Korma is the mildest curry you can buy. Being coeliac I buy the Sainsburtys Korma as it is gluten free. We have it with pilau rice and naan bread (gf) tht was maybe your mistake using long grain rice x
Korma is a curry very mild, made in the style as Pasanda and Masala and they run in this order for spice. Easiest way to up the flavour of a jar sauce is to cook the meat in a base spice at the start. Easiest method, fry some onions in oil, add ginger, garlic fresh, or dry cook for a few minutes med heat, then add 1tsp Tumeric, Corriander and half tsp of Cumin powders, cook off for a few minutes and then add the meat cook for 5 minutes and then add the sauce, no matter how rubbish the sauce, will always add a good flavour.
