Annual boiler service Vaillant EcoTec plus

These are the stages I do in a standard (annual) boiler service with all Glow worm and Vaillant boilers with the stainless steel heat exchanger.
Drain boiler
re charge expansion vessel
lubricate Schrader valve
remove and clean condensaye trap, automatic air vent , pressure sensor.
the combustion and pressures are checked along with all of the safety checks. A service certificate is filled out detailing the work carried out and readings with advice for the homeowner if required.

A boiler you’ve never been to before you said, and looking at the manga clean and trap as well, I would have recommended a full strip service and a new g10 seal

Perhaps you could teach the "Boiler Group" how to do it properly!

Thanks for your comments. This is how it should be done, unfortunately I find most "heating engineers" take shortcuts , especially if it's a through a large company / service contract/insurance type arrangement.
