    Another great video giving us archers evaluable knowledge that would otherwise cost us hundreds if not thousands.
    As always a pleasure to watch,
    many thanks and with the warmest regards from the UK

    User feedback if you will. . .I love your content and in depth reviews. I recently switched to Victory arrows based on your very informative videos, and I ordered a set of the Victory RIP Sport. I had the urge to shoot my new to me Bowtech Convergence (also purchased after watching your review, got a great deal on it second-hand, and Love it!!) but I needed a different spine arrow, so I bought the Victory VFORCE (13:53 in video) for a target set from a local sporting goods store (4/15/24). Setting up my 12 year old Bowtech Razor to get rid of, I Robin Hooded an arrow at 15 meters without a peep (just trying to ballpark the sight) with these using only the components in the box and 100gr NAP field points. I am very much looking forward to hunting with my RIPs, just no more grouping until I switch to the pin knocks. And permanently a fan of Victory! Was considering GT, and have used Easton, Beeman, and Carbon Express.I'm addicted, and next is the TKO RIP because I love the graphics. Thank you Archery Supplies!! I would order from you instead of the "L" word if it were comparable.

    That's the arrows I shoot. Very tough and durable. Robin Hooded 3 of them last week at 40 yards in the wind. Worth every penny for accuracy.

    I have Victory target and hunting arrows. They are fantastic arrows. Great review! Oh...because of your review of the Evolve 35 I bought an Evolve 35....great bow.

    • @ArcherySuppliesLonsdale
      @ArcherySuppliesLonsdale  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh great - People love the Evolve. What is interesting - is people shoot well with it. People will often find it easier than the target bows to shoot. But I think if you shot all the time then you should get better results with the target bow. But my staff sold their target bows because they got better results with the Evolve.
      I think it is the let off. I think it is easier to aim. I don't know - just my guess.

    I have shot the Victory VAP V1 400 spine for two years with Top Hat Protector 130gr points amazing arrows at a great price. I was told the company that owns Victory is the Supplier of carbon parts to Mitsubishi motors in the USA and all carbon is a high pure grade mixture.

      Marios Englezos I shoot these as well. The cheapest micro-diameters out there with .001 straightness, and quality Top Hat glue-in tips available from 60gr all the way up to 140gr. Great arrow, excellent value.

    For Easton they do have a hunting shaft which has a similar wind drift factor to the x10 it's called the deep six fmj and sells for about 215$ for the shafts in Australia but great review Steven

      i like the blemished but the 300 spine ones i got were too heavy when i got the new sight a couple weeks back, so i may come back in soon and get some of the Victory arrows again.

    Bought th .166 400spine VAP shafts. They all weighed the same spun perfectly. First shafts i haven't had to index.
    Once i cut them and made them up they were within .5 gn and 22gn lighter than my old Easton arrows
    Very Impressed

    I shoot V-6 and I absolutely believe they are the best shaft for target, hunting and just about every kind of shooting with bow Trad or compound. I've always been a Trad shooter Bear equipment and I'm thinking of buying a Oneida Phoenix and shoot it like a recurve instinctively.

    Chose the Victory VAP V1 Elite target shafts in 450 . Snapped the points at 120g & fletched with my fave Bohning 1.5 X vanes. My immediate previous arrows were Easton Carbon One, although over the years have shot several different shafts. All I can say is, do yourself a favour, these are a great arrow ! Skinny, precise fitting & well priced components, .001 straightness, .5 of a grain weight matched, nano ceramic "ICE" coating for easy arrow removal. Why not ? Watch those sharp pointy points though (assuming there is science in the design ? )

    Victory target arrow 3DHV (high velocity) seams to be same as their hunting arrow RIP XV (extreme velocity)
    Both shafts are marked .204 XV series and same grains per inch.

    Having just started with an Olympic style bow I didn’t want to spend a lot of money on arrows. Let’s face it most arrows are going to be better than me right now, but at the same time I don’t want to be able to blame my equipment for poor shooting. The Victory Vap Target Elite Shaft at $103 US a dozen was my choice. These seemed like the best preforming arrows for the price. Loosing or breaking arrows like the X10’s are painful for a beginner or anyone for that matter. For me it was bit of a gamble going with an unfamiliar brand but I think that it is going to pay off. I still have to build and test the arrows and will post back with the results when that happens.

