- Today's DIY is great for transitioning into fall--where did summer go?!
Grab and old (or new) scarf and turn it into this Kimono--this was so cheap to make!
Just make sure it is big enough--should be about 1 metre x 1 metre when you fold it in half.
Dementions I used for the cut outs were:
20 inches down from the top fold (how big your arm hole will be)
15 inches in from the sides.
Again, you don't have to do this.. you can just stitch up the sides and leave a 20 inch hole at the top for your arms!

Materials:
Scarf - Dollarama (just $3!)
Fringe - Fabricland
Fabric glue - Fabricland (you can use this instead of sewing)
Needle and thread - Dollarama
Scissors
Chalk
Measuring tape
Iron
Sewing machine

its beautiful what is made but explaination is sooo bad n confusing..u can focus cam from a little far to know what part u actualy working on
Great upbeat tutorial thank you ...but maybe I missed something? When you cut the front open (stopping at the fold), do you shape the neck at all or just leave it as a simple slit up the front?
Thanks! No I didn't shape it around the neck at all. I found the slit was good on it own. It's very light material so folds and drapes and you don't really notice when wearing it (you shouldn't find it uncomfortable or anything).
