I love that Final Fantasy music was playing while Brian was fighting NobuoUematsu. For those who don't know, Uematsu was the composer for the Final Fantasy series until, I think, FFX. I know he also did music for XIV 1.0 and themes for some expansions.
The editor used Nobuo Uematsu music when he was playing Obuo Uematsu, please give a raise or a handshake to your editor Brian that's some good edit skills.

Hey Brian and chat, what kind of roadmap should I follow for learning the basics of street fighter? Recently getting into it after watching a friend play sf6 beta. I know there will be a few changes from 5>6 but after doing the trials for Ryu and getting used to the inputs how would y'all recommend I move forward to improving? Much love to all of you ❤
I'm a new player too and only ultra silver so far, but the most helpful advice was to just learn some bread and butter combos and otherwise just focus on defense. Punish risky moves of your oponent since they don't know that their moves are slow and punishable. Master your defense first, offense will follow eventually
Like masumasumasu said, do yourself a favor and learn defense first. Then from there you can learn offense pretty easily. It's easier to start from defense to offense then it is to start from offense to defense because of some habits that you could form while only focusing on offense could make the game much harder for you in the long run. Good defense isn't just blocking though, it's also knowing when you can escape or poke your way out of a dangerous situation. Understanding how the neutral state works is also important. Ryu is a good character to start with to learn defense, offense, and neutral. So I recommend sticking with him during the learning process.
Learn how to anti air, also defense will take you a long way. Resist the urge to mash on everything. If you can make somebody afraid to jump, you’ll force them to play the ground game where they’ll probably be uncomfortable. From there, you’ll pick up on neutral as you go. One more thing, getting thrown hurts a lot less than getting counter hit for teching at a bad time
Fun fact: nobuo uematsu is a Japanese composer and keyboardist best known for his contributions to the Final Fantasy video game series by Square Enix, previously know as Squaresoft. Shout out to the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster being released to console in 5 days. P.S. Where is Jojo!! >_
Nah it’s better the way it is. Beating someone who is ostensibly better via rank should be more rewarding, and inversely losing to someone you shouldn’t, should be more punishing. Yes there is going to be cases where it’s bullshit, but that’s the trade off, like every system, it’s imperfect, and unless you can find a perfect system 🤷🏻♂️. Homogenising all point scaling is incredibly boring and isn’t a real solution.
@@phalanx8437 But hopefully you see my point that rank does not always reflect skill. I beat my buddies who are higher ranks all the time because I mostly play in lobby matches. So people don't deserve to lose more points against someone of equal skill just because my rank is lower. However, I do think you should get more XP for getting a win-streak and growing that streak. Rewards are good for retaining players, but harsh punishments do the opposite. Just some food for thought.
@@TrueUnderDawgGaming if you lose to a player that has a rank that doesn't reflect their skill the solution is raising that player rank, how do you do it? you give that player more points, where do you take those points from? the players who lose, ez. Ideally the number of "smurfs" you encounter goes lower and lower as their rank increases
@@TrueUnderDawgGaming the thing with your point is that if the player on your skill has a lower rank than yours then they can also attain your rank at some point. It is designed so you gain more by beating higher ranked players so you get placed easier to where you should be but the lower ranked players that cannot beat higher ranked stay at that rank or rank up but lose it easily
