There is a good interview with President Moon and BTS. The President said that he and the Secretary General (of the UN) could give hundreds of speeches and not reach the same audience or have the same impact that one BTS speech would have. This was why he appointed them - to amplify the message.
Yay! Finally, someone pointed out how all seven were all in office wear but each had their own individual twist. How perfect was Jimin in just the white shirt alone, with the sleeves rolled up, looking fresh as a daisy... while V was (of course!) in the full 3-piece suit, being the classic old soul he is. Hobi and Suga (SOPE!) were twinsies, with Hobi adding a beret on top for added sunshine. Meanwhile, the eldest (Jin) and the youngest (JK) were kinda twinsies too, with Jin keeping his classic jacket buttoned while JK's jacket was looser and had no lapels. And then there's President/CEO Namjoon looking like the big boss/natural-born-leader that he is with just the tie and vest (American vest, UK waistcoat, haha), and shirt sleeves rolled up. It's just so them. All in the details. :P

Me too. I'm very proud and happy for them. I think they are the first celebrity and boy band to have spoken in the UN in their native tongue, which makes it all the more special. You should also watch their interview with the SK President.

So funny a background dancer in this PTD performance said Jimin said hi to him when passing by , he was so surprised and thrilled .
This same background dancer also said BTS is so kind and sweet , would bow and thank all the dancers and crew after and would hype them up before practices. He mentioned how rare that is, especially in the entertainment industry.

Jimin was speaking without looking at cue card as he did before for Youth Day with President Moon.
For UN speech BTS literally arrived from Seoul and in some few hours recorded PTD and gave their speeches. Jimin said he got up an hour earlier at 3am to learn his speech so it was more authentic.
Btw UN building had exact 7 doors on top from which BTS came out for PTD dance.
Also a must watch is a really good interview with BTS and President Moon after the UM speech. Namjoon and Jimin were really good in that. I particularly admired Joon for talking about mysogny. Jimin talked about purpose in life.
