ITS JUST A THEORY A GAME THEORY
I go from 7,000 to 6,800 from getting Neev and Ember Gun 12 and now I'm only getting maxed bots and 10,000+ enemies. Even when I finally get access to things that are not even new anymore, I can't even use them. Can they please just fix the matchmaking! It's screwing up everything for so many people! Can't even do weapon or bot specific events if they were not already in the hangar before the event appeared.
There should be enough players by now to add some extra filters in matchmaking. For example... If someone is using one maxed bot and some duds in their hangar then pit them against other maxed players. Not players that are barely at half their power.
How about a balance system based on how many stars are in the hangar. If something is maxed then add another star. Then take into account how many bots there are and how much they differ. And don't punish a player that wants to try something different just because it is slightly lower than their previous set-up. Their not trying to tank or SP drop. It's just something different.
The hangar power metric is simply dated and broken. There will never be a perfect system. There will always be exploits. But it can definitely be better than it is now.
Matchmaking is actually very diverse and has multiple factors involved. Its not all based on the SP power metric, but that does play a factor.
If you are speaking more to SP dropping, I know they have been trying to address and testing in many ways. Simply put, its not as easy fix given how many moving parts ae involved. Personally I think part of that is their fault. Since people can buy legendary items at low stars and the grade update makes those items of higher value, its made the matchmaking even more difficult and people have found new ways to exploit it.
That all said, its definitely something they are aware of and working on. I just dont know when any type of fix could be in place.
It would be great if they would start punishing the people that are exploiting the game. Ban the sobs

im sure it will get released sooner than 6 months. The question is more so when it will be available for those who dont spend. That is more like a 6 month window sadly.
I am a new player to the game who is 50 years old and new to these PVP games. Just started playing Mech Arena recently and need all the help I can get. Watching you shows me just how much better I need to get! I haven't got that weapon yet.
Well I’m in my 40s so I get it. I can’t easily keep up with all these young fellas but I try my best. This weapon is a new one and only a paid item so it’s not one you really have to worry about. I just got it because I’m an official content creator and get it test new items to make reviews and videos on it. In any case, hope you are enjoying the game. @@MettlachFamily I am a solid player who plays mainly tank and attack Mechs. I like longer range weapons that allow me to hit them next to cover for reloading. I am the team mate who covers the others and I don't give my life away easily. Playing World of Tanks - Blitz was good training for Mech Arena. For me anyway. I am playing mainly 5vs5 Deathmatch battles until I get my faster mechs upgraded for my weapons. I have Mini guns, EM rifle, Chain Guns, Railguns and Vipers up to 16. My hangar has a power level of just under 10k.

Yes panther is still meta. Hes not always in every top hangar like he used to be, but hes still widely used end game.

Yes you can, but i think that will be less common once the Revoker 12 rolls around. Granted I dont know for sure they will add a Revoker 12, but id actually be surprised if they didnt.
The bots in my game don't behave like on the test server,,, they target players specifically while dismissing other bots that are closer and stand in your way or push you in to fire 🤣🤣🤣
They do that on the test server too. This was an anomaly

yea 16/8 builds make sense too. I just don't see much of a point as i bet dollars to doughnuts we will get a 12 version of the weapon and dual 12s will be more economical. I doubt this is a weapon people will have multiple builds of realistically.
Only application I can see is if someone likes using a slow 32 mech in FFA

I guess while they're trying to fix the problem that they made, they should start banning or suspending the people that are exploiting this game
The issue with doing that is how to correctly police who is exploiting and who is just spending on cheap deals. I think some area is gray and subjective. Also a lot of people do it now since they dont police it. So from a resources standpoint, I dont think trying to ban or suspend would be reasonable financially or logically. Just a guess though.
Fixing it is also tough, but since matchmaking is something all companies have to focus on anyways, it makes more sense to try to fix the issue and make the system better then focus on the symptom of specific exploiters. My 2 cents.
@@scape211 they easily can see the ones who are doing it. Yes sneaky ones would be tough, but this could easily be achieved. Also we play against AI bots, they could easily code or create AI that can catch or not allow a pilot to go in battles if they are not armed up to a degree. I think the best thing to remember is human exploiters are no match for AI if they're programmed are coded right.
@@chadberrard3636 Its not an issue of if it can be done. Its more so the issue of how long it will take given the human anomaly. I am not a coder, but from what little I have experienced of it, some things can be very tricky to fix or anticipate. And given that this is a company, they always have to think of time vs money investments I'm sure. We have definitely talked about this as CCs at times. We regularly present ideas. I'm sure they test some and their own theories for solutions, but likely haven't found the right answer yet. Personally I just don't know how easy or hard it is since I'm not the one doing it.

@scape211 nice, if the bug persists, it would be interesting to see how abstract builds go imo. However, if it persists we wont have a proper basis to preview the performance of future weapons. only time shall tell

They just do that to let you know where I hail from. We have content creators in various countries and languages so it helps to give a visual representation. Lots of games feature content creators in their games for news and stuff though. Helps to grow the community.
All that said, I do wonder about the state of the game myself. Not what it used to be.
You all have so many issues w the game, w AI etc. not spending money anylonger because of issues.

This is not true. I don’t know how you set it up, but they don’t kill with one shot. Are you seriously? On such a power of the hangar - Brickhouse with one shot? This is bullshit.
That’s what I was trying to explain in the video. It’s one thing weird that happened on the test server. It’s not something we see on the regular one though.

@scape211 I really tried by just running solo cpc... idk maybe I should've stayed competitive but all mobile games eventually go p2w... it's inevitable and just the business model.
