Mega Man 1's Robot Masters were created by Dr. Light, yes, but Wily stole and repurposed them, so I guess it makes a little sense that Wily's logo appears before the Robot Master battle. In regards to Mega Man 9, its Robot Masters were also created by Light, but because Light was wrongly accused of making the robots go berserk and got arrested, his logo appears instead of Wily's.

I hate this update beasuse of W sign on before boss they not created by wily

Also, the Mega Man 3 Robot Masters were created by both Light and Wily, but are considered Wily Numbers. Weird how that works. 🤔
