I started reading Tarot in '93. I started at 14 years old. I have been reading for 21 years. The tarot is only perception until what you seen is within hindsight. The straw burns a little short with divination tools. The VII of Pentacle to me represents a male and his money, just like the IX of Pentacles is a female and her money. The VIII of cup to me represents leaving something behind, yet taking something with you (Learning from an experience) The secret is, the man is actually carrying one of the cups, where one is missing. The Knight of Sword combined with the card, means a walking away from a troubling situation and learning from it. The Devil to me represents bad motives from someone around you usually. Everyone reads them differently. Thanks for the video.
About the 8 of cups i feel the very same way. I'm just learning tarot and u are the first person I see mention this in my quest to learn about each card. This is what I feel about this card. He seems to have taken one with him on his journey.
This was the best Celtic Cross lesson that I have ever watched! You are so expansive & inspiring. I now have more of a grasp of how the cards play together. Thank you immensely for sharing yourself with the world.
Brilliantly Executed! How you explained I was able to memorise very quickly! I usually find this difficult, however your examples made this very easy....Thank you so very much! Much Blessing 😘
Hey everyone, the greatest success that ive had was by following the Numerology Secret Blueprint (just google it) - without a doubt the no.1 resource that I've followed.
Thank you so much for this! For some reason the Celtic Cross has been the hardest spread for me to wrap my head around. Your explanation finally helped it click for me and it’s no longer intimidating.
I know that this was and older post, but I wanted to thank you. I just got into Tarot and feel like this is a super helpful explaination. I really appreciate this. Thank you
I see this reading showing a bit of fear of moving on, perhaps clinging to an outgrown or past situation. The Devil and Judgement showing that you would be forced to make this change whether you want to or not. I love your deck, it's the same one that I use ;)
I thought this was a very good reading in alot of ways. Not every reading is going to be a positive one and I thought this was a good example for people to see. She did a great job of explaining the cards and positions. Ultimately, most readings have alot of free will and are used to see potential obstacles and how to deal with it, such as this reading. Really good example to show because her energy remained positive. A "good" reading may never materialize while a "bad" one can be minimalized.
This video has helped me so much, not only with setting up the spread but also with interpreting the cards beyond the "black and white" definitions of the cards. Thanks for this video!
Focusing the reading on the present card is a great bit of advice I hadn't considered before. I often get hung up on the future oriented positions when doing readings without giving proper context to how they relate to the here and now.
I'm a reader myself, and I don't know what was going on in your life back in July of 2012, but the way I would read these cards for you if I had laid them out for you is that you were thinking about ending a love relationship because you were worried about loosing control and worries about money. The only card that confuses me is the knight of swords that covers or challenges you. It either means that you don't trust your own ability to meet the challenge of your fears to retain control of your own persona or that you are really not very good with money and fear that challenging your love will kill the relationship. I see all the important basics in your life as wonderful and your environment and family and friends couldn't be better. The devil is just caution and fear of change. Judgement as the outcome is possitive if you get your place in the world and negative if it is fear of the unknown.
Excellent tutorial! The Celtic Cross was the first spread I learned. However, I was never comfortable with it and haven’t seen a clear explanation of how to read and relate to it. This has opened up this spread to me.
Excellent video!!! I have watched so many videos to try to understand the Celtic cross but they all left me confused or overwhelmed with too much information. I just came across your video for first time and FINALLY I understand the Celtic cross and how to do it. Very clear. Concise. My nervous system could integrate this information. I cannot thank you enough!!!
