I totally get what y’all said about having a song in your head all day. I can be at work and start out of nowhere singing in my head a BTS song. Absolutely love these guy. JK is my bias and V and Jimin are my wreckers. I love RM, Jin, J-Hope and Suga as well though.
BST was released in late 2016 !! because they performed in award shows and at end of year award shows is where they got their first daesangs. also jimin was always main dancer !!
This is what make bts different, their budget goes for art to send a message not only lambos or phones like propaganda usually in kpop acts.
The opening verse by Jimin and the image of Jimin set the tone of the song.
They are exceptional, rap line who sings and vocal line who can all rap. The video is full of metaphors, over the mirror at the end there is a quote from Also sprach Zarathustra by NIetzsche, then there are referencing to the painter Bosch and writer Herman Hesse. Oh and it also has a reference to the Bangtan Universe with those lilies.

JK was a rapper but he has ALWAYS been the Main vocalist, center of the group dancers and part of the dance line... even though he’s the youngest and was in middle school when they started lol that kids star power is strong and he’s a grown ass man now 😂 they’re all so multitalented ... it’s insane... every member is an All Rounder for sure !!!

I don’t think you should keep asking your friends to pick a favourite from just watching music videos. That’s too shallow. For BTS, you just have to know their personalities first. ARMYs are all like that. Individual member’s qualities inspire us in different ways.
How would it be shallow if they’re reacting to a music video, they could like a particular members voice or dance. Simply looking at pictures, for sure is considered shallow, but I’m not sure that someone has to see their personalities to have a favourite. After all they’re artists and although we as army’s love who they are as people, their musicality should be what draw people in.

the song Blood Sweat and Tears is not about love. You don't need to take the guys' texts literally, they are much more symbolic. This is a song about entering adulthood, the loss of innocence, purity as such.

BTS has been popular since 2016 after receiving the first daesang. It is in America that they have become popular since 2017, and all over the world much earlier.

I agree that RM is a brilliant writer but all of the rap line contributed to this song. Those 3 write most of the song. And the vocal line are contributing more and more. So please don't contribute everything to 1 member, as amazing as he is.
