Thanks for the excellent job of dragging tutorial Professor Dave. It’s a lot easier to understand when all the info is presented all together rather than scattered out over a 30 minute video. And then what a great demonstration of your technique. Thanks again.
Love the videos. But I wish you would do a video on what you like to see when marking what you suspect are catfish and the baitfish you see and then some tips on how you would approach fishing for them. Anyways I like all your videos and thanks for doing what you do
Hey Dave, Great tutorial. Awesome catfish day with several whoppers too. I was worried you had lost that excellent hat the other day in that crazy wind. Glad to see it's still with you. This is what we all like to see. Keep it up. Good luck. Thanks....
I probably won't see the end of your video tonight. Work tonight really kicked my ass! Not complaining, just stating a fact! Thanks for the great videos!
It's been a long time since I've seen CD or KayakCatfish catch a striper. Looking forward to seeing some as spring kicks in. That's a really impressive size class of striper that Tennessee river system.
Saw Dave catch what, in the lake I fish, would be huge. Biggest one I've caught was about 8#. From the bank, 5/0 circle hook, nightcrawler. Last Spring.
Watched many of your videos and your sharing of Catfishing knowledge is very much appreciated. You had an exceptional Day catching in this one! Your Arms & Fingers will remember it.
Ooooo! What a day! It definitely needed your happy dance. I've been trolling for more than 50 years! Lot's of fun! Never know what I'll catch! I'll take whatever! You said you don't eat catfish. What about that striper? Anyway, I'm sure glad you didn't lose your hat in the wind. 🤠 It looks good on you! 👍 This was a darn good fishin' video! Terrific! 🤗😊🌹
Looks like you found a great spot for this time of year, thanks for all the information about dragging. Keep the videos coming I love watching them and my wife thinks the way you rhyme is funny. There is no thing as too many fish...lol.
Dave you are right , buying a spook or off shoot is cheaper than those from catfish companies , and yes what I've use in peg floats you have to change one maybe 2 fish , your the best ,
Catfish Dave, I love catfish nuggets and with every fat catfish you threw back in, caused me great grief and made me cry harder, even more when you threw that fat striper back in. I literally collapsed to my floor from the heartbreak.
It's funny how I was just watching you handle that 82 pounder in Chattanooga when this video just popped! Lol Dig it! Thanks Dave! Hope you get 100k soon
Fantastic video Dave full of nice size fish. I have been wanting to order a couple sets of the planner boards but they don’t have the Blue Marble ones anymore. And I’m trying to keep the color pattern going on my boat to go with my Blue MadKats Panther rods
Hey Dave great video man. I was wondering what model specifically is your trolling motor? voltage and thrust. I know its a minnkota. Looking at upgrading mine. Thanks
Love your content Dave ! I'm just getting back into Catfishing but this time I'm leaving the bank behind . Just as a thought , it would be nice if you were to put what products , names and where they come from that you have found to be worth the money in the description . It would definitely help a guy like me out that never knew of dragging the bottom or using planner boards for catfish . Btw ... I've learned a lot from watching your videos , Thank You !!!!!!!!
I've never used plainer boards and been drift fishing for over 50 years now. They look interesting, do you put a float stop on the line to keep from pulling the bait all the way up to the weight?
I need to go I just need to make the time when pulling all those big fish after a while my arms fell like jello still the best back ground view good job Dave 😁
May have to change your name to Catfish Daddy 'cuz you showed 'em who their daddy was 2day!! Thanks for the great video. Glad to see that hat didn't blow out as suspected a few videos ago. Sorry to hear you lost a planer board, BTW, you haven't lived til something has blown out of your boat going down the highway. It is like a rite of passage to lose a life jacket or a styrofoam cooler top back in the day.
I don't even fish for cat and for that . I'll let you know that I don't throw. But if I do Mr Dave will be my go to . Thanks for the knowledge boss with all the catfish sauce .
Ty Brother Dave for giving us your knowledge on what you love doing and I will say your dam good at it 👍 fyi try using a wind sock over your camera would help 🤷♂️ just saying
I went fishing in Tennessee once. Epic failure. It made me want to buy a boat. Classic overreaction. Bought some waders today for $10. Might have to give the state of Tennessee more $ for a trout license. You never know until you throw. Need to spend more time on the water, at a better time of year. Lol. Catfish Dave's advice on booking a charter is spot on!
Dr. Dave, you gotta go and you gotta throw. While these other youtubers are posting old trips with the leaves still on, you and Hagen Grubbs are showing a day or two old videos - Thanks for the videos!!
Again, fish have lateral lines that pick up vibrations, as they don't have ears. That's why the rattles work... it's the vibrations that attract them. Best of this years fishing trip I do believe❣
Like how I make just about everything u explain rime lol awesome. When ur back down in the Charlotte nc area I would like to show u some flathead spots where I catch mine some great spots also bunch of blues
Thanks for the excellent job of dragging tutorial Professor Dave. It’s a lot easier to understand when all the info is presented all together rather than scattered out over a 30 minute video. And then what a great demonstration of your technique. Thanks again.

Another great video Thank you
We catch them at 2mph. But the current flow is 4mph here in pool 24 on the Mississippi at times.
We just cut the current in half when drifting
Which knot do you use on the battle rattle?
Ban innovation... In fishing... That's always effective in stifling progress. Dagblasted yella dogs. Good job, Dave.
Lord have mercy Dave!! I lost count of yer fish in the boat this trip!!! Yay!!!
Nice. Last day of work for me then I'm off to the Arkansas River. Good times
Hey Dave . You ever gonna come fish lake Hartwell. Or Santee Cooper ! Love ur content.
He was at Santee a couple months ago. Check his vids
That "diver" certainly earned his pay today 🤣😂
Dave I was just wondering do you ever go fishing in Norris Lake
A graduate level infovid.
Also great tips.
I went fishing in Tennessee once. Epic failure. It made me want to buy a boat. Classic overreaction. Bought some waders today for $10.