Hello, I'm trying to learn divination. Here's what I intuit from this spread: 1. Self card: You are walking away from accumulated passions, walking away from your feelings. Willing to ignore past hopes and dreams. 2. Obstacles: You are obstructed by haste, calculation, the need to conquer others. Or, your thoughts are being dominated by the will of another. 3. Subconscious: You are eager to become the master of some new passion. However, you lack training and discipline. 4. Conscious Thoughts / Behaviors: You are motivated by money and the idea of being prosperous. You are willing to work hard, although your work may not be motivated by intellectual endeavors. 5. Past: Your past is marked by generosity. There are people in your past who have treated you very kindly. In turn, you have echoed this behavior by also being generous. 6. Future: You are tormented by dreams. You harbor false ideas which cause you pain. These ideas are not real, they are phantoms in the night. Your future pain is self created, illusory, but nevertheless, it is quite real. 7. The Self at Work: You are untrained or lack education, but are dedicated to the mastery of your art. There is great potential for guidance, but at times you are childish and must learn restraint (both hands on the Wand.). 8. House: You are surrounded by reveling maidens. You all brandish your passions in unison. I see a keen link to the devil card, here in the form of unbridled passions. 9. What's Crackin': The devil? Yikes. You must remove the yoke of your vices. 10. Your Future: You've got the brains to tell right from wrong. The woman's arms shield a child, but the mans arms are passive and showing that he does not have anything to offer, can only wait to be judged. The child stands innocently. We are not children! We must act with prudence. Sometimes, i pick my nose when I drive.
I believe this man has a lot of creativity and he is full of emotions and very attached to his family … so much so that the 6 of pentacles shows he has been active support to his extended family too.. and since it got too much to him he wants to walk away in search of internal peace.. away from d greed and wants of everyone … He absolutely has nightmares abt all this past from time to time .. however he wants to start anew .. he is passionate about this new venture … and he is celebrating his victory over his emotional turmoil.. the devil card warns him not to fall again in the trap of excessive charity or too much worldly attachment … and judgement card tells him if he pays heed to devils advice he shall attain ultimate salvation ❤️
She provided help to her friends, advised and supported them. She also did some self realisation and underwent mental growth. Nevertheless the pure soul felt being tied down. Now this pure individual is being summoned to free herself and without any fear or remorse. She should respond to this appeal, for she MUST develop herself mentally.
@@justice576 some readers just don't use reversals. I used to but I don't anymore, I started getting all reversals or mostly reversals and iy was annoying. I take into consideration the cards around it and can usually tell what its telling ne
Amazing video and what I love is that when you were making it you could hear the nervousness in your voice when the negative cards were flipped but now to see your have SO MANY views and have helped so many people you can tell that the anxiety and shackles of fear and negativity that the devil card showed you were unaware you were putting your self in have now been relieved. The angle called you to really judge how these things were serving you and to rebirth yourself so that you can walk away from the cups at the beach. I think the Knight was saying not to force the journey like you mentioned! You did an amazing job and I’m so happy to see your videos receive so much positive feedback! It helped me so much and finally made sense of a spread that was intimidating at first but now totally easy to approach and so helpful!! You are amazing!!! Thank you!
I had a very strong feeling about this reading and felt that the Knight of Swords was a very significant card in the entire reading. I may be completely wrong but I had the strong feeling that somebody in your life was blocking your path, especially with the nine of swords and the Devil. The Judgement card felt as though there would be a very clear realisation about a situation in your life that would enable you to move on. Would be very interested to hear if this made sense for you.
I was glad to see your wonderful explanation of the Celtic Cross using the traditional descriptions. The traditional spread has always made the most sense to me. Maybe because this was the one I learned first and have used by far the most. When summarizing the entire spread, another thing I always do is look at the preponderance of the weightier major arcana. Your presentation as always, was very enjoyable.
Thank you so much! This was incredibly helpful. My old way of interpreting this spread was so much less helpful, clear and informative. This is so useful and I got a really meaningful spread by following your advice. Thanks!
This video was very helpful, I've been trying to use this spread for a long time, I've now been been doing tarot for over five years now, and I've been doing a three card spread or making my own spreads. This one is the best I've seen so far. It's just connecting the cards together, and knowing what the places mean where the cards sit..I will have to watch this video a few times, to really get to know it. Many thanks.
I enjoyed your video. I'm surprised you uploaded it, but because you did it shows that you have great integrity as a person. I did my own reading and found wonderful news - something very much to look forward to (love and success) and that I have been worrying unnecessarily - I got the message 'negative thinking creates negative outcomes... so start thinking positively and let the river flow - stop pushing it'. :) Thank you .
