Have owned mine for a little over a year now, can't imagine replacing it with anything else quite frankly. The performance is truly incredible, no matter how many times I put the pedal down it still puts a smile on my face. And, the handling is stunning for something that weighs ~5200 pounds. I really can't imagine wanting anything else in a daily driven "practical" car. One interesting note re: the exhaust - in sport mode it is apparently straight pipes after the cats, and you can tell in the way it sounds a bit I think. With how cheap some examples are on the used market, it might be the most amount of car for the least amount of money you can buy right now. I paid up for one with every option and individual colors, but even at that price point it was, IMO, a stunning value compared to whatever else could be bought for the same money.
@@nigels6786 Maintenance costs because of required service add up after year 4 if one drives >12k miles annually. I usually buy a year or two old used vehicles, low mileage and move on to the next. Clean 1 owner vehicles that are a couple years old are awesome for about 2 yrs.

Mike, I have to say that I love the fact that you are still doing the “bald sweetish man in the trunk” bit. I love it when you throw it back to the good old days. I love your stuff man!
I cant wait for the 2025 Mercedes S class with an inline 4 and 27 tiny electric motors. I mean that's really going to be the S class that people have always lusted over.
I just checked out the DEALERSHIP because of the video. It was sold. I always like his reviews. Like the ones I did in the 80's and 90's. For magazines here and Germany
What a coincidence that you just uploaded a video of the 7 series while I’m literally editing my short from the brand new 7 series I drove today. One of the most comfortable and one of the best interiors overall ever. Obviously the exterior design is… other than that, what a car! Also, the M760i, legend.
They should of simply called it an M7 and gave it a 7.0 V12 with 700bhp. The M760i harks back to the old days of the e28 M535i aka the "poor man's" M5.
I'm generally a 5/X5 series person but I would always make an exception for a V12, hopefully I will still be able to experience it before eh.. "brave new world" regulations outlaw everything in automotive industry...
I don't understand why they would drop the V12. They still have to build them for Rolls-Royce. They also should have utilized it in the 8-Series and X7.
A luxury car needs to have a V12, it is just such a unique motor that delivers power in a totally different way than a V6 or a V8. It is really sad that these wonderful motors are going away :/
@good luck I usually change cars every 1 or 2 years but during Covid I was driving a 750i and M850i convertible and flipped them, I made 10k on 750i and 13k on M850i but when I went to re-order the 750i price skyrocketed so I ended up with a 740i and I just picked up a 2023 Sport Platinum Escalade

Why is that stupid to remove the V12 badge......??? I think it looks out of place there high on the rear qtr panel? Looks so much clearer with no badging at all!
Oil changes and brakes are much higher than a regular car, but its not horrible. I have a 750Li, oil chsnge is like $200. When I had a E43, brakes were like $1500. You definitely need a warranty if you can get one.
The age where engine size instead of screen size still mattered. Times that are gone forever...
When did screen size ever matter? hahahaha your funny..
Tell me one person that buys a car because of screen size

Love the car reviews. Great niche. Older used cars for everyday people. Great business plan
Crazy performance for the money. But running costs might not be for everyday people..
@mrguy5069 facts I recently saw one for about 60k and I couldn't help but think how reliable are these things

The 760i was and is a dream car for me. I’d have it over the new 7 series for sure and these can be had for less than half what they were new
Will you like to pay emission tax for such a massive engine?

I have the first ever BMW V12 7 Series. E32. The M70 V12 so smooth at idle you can balance a coin on the engine upright on its side. Even revving it.
