I think Eren suffered the most. Levi was never there to protect. Eren lost the loved ones befor his eyes being helpless. I think that is more of a burden. But than again, Levi loses every single person he knows time and time again. Eren still has most of his friends.
This was so eye opening. It really brings out the story line and back story of Levi and shows his true character. The time and talent put into this video really shows and you deserve more views!
Levi is the best character in AOT, destined to out live his comrades because he's too strong, and burdened to give their sacrifices, their fight, their lives meaning. Levi says something in season 1 to the extent of "The only thing you're allowed to do is not regret the choice you make". He tells that to Eren, but in the context of Levi, think about it... it's a way for him too not carry the weight of the world on shoulders. His squad was decimated against The Female Titan, but he easily defeated her. He doesn't allow himself to think, if only I had just (insert situation here). When Historia punches Levi, he smiles. Why? Because it may be the first time, his comrades went into to battle, and all survived. So for just a moment he doesn't have to live with regret. After the battle in Shiganshina, in the end Levi chose Armin. The night before the mission, he heard Armin's dream, and saw how much hope was imbued in it. So when the time came, he gave his closest friend a peaceful death, and Levi will carry on Erwin's fight... Lastly, in the battle in the forest, 30 of his comrades were turned into titans. Maybe the first time in 4 years, has Levi had to fight titans knowing they are his comrades, his people, fellow Eldians. So when he see's Varis, there's a part of him that believes a piece of their humanity may still be their... but Levi can't die, not yet. His fight isn't over, he must keep pushing forward, even if it means killing 30 Scout Titans, to stop Zeke. And we haven't even gotten into the Manga portion...✌️