Reallly loved this. Lay out. So similar to what I am going through but I. Have strong faith some of those cards can magically be switched. Along the way for good and (Happiness) 😊
Thank you for this video. This is basically my very first tutorial on tarot cards. I haven't learned the cards themselves yet. I"m about to start learning two cards a day. What I saw from your spread though was that you were not happy with your financial situation (you wanted to earn much more money than you did, card #4) and decided to start doing something new with full force (#1 & 2). However, it didn't go well and you got all discouraged and disappointed (card #6) The devil card told you that you got fixed on the big money idea a bit too much and it clouded your current/present time decision to "move on". And the card #10 told you that you're going to look at the big money idea differently: you'd put your passion to what you love to do on the first place and that will bring you a true satisfaction (as opposed to satisfaction from the bid money). Am I at least tiny bit close? :)
Comment Part : Hi Kate, thx for that, yesterday I fell on a deck. I had bought 2 years ago, intuitively, like drawn to it. While I never was interested in Tarot nor earned a deck, somethign told me to buy it. So I did and placed it on a shelve. Yesterday, I need a calm evening far from computers and people! so spent my evening reading the book, looking at the cards (I was amazed how the major arcania depicts the mental steps of life, I could even approximately guess where I was)
I just did this one, my first tarot reading.. Very helpful video by the way. The results a bit grimmer than I had hoped but easy enough to avoid. Thanks.
I really enjoy your videos. I really like your approach to reading the cards. I've had a couple sets of tarot cards for several years now and never really tried to understand how to read them without a book. While I feel like I still need guidance on the meanings of some of the cards, mostly the court cards, I am now really trying to read the cards by what I see in the picture and what it says to me. Thank you so much for the guidance you provide!
Thank you for posting this! I'm just getting into Tarot and most of the books I've seen on how to read the cards make the spreads seem hopelessly complicated. But your description was so succinct and to the point, I think I can do it now!
Thank you Surma :) That's good to know my explanation of this spread is easy to understand. Tarot doesn't have to be complicated! Happy Tarot Reading, Kate
***** Thanks for the reply! By the way, what's your opinion on so-called Oracle Card decks? I've found they typically have less cards to work with than Tarot decks, even if they make up for it with high quality materials and beautiful artwork. This lack of card stock sometimes makes me feel I'm getting repeat messages when I try to do spreads with them. Have you had similar experiences?
Hi Jake - I randomly draw cards to put down. The major arcana all have labels and the ones that don't are the minor arcana - those are numbered. Most tarot decks come with a little booklet that gives the card meanings.
Comment part 2: Well, after this interesting voyage, this morning I draw my first spread very simple, past, present, future and asked a question about a project I am working on . Wow!, that was incredible! the cards were so accurate (past and present). For the future, we'll see ;-) probably a little different because I understand better the present now. I am working on getting ready to make my first Celtic Spread (hence me watching this vid), I can't wait!
Thanks for this! When I did a celtic spread for myself I got the devil in the same position as you, thanks for the explanation! I also got the page of cups, page of wands and 7 of pentacles but in different positions
WOOOOW! 1) The High Priestess 2) 10 of Pentacles 3) The Moon 4) Ace of Cups 5) The Hanged Man 6) Justice 7) 5 of Swords 8) 7 of Swords 9) The Empress & The Emperor 10) Death/Rebirth & 3 of Pentacles Makes perfect sense!
