I always enjoy watching your genuine reactions to any BTS’s videos and this one is no exception. The fact that once they arrived in New York Saturday night Sept. 18th after a 14-hour flight from Korea they did this performance inside the UN building at 1am Sunday and returned early morning to finish the outside portion of it. The weather was so nice and the performance was so perfect for the occasion. The 7- nickel plated doors where BTS members came out of the UN building were donated by the Canadian Government and on the exterior of each one there are four panels symbolizing Peace, Truth, Justice and Fraternity. The construction of the UN building and its premises were completed in 1951, exactly 7 decades ago. It just feels so fortuitous and destined.
I still can't believe they danced through the UN. I watched at like 3 or 4 in the morning and I was so hyped! INSANE. Perfect song to dance through the UN during a global pandemic. Everyone looked amazing as always but, Jimin with the rolled up sleeves 😍 😍
i'm incredibly proud of them too!! and i loved their speech as well! they've spoken in UN 2 times beforehand but now they spoke as ' special presidential envoy for future generation and culture" !! they always spoke for the young generation since their debut song and i can't believe the amount of growth they have achieved 😭

The 7 doors was donated by Canada when building was under construction in the 50’s. I believe they are brass & copper. Their are 3 or 4 words on either side of doors….truth, integrity & peace. Don’t quote me on this. I have to look it up again.