      I am currently using for recurve the Win and Win Tornado. shafts as they are better than I shoot. But I am going to setup up some VAP. I am also going to setup some thicker carbons for recurve to see if I can shoot some higher scores.
      Rick McKinney is shooting thick Cheetah shafts for indoor with recurve.
      But yes recurve is hard. I am enjoying the challenge with recurve.

    GT Pierce are larger diameter than the .204 RIP. Example: 340 spine GT Pierce is .234 and the thinnest 500 spine is .222 - still larger than RIP and much larger than the VAP at .166

    I love VAP's & Victory in general.
    My partner uses the VAP target arrows in an 800 & gets almost a year out of them & that is without pin nocks, shooting field, 3d & target.
    The only bad thing I will say is that their f nock is JUNK. Had too many of them blow up. Beiter nocks are amazing in the VAP. Both the hunter & asymmetric nocks.
    For me with a 30" shaft the difference between the 006 & the 001 is very small but noticeable. It's almost too small to see on a spinner.
    My partners arrows are 26" long & honestly the 006 on the spinner is as straight as the 001 almost every arrow spins up perfect, just make sure you cut from the front or at least leave enough dull section on the back for fletching because nothing likes to stick to that ice coating hahaha.
    The 001 at 26" are perfect. At this length all the spines seem to shoot the same.
    I have used all of their arrow sizes at various times & found where the straightness quality really shone against their competitors was with the 006 arrows. Their 006 is a LOT straighter than most.
    In comparison the difference in straightness between a Gold Tip 22 series & 22 series pro was like chalk & cheese, at 30" the runout woble on the standard would be insanely different from shaft to shaft.
    @ 26" you can use a spinner to cut them back to straightness though.

    Hi Steve what is the inside diameter of the 0.166 and 0.245 Victory Elite Shafts (in other words have you checked if Gold Tip points will fit)? As well do you have pin bushings for the NVX 23 Elite shafts and a range of target point weights (150, 200, 250) like the NVX 27

    hello, i have been shooting victory vap elite for 2 years.. what i found out that they are little bit stiff. for example i had better grouping with 450 spine( cut to 27") and 120gr point that 400 spine, cut to 27 and 120gr point. shoting 28,5 dl at 58 pounds. bow bowtech fanatic 3.0 sd

    • @ArcherySuppliesLonsdale
      @ArcherySuppliesLonsdale  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Interesting - I setup the 350 last night because the 400 GT I felt were a little weak. They shot great but I wanted more point weight. I have not shot outside yet.
      Does the ICE finish wear off? Great to hear the arrows last.

    • @simonhooper2458
      @simonhooper2458 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Steve the ICE coating does wear off but it takes quite a while & doesn't affect the way they shoot. I actually lightly removed it off of some arrows as they were over penetrating some 3d targets hahaha
      If I want a coating on arrows I use Selleys ezy glide spray as it is non silicone based. Spray it on a cloth & wipe down the arrows. I don't spray the arrows directly as the chemicals in the propellant can be harsh.
      I use this spray in my releases as well as it repels dirt & water ;)

    Hello again. I have order 6 Gold Tip Ted Nugent-500 Spine AMO Length=30" for my Diamond Prism. Shooting at 45lbs Will they Be okay for my bow. as Im new to compond bow's I find it all Confusing With arrow Diameters and spine. I keep hearing Different Advice on youtube

    • @ArcherySuppliesLonsdale
      @ArcherySuppliesLonsdale  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Spine is how much the arrow flexs - so roughly 500 is 50#, 400 60#. So your spine looks good. The Goldtip is the normal thickness carbon .245.
      Now the basics on thickness is thinner arrows have less wind drift and better penetration. So if you are shooting short distance probably the fatter shafts are better. Field is interesting because half the shots are short so you can make a case for the thicker arrow.
      However most elite archers use a thin arrow.

      Depends in your arrow length. 500 spine will very good for your set up, you need play with the point weight a little bit, see what works.

    I used to shoot C1's back in the day and were a great arrow for the price (shot around 1340 to 1350 FITA scores with them). Protours/X10's are way too expensive and fragile, and would never buy those again. IMO carbon/ali arrows have had their day, and are fine if you are sponsored and are given them. For the average Joe you are far better off getting an all carbon arrow, like GoldTip or Black Eagle (the two I use). All carbons are much stronger and don't hold a bend like an ali/carbon arrow can.