Kate, as this reading was almost 6 years ago it seems everything in this reading has already happened, so let me tell you what these cards really mean. The 8 of cups, you are looking for something missing in your life, so much so, that you are willing to turn your back on all you have you have, you are willing to leave a person you have been in a long term relationship with which for some reason has become stagnant, hence the 7 of pentacles. The person you are willing to risk it all for is the knight of swards who has suddenly come into your life, sweeping you off your feet, however you now find out you are pregnant (the page of cups, unexpected pregnancy with a soul partner). The 6 of pentacles indicted a promotion or wage rise (the recent past position, so just happens you find out you are pregnant, which is a worry hence the 9 of swards, lying in bed wondering what to do, to keep the baby or not. You decide to keep it and she is born (Aries, Leo or Sagittarius, page of wands) . So now we get to the 3 of cups, indication birth and a celebration combined, self realization this is where your future lies, being there but not quite happy about it. So now we have the devil card, divorce from your long term relationship person. If you are still in this situation and wondering if you should leave him or not, the last card is telling you he is your twin flame and the two of your are better together than apart ( Judgement) If you still have to change your mind, you can he will take you back, he loves you and always will. Kate, whoever taught you how to read the tarot I can tell you is way off, however keep trying you will get it one day., Mike
Great explanation tks Kate. Really encouraging spread there to say keep with it, keep learning new things and drive with yr creativity and passion, but take it one step at a time don't go rushing in on things allow the changes to naturally happen and don't get hung up if they don't immediately show results.
i wasn't referring to the order i just trying to point out that the announcement of the page card of cups was full... and the 3 cup was there which usually means announcement and the feeling was pregnant
Thank you, even with all the instructions I was really confused but after watching your guide doing it step by step I managed it. I'm completly a novice at reading so making selective guesses I was able to understand the cards to some degree. To be honest been my first reading, ir got me almost worried of how right it seemed to be. I figured I did well for a first time. Especially with the third card been VI of cups(Not reversed)
Thank you so much for all your tutorials. I'm in the process of learning and am doing simple spreads right now but can't wait to learn more. I love the sound of the birds in the background :-)
great video. I am just a beginner (first time doing this) and you helped a lot to know what positioned card means what and how to relay it to other cards. VERY HELPFUL :) Thanks,
the eight of cups was in your other teaching, and the 9 or swords so i think it is for me too, since I "randomly" saw both of these...I am leaving something..ty!.
THANK YOU!! By far the BEST in depth explanation of Celtic Cross and how to pull it all together. I can’t thank you enough. I took notes while translating my own reading and it’s in my journal now for reference. Excellent , subscribed! 😊...curious, I had the feeling a man was going to bring you some unpleasantness, possibly romantic involvement that went sour? Just my own intuition. Did that happen? You don’t need to answer , just the feeling I got..a guy taking advantage of your kind nature. I hope not because your one amazing lady who deserves all the best!
I'm so happy you found this helpful :) And thanks for subscribing! I did this reading quite a few years ago, but I'm with the same man so I don't think anything unpleasant happened around this time.
the seven of pentacles is a sign of working very hard for your money and he's looking down on the ground because his desire for money is not being noticed for his hard work ;he wants a new job..but the seven makes me think he's lucky and if he's thinking of applying for something new he should .
Thank you so much! This was very helpful. I like your interpretations and you are a natural Teacher! I've subscribed and can't wait to see more of your vids!
Thank you for explaining this so easily! I get it now. This was the best at explaining the celtic spread! A thumbs up for sure. I have three questions. What if the a few of the cards are upside down due to the way it was shuffle, and does it mean anything? Is it OK to do 3 possible outcomes instead of 1? Final question, what if a card appears twice in the future position abd regardless of position when you do a celtic spread and a 3 card spread? :) ty so much!! You got yourself a new subscriber!
I'm so glad you found this helpful :) If a card is reversed you can choose to read it reversed (which has a different meaning than if it's right side up) or just turn it so it's right side up (some readers - like myself- don't read reversed cards). For more info on reversals see my blog post: www.daily-tarot-girl.com/2013/06/29/how-to-read-tarot-cards-reversed/ Sure, you can do 3 outcomes, but oh my god that's convoluted! (I've done that though if I didn't like the first card I got!) If you get the same card in the same position in multiple readings I would say pay attention to that! Seems like you keep getting a similar message from your readings! Cheers, Kate
Can you make a comment on the steps prior to the spread? Did you ask a question first (I assume) or did you just lay them out and read? What other first steps are involved before you lay the cards into the cross? Shuffling how many times? Any thought processes during shuffling etc ?
