Hi Greg, I have just finished our build, took 5 months, I have lost count how many times I watched your original series ,and the new one, your van build series is by far the best out there and the bench mark for all others. I didnt "get" the vapour barrier at first, with sill vets/drains, etc. until it sank in, it was to keep generated moisture away from the van metal, Just want to say thankyou.
Yes absolutely that, it's to prevent moisture form inside the van which could be a considerable amount getting to the cold metal surface and creating a huge condensation issue.
Hi Greg. Can I just say thank you for posting your van conversations on TH-cam. All your posts are amazing. The information you give is so professional and constructive. I sincerely appreciate the work you have put in to making your videos, once again thank you.

Fabulous to see a little new footage of the Ducato Budget Build! We know how busy you've been over the past few months, so for you to fit in some filming is brilliant! The Renogy system and app is great. Filled with info and easy to manage, especially for a pair of old technophobe dinosaurs like Davie and I!😁
Welcome back Greg! This is really useful to see, thanks. I've copied your set up, except I've put a lifepo4 battery in. Looking forward to seeing the continued budget van build videos.

HI Greg! Your videos are awesome and are really insightful. For designing the interior layout of the van using sketchup, do you think you'd be able to make another video on how to draw the dimensions of the van with pen and paper and transfer them to sketchup? Sorry for the long rant, but I'm very passsionate about calling out when companies sell kit that doesn't work and then their support teams don't have our backs. I normally learn from or agree with everything you say on your channel but have to be real here and warn against trying to build a more complicated renogy setup that includes the BT-1 or BT-2, the BT hub, and the android app. Most renogy kit is brilliant! The 50A DC-DC, the lithiums, the solar panels, the 500A shunt - thay are all great bits of kit IME! But the BT-1, BT-2 and the android app are rubbish, they have been for years, and renogy clearly have had no desire to fix them. I've tried both the BT-1 and BT-2 adapters over time and had nothing but problems with them. And the android app is really badly written, has lots of errors and spelling/grammar mistakes etc. I tried for a long time to use it with three 100Ah renogy lithiums and a 50A DC-DC, all linked via a renogy bluetooth hub. Pairing them all together is a right pain - it seems to work around 1 in 10 times, and whatever causes it to break those 9 times is 100% a software issue, because it will repeatedly fail to detect one random device, then on the 10th time it will suddenly work fine without changing/plugging anything. Or it will detect all devices but one or more will be permanently offline (dimmed in the app) and never get any stats. Then when it does finally detect and pair everything the 10th time, the stats are wildly inaccurate. After pairing, I would leave it for a few days thinking it'll be fine next time, but then I would try to connect to it, the connection fails and I have to unpair eveything and start from the beginning again with a 1/10 chance of pairing successfully again. It's so frustrating. Renogy devs have become one of those teams who only update their app once every 6-12 months, but they only change bits that weren't broken, and break NEW things, and NEVER address the actual broken things that people have been complaining about for YEARS. YMMV with a single battery - It might be the bluetooth hub that is problematic because I've met a few people with just a single battery and no BT hub, and it works fine for them. Similarly I've met many people trying to use the BT-2 mainly with the BT hub, and they all have the same issues I do. You'd expect a company to ensure devices designed to work together do actually work together. And these days, most people want to have more than a single renogy device on the app, meaning the BT hub is mandatory. So I'm stuck now with three renogy lithiums as they were very expensive. I ultimately got rid of the app, the BT-2 the and bluetooth hub, and invested £50 in the renogy 500A shunt which was about £5 more expensive than the BT-2 plus the bluetooth hub. The shunt comes with its own display. It has no smart connectivity but for some reason that bit of kit is excellent and very accurate. Even if it has fewer stats, at least they're accurate lol.
When are you gonna do a budget van that is going over the top? Some people can’t afford things like that. Basic inverters and Sarah paddles so you need I built one mine was budget. I don’t mind when you done your first one.

Even if it has fewer stats, at least they're accurate lol.
i cant get my phone to connect via Bluetooth 😢😢😢
I heard that you are in prison in Turkey Greg. What did you do??

When are you gonna do a budget van that is going over the top? Some people can’t afford things like that. Basic inverters and Sarah paddles so you need I built one mine was budget. I don’t mind when you done your first one.
Never mind this, what about the budget van build that van builders were following and were left in the lurch.
