without any modifications. But if you have any concerns you should print a sizing ring first. also there is step by step instruction which is really helpful. (Don't know if it helps but my head circumference is 59cm )

I know how it is... I have been in your situation than I bought a cheap Chinese entry level printer which is really affordable.

When I was building my CNC machine for 10 "small" pieces they charged me around 60 dollars so I decided to buy a cheap printer with 140 dollars. Now I think it was one of my best decision 😂...