Hi Johnny - whether or not you ask a question before you lay the cards out is up to you. For this reading, I don't think I asked a particular question, so it was more of a "general" reading. Before a reading I always: 1. Clear my deck energetically by knocking on the deck once 2. shuffle as many times as I want - until I feel I'm ready to lay the cards out 3. As I am shuffling, I am thinking of my question or what I would like to get out of my reading. If you want a step by step walk through of this process, check out my free audio download on my website: www.daily-tarot-girl.com/free-tarot-goodies/ - I walk you through how to do a one card reading for yourself. Hope that helps you :) Cheers, Kate
Yes it does inform on the process. Thank you Kate. I am taking a masters level psychology class on symbolism and the tarot is a large focus. Though we have different ideas as to why you have those three steps above it helps a great deal. Thanks for taking the time to respond.
Thank you, thank you, thank you! This has shed light on so many questions that I have as a beginner. :) Will definitely remember this when doing my next spread
I just did a reading on myself of the Celtic cross and the question i asked is: will my marriage survive? Card one: 5 of pentacles card two 9 of pentacles card 3 6 of pentacles card 4 5 of wands card 5 knight of pentacles card 6 5 of cups reserved card 7 7 of swords card 8 Ace of cups card 9 high priestess card 10 king of wands most number is 5
I have watched and tried to study so many of theses spreads and u my dear have by far surpassed them all! Thank you. Can anyone tell me if there is a particular placement that really signifies an actual person like a queen, King, knight etc...
I more personally view that our fates are fixed, however, fate is more the final destination, altering the future part I'd say more as to say you're not changing your fate, you're convincing the gods to alter the cards or runes etc. so that they work in your favour, thus the fate isn't really altered, the journey however would be, which is generally an aspect of life itself, or how life is meant to be, we walk down a path, and at each crossroads we look at our options and weigh those options with risks, consequences, rewards, and so on so that the outcome we get on that particular part of our walk is most beneficial to us. I'd say that divination tools such as Tarot, Runes, Oracle Cards, etc. can be compared to the tools we would carry to travel, such as a map, compass, torch, shelter, etc.
Hello Kate. My name is Vincent & been watching your videos mainly because I'm new to the Riader Waite deck & It's spreads. I do own a lot of RW style decks in my tarot collection & The Victorian Romantic the deck I'm reading with atm. I honestly only have a background reading with the Thoth & The OOTK spread. Just to find the right deck to make a connection with I bought around 5 decks & surprisingly the Thoth's connection with me made it seem a lot more easier to learn than the RWS deck & spread which I heard most expert readers say it's the last last deck you would want to learn from. I'm really liking your method on the Celtic Cross & noticed you read the cards in a defferent order than most other readers I've seen teach this spread. Is there a reason why you don't read in the same order? Also since I'm used to reading the cards in relationship with each other working & communicating together as a whole in the Opening Of The Key spread instead of relating my life into the meaning of each card alone I find myself liking this spread a lot more than I thought I would. As well as I got a surprisingly accurate read much more than I expected for my first Celtic Cross read. Thank you!
Thanks for video :) Interesting... I've been studying tarot for several months, have been trying many spreads... and noticed - there are some spreads that make no sense for me... and there are the spreads like this, when trying, every time you feel like you look into a mirror... :)
***** Thanks Kate :) I have one question concerning card numbering. I mean is it classic numbering of celtic cross for example: #4 past #6 near future #10 distant future, etc... or can I change this sequence as I wish before spread? Does it make difference? And therefore, how important is to follow some strict structures in Tarot?
Mir Ian The numbering doesn't really matter. I have seen various versions of the celtic cross spread, that had the numbers a bit different. As long as you know what position means what, your good. Don't worry about the numbering :)
Loved this video!!! Did you ask a general question before this? or is this a message? I did my first one before i saw this video and I just asked "where i am now, future subconscious" Etc.
Its not so much that I was afraid. It said death was in my near future. I'm assuming this means something will be ending soon instead of actual death occurring. Also It basically said that if I don't radically change my life will end up an embarrassment, Which oddly enough was the push I needed to get my life in order, and even in just the past day I've taken measures to better myself and set a plan to do so further. So thanks.
