I... Ive never managed to get the topple 3 times. I didn't even know more than 1 was possible. And I use dual blades. Damn. This is what an actual hunter looks like 😂

Mainly due to element multiplier for alatreon, its stupidly easy to cap alatreon elemental dps check with cb for some reason even with savage axe, same reason with switch axe.
dual blades, sns or lbg for example would have a harder time to cap it.

This isn't bad but it really highlights how awful SAED playstyle is in world, its such an annoyingly hit-tradey playstyle for less efficiency than Savage Axe. AED also feels really strange because the end lag is so unusually long, to the point where I can get of TCS's in certain windows but not AEDs due to the endlag.
At least SAED playstyle absolutely banged in rise, cause Wilds is back to Savage Axe supremacy

AED and especially counter AED at least is more widely applicable across a good number of matchups especially since you get a lot of phial value and its aimed nature means you can snipe specific parts for things like topple and clagger locks on top of impact phial stuns, but yeah unga bunga savage axe is just really strong lmao

Depends on match ups. On luna you'd never use savage axe. And on savage deviljho you'd never go saed

I really hope they give SAED some love in Wilds before release. I kinda hate the axe playstyle and don't wanna be forced into it like it seems they are trying to do.

There are two different ones. (I only know PlayStation controls..)
Charged Double Slash > Round Slash for building Phials (Hold Circle > Triangle)
Weak slash > shield thrust. (Triangle > Triangle + Circle) It’s quick and if the shield is charged, you get a small phial hit on the shield thrust. Great for elemental power Phials.