After reading Waites book that came with my set I get the feeling he had contempt for divination and also he was not forthcoming with the correct symbolism. Almost as if he put out this deck in order to muddy the waters. Although it could be a double bluff lol... I realize now why there are so many decks. Once I am truly familiar with the universal I will move on and not look back. I do not know about you but I hate boarders on cards so large Thoth and a guillotine next. Thx 4 the reply :)

I have a reading on tarot card once, and the future card is on the left while the past is on the left I guess the order is not the same for every tarot reader
I've been told that the 3rd card you turn over is the one above the first two....and it represents "This Crowns You: And ideal situation or a possible future which has not yet been realized". But, the 3rd card you turned over was below the first two....which should have meant..."This is beneath you: The Subconscious origin of your concern or problem. It's all about what got you into the position you are in now". Have I been confused about this?
Even though this was a sample reading directed toward yourself, it related to my current situation. Thank you for the video; you have a new subscriber ;)
i read that the card that is supposed to represent your environment can also represent what you need to know. The second option resonated way more with me as it was the magician and I interpreted the card as me having the opportunity to achieve anything I want and that what I send to the universe will come to me. So is it okay to interpret this card differently?
I got the tower in my future position. Pray for me y’all
Hope everything turned out positively 💚💚
It's a good card
I got the hanged man
Tower is a very good card. Purging old beliefs that don't work is a very positive thing. Hope your new life is working well for you.

About the 8 of cups i feel the very same way. I'm just learning tarot and u are the first person I see mention this in my quest to learn about each card. This is what I feel about this card. He seems to have taken one with him on his journey.

Judgement as the outcome is possitive if you get your place in the world and negative if it is fear of the unknown.
wow, I have read tarot cards for 20 years now but this spread and your interpretation were really inspiring. Thank you very much for sharing :)
The cards are so telling on a psychological, spiritual and physical journey the reader is on. To expose the reader herself was brave indeed!

Hello, I'm trying to learn divination. Here's what I intuit from this spread:
Sometimes, i pick my nose when I drive.
sounds AWESOME Louis! Like I told her in a post, I felt like this reading was for me! lol Seriously, this was an amazing read.
Ooooh! you are good! You sound like you are going to do really well reading the tarot! Good luck to you. Blessings.
What an amazing interpretation. Im on the same page especially with that 3 of cups n devil. Maybe too much partying.
Louis Pettit i enjoyed your interpretation, very last line was tmi but whatever ;)
I believe this man has a lot of creativity and he is full of emotions and very attached to his family … so much so that the 6 of pentacles shows he has been active support to his extended family too.. and since it got too much to him he wants to walk away in search of internal peace.. away from d greed and wants of everyone …
He absolutely has nightmares abt all this past from time to time ..
however he wants to start anew .. he is passionate about this new venture … and he is celebrating his victory over his emotional turmoil.. the devil card warns him not to fall again in the trap of excessive charity or too much worldly attachment … and judgement card tells him if he pays heed to devils advice he shall attain ultimate salvation ❤️
I always shuffle my cards so all of them are upright.
What is your reason for this? I am super curious
Thank you!
Thank you so much, Jordan! I'm so happy that this video has helped you with your Tarot readings :) Thanks for watching and commenting!
Thanks Dan - glad you enjoyed this :)
Did my first Celtic cross spread and boy was it accurate and helpful! Thanks for the tutorial!
That's great to hear! Thank you :)
Thank you so much! This was incredibly helpful. My old way of interpreting this spread was so much less helpful, clear and informative. This is so useful and I got a really meaningful spread by following your advice. Thanks!
That's great, Sasha, I'm glad this helped you :) Thanks for letting me know!
Dark does not always signifies negativity. That's a narrow perspective...
I am a beginner at tarot and this really helped me a lot, thank you
The energy shift reading way is very comprehensive. Thx u lady 😊
I appreciated the wholistic way that you interpret the cards' meanings.
Very good demonstration. Organized and thorough. I liked the tip of comparing cards which form lines within the cross. Thanks!
you are more than close
Comment Part : Hi Kate, thx for that, yesterday I fell on a deck. I had bought 2 years ago, intuitively, like drawn to it. While I never was interested in Tarot nor earned a deck, somethign told me to buy it. So I did and placed it on a shelve. Yesterday, I need a calm evening far from computers and people! so spent my evening reading the book, looking at the cards (I was amazed how the major arcania depicts the mental steps of life, I could even approximately guess where I was)
Love this I've been doing a One on one tarot class and we start spreads today and I can't wait
I just did this one, my first tarot reading.. Very helpful video by the way. The results a bit grimmer than I had hoped but easy enough to avoid. Thanks.
You explained this reading so nicely.
Thanks you! It's a great explanation, and it really helps to see how we can compare cards together to make their meaning deeper and more accurate.
Happy Tarot Reading,
Kate

Thanks for the reply!
It has been a very helpful and inspiring video. Thank you so much. I am more aware now about how the different cards relate to each other.
:) Happy to hear you found it helpful. And don't be afraid by the "grim" cards!
Thanks for this! When I did a celtic spread for myself I got the devil in the same position as you, thanks for the explanation! I also got the page of cups, page of wands and 7 of pentacles but in different positions
WOOOOW!
1) The High Priestess
2) 10 of Pentacles
3) The Moon
4) Ace of Cups
5) The Hanged Man
6) Justice
7) 5 of Swords
8) 7 of Swords
9) The Empress & The Emperor
10) Death/Rebirth & 3 of Pentacles
Makes perfect sense!
Thank you! This just made my first reading make so much sense. 💛
This is a great instructional Tarot lesson about card relationships in the Cross spread. Thank you.
Wow thank you so much for this mini class! You did a great job explaining! I’m practicing this one more often and this will help! 🙏💜
Awesome! Straight to the point way of reading. I quite like the way you've explained it.
Wow this is really knowledgeable. I was wondering about this few days ago
THANK YOU SO MUCH! I took notes because your tutorial is so inciteful!
Thank you so much for this! I couldn't figure out where to start. This has helped me. I really needed a visual.
i wasn't referring to the order i just trying to point out that the announcement of the page card of cups was full... and the 3 cup was there which usually means announcement and the feeling was pregnant
Thank you for sharing your wisdom❤
shuffling my deck and u brought up 6 of pentacles as it was in my hand :P
I was shuffling my deck and the 8 of cups popped out right as she flipped hers over
Thank you, even with all the instructions I was really confused but after watching your guide doing it step by step I managed it.
You are so welcome, Patricia! I am honored and delighted that my videos are helping you :) Good luck!!!
great video. I am just a beginner (first time doing this) and you helped a lot to know what positioned card means what and how to relay it to other cards.
VERY HELPFUL :) Thanks,
Good to know! Thanks for watching :)
the eight of cups was in your other teaching, and the 9 or swords so i think it is for me too, since I "randomly" saw both of these...I am leaving something..ty!.
Hi Kate! Thanks for this tutorial! Loved it. ❤️🙏❤️
Thank you Gary! I look forward to making more videos for you to enjoy and learn from :)
Cheers,
Kate
Enjoyed your reading. Thank you for the presentation.
Thanks for a great tutorial! Am new to this and this has cleared so many things up! Thank You!
+Mikaela Adlam You're so welcome! Good to hear :)
Daily Tarot Girl, thank you! This video really helped me a lot!!
Good to hear, Ric! Thanks for watching :)
Well done. Very instructional AND intuitive. Best to you in the future!
How do you choose the crossing card where did it come from? Thank you ☺
Very helpful I always learn so much from your techniques, thank you!
Thank you :) So happy you found this one helpful!
Thank you so much. This sample reading directly spoke to my current situation which I find so amazing haha
That's funny how that happens sometimes!
Thanks for watching :)
Kate
Thank you for explaining this so easily! I get it now. This was the best at explaining the celtic spread! A thumbs up for sure. I have three questions. What if the a few of the cards are upside down due to the way it was shuffle, and does it mean anything? Is it OK to do 3 possible outcomes instead of 1? Final question, what if a card appears twice in the future position abd regardless of position when you do a celtic spread and a 3 card spread? :) ty so much!! You got yourself a new subscriber!
I'm so glad you found this helpful :)
If a card is reversed you can choose to read it reversed (which has a different meaning than if it's right side up) or just turn it so it's right side up (some readers - like myself- don't read reversed cards). For more info on reversals see my blog post: www.daily-tarot-girl.com/2013/06/29/how-to-read-tarot-cards-reversed/
Sure, you can do 3 outcomes, but oh my god that's convoluted! (I've done that though if I didn't like the first card I got!)
If you get the same card in the same position in multiple readings I would say pay attention to that! Seems like you keep getting a similar message from your readings!
Cheers,
Kate
Can you make a comment on the steps prior to the spread? Did you ask a question first (I assume) or did you just lay them out and read? What other first steps are involved before you lay the cards into the cross? Shuffling how many times? Any thought processes during shuffling etc ?
Hi Johnny - whether or not you ask a question before you lay the cards out is up to you. For this reading, I don't think I asked a particular question, so it was more of a "general" reading. Before a reading I always:
1. Clear my deck energetically by knocking on the deck once
2. shuffle as many times as I want - until I feel I'm ready to lay the cards out
3. As I am shuffling, I am thinking of my question or what I would like to get out of my reading.
If you want a step by step walk through of this process, check out my free audio download on my website: www.daily-tarot-girl.com/free-tarot-goodies/ - I walk you through how to do a one card reading for yourself.
Hope that helps you :)
Cheers,
Kate
Yes it does inform on the process. Thank you Kate. I am taking a masters level psychology class on symbolism and the tarot is a large focus. Though we have different ideas as to why you have those three steps above it helps a great deal. Thanks for taking the time to respond.
@@DailyTarotGirl thank you Kate :)
Thank you, thank you, thank you! This has shed light on so many questions that I have as a beginner. :) Will definitely remember this when doing my next spread
Isabel Ford You're very welcome, Isabel! Glad you found this helpful :)
You are good, you are inspiring me to really get to know the cards and the spreads. Thank you for your insight.
That's so good to hear, Tiffany! Glad you're inspired :)
Thank you!
Helpful and useful, thank you love for your forthrightness
fantastic demo!! thanks!
Thanks for video :) Interesting... I've been studying tarot for several months, have been trying many spreads... and noticed - there are some spreads that make no sense for me... and there are the spreads like this, when trying, every time you feel like you look into a mirror... :)
Mir Ian Glad you liked this spread :) Good luck on your Tarot studies!
Thanks for wonderful interpretation make me understand so easily..🥰🥰🥰
Its not so much that I was afraid. It said death was in my near future. I'm assuming this means something will be ending soon instead of actual death occurring. Also It basically said that if I don't radically change my life will end up an embarrassment, Which oddly enough was the push I needed to get my life in order, and even in just the past day I've taken measures to better myself and set a plan to do so further. So thanks.
This made it so much easier to understand thanks.
Great to hear that! Thanks for watching :)
You have such a good voice!!!👍
Whoo girl. Those cards did not take it easy on you. Love that you were courageous enough to post anyways!!
Your welcome! Glad you found it helpful.

A reading story is difficult, but we can understand very easily by you here, !!
・・We can see cards clearly!
I have a reading on tarot card once, and the future card is on the left while the past is on the left
I guess the order is not the same for every tarot reader
I've been told that the 3rd card you turn over is the one above the first two....and it represents "This Crowns You: And ideal situation or a possible future which has not yet been realized". But, the 3rd card you turned over was below the first two....which should have meant..."This is beneath you: The Subconscious origin of your concern or problem. It's all about what got you into the position you are in now". Have I been confused about this?
Please more readings like this.
Even though this was a sample reading directed toward yourself, it related to my current situation. Thank you for the video; you have a new subscriber ;)

Currently walking away from a knight of swords “Gemini” he’s emotionally immature and flighty was giving breadcrumbing energy’s 😂😂😂😂😂
i read that the card that is supposed to represent your environment can also represent what you need to know. The second option resonated way more with me as it was the magician and I interpreted the card as me having the opportunity to achieve anything I want and that what I send to the universe will come to me. So is it okay to interpret this card differently?
