Thanks for this video great work and very entertaining as well and could feel the pain when the log falls off the equipment. Now I know too how to wood chip like a pro!
Well, I tried the mechanical version of this an is much faster. All you need is the big chipper, the self propelled one, a chainsaw and a tractor with a log fork. You cut the tree, de-branch it, then pick it up with your log fork, and feed the thick end first into the chipper, while using your forks to support and guide the log in. Works like a charm, and investment is minimal: chipper + loader and log fork.
The big green wood chipper with the control arm can take full trees with out cutting into pieces. Even the biggest trees can fit. The arm has a tough time grabbing the big one but I can be done. I cut down a tree trim the branch's off then use the arm to gran an end of the tree and set it on the convaire belt. That will drag the entire tree into the chipper. Sometimes you need to use the arm to push the tree back in line with the belt or use the arm to push down in the tree so the belt can grab better. I fill the biggest dump trailer 59,000lb. It goes really quick.
Can you help me with front loaders on farming simulator 17 and farming simulator 22? The farming simulator 17 maps I have are west bridge hills and Hagenstedt .
Just noticed, the Jenz BA 725 has awesome lights on it you can turn on when your inside it for logging at night. On the tractor it only turns on its basic lights.
I use the placeable chipper, which I place beside my chip storage area, to sell as I need the extra money. I stock pile chips and then when I need some cash, Ill just load it up and sell em instead of loading a trailer and hauling it.
I have a question maybe you can help with. I just used the wood chipper with the arm on an entire area. I moved across the map to start on another area and my chipper won't chip. The arm, supports, and pipe all work fine. However, when I bring logs to the chipper it won't turn on and start chipping. Any idea? I'm using the same tractor I have always used and even tried swapping out the tractor for a more powerful one.
Do you have the chipper turned on in the tractor? The tractor needs to be attached and the chipper needs to be green on the HUD at the bottom right. If the chipper is not on it will be white in the HUD.
@@kingarthursims the "turn on chipper" should be in the same menu as folding and unfolding the chipper. However, it's not there. I'll go over and check again.
@@kingarthursims I got it. It was just a little glitch. I was trying every button when I hit the fold chipper. When I unfolded it again it worked fine. Thank you for your help.
Arthur Chapman i forgot to add that i was talking about the hm 4 300 the small one and if you go on youtube and search "biggest logs put in wood chippers compilation" its where the put 1 or 2ft wide logs and wathing the machine trying to eat it
I planted like 80 trees in FS15. 5 real life weeks later I hated trees lol. The grabby machines are the bane of my existence. I was clearing some trees around a field last night and bought the hand chipper. It is so much easier to cut smaller logs and hand load them in! I made like 6 grand with one load of chips off 4 trees.
That big Jenz chipper has a capacity of 5000 litres. I agree with you on the new big Jenz chipper, much easier to use. I just bring up my Ponsee Scorpion up to it with the cut length set to 1 or 2 meters and chip away. The old Jenz chipper from FS15 seems obsolete to me, especially as the new one is cheaper
For realism, I just believe a worker comes by and picks them up when you're not looking. It's similar to the 725D so it must have a decent capacity.. and you know those lumber yard workers are ninjas.
I just checked the system requirements and I was shocked by how little the game needs. Do you know what the pros and cons are between the PC and PS4 versions?
The two big ones - 1. I think the PS4 still has a slot system, so you can only buy so many pieces of hardware, but I am not sure - 2. The PC gets way more mods still - though the PS4 at least gets some mods.
Thanks for the heart man! Means a lot, I was just using the scorpion with the big logg chipper and it's now tested too, it works, but the angles are tricky sometimes :))
Hand me that Choppa!!!! Great video, very informative. And I cured my insomnia. I play on my phone Droid ultra is it possible to have this equipment on a phone? Thank you.
I liked the idea of forestry, but the cranes and everything just drive me nuts. I just use them to clean land for farming and paths. I set up a chip sell point and the larger wood chipper in front of it, seems to give me the most for the logs, if the financial is what your after. I keep my trunk chipper beside it also and the smaller logging trailer I use by it as well (since the larger trailers are to high to throw stuff in). I wanted a forestry specific tractor but their is just to weak :( So I just use my regular tractors.
That too, mostly hauling the logs around. For that horsepower I might as well use the pickup lol just like we do here IRL, lol. I do kind of wish they had more small stuff for the trucks for basic maintenance like this that would be nice.
The little Heizomat is such a silly thing! They should have mounted a trailer connector at the back (at least as an option) - so you wouldn't have to disconnect tractor and trailer.
My friend Jarod997 did extensive testing. He found that the best thing to do with logs is to cut them into 6 foot sections and then sell them. the chipping market drops to quickly for it to be worth while.
Do you know all you need is the scorpion because all it has to do is grab the tree not even cut it just cut it down while it is hugging it then drag it to where you sell wood it works on my PS3 and I made 100,000 in like ten minutes
I and a friend had a blast with the long one that can also be driven (if very slowly). It just takes the trees and converts them to chips so easily.
Thanks for running through the different equipment for logging. Logging is what I plan on making a farm for when my game finally ships to my house.
Your gonna love it!

Glad you enjoyed it Bernie :)
I hope in the next pc/console edition you could hire workers to do the log cutting and chipping.
That would be nice.

Man I came across your channel and had to subscribe, great videos bud. Thank you for sharing.
My pleasure Hilham! Welcome aboard!
".. Too bad, poo-poo." I fucking died! x'D
try using the scorpion king to directly put the log chunks in the chipper

That is cool - I will have to try it out.

Hmm, maybe it operates like the grabber, and just needs to be connected to the tractor, but not "turned on". I will have to try it too.

haha! Glad to hear you worked it out!
I love the last one
wow finally someone that has brains all the others say u need to put toothpicks in it but nice video
Thank you Daniel - I like to really test stuff all the way out, so it was nice to see what the little chipper was good for. I may buy one for my farm.

Any chance you have made or can make a plank tutorial, please?

Definitely. Hand loading stuff is so much easier and faster.

Right - its so much easier to use. The hand loading has seen do that.
I refuse to use the stationary wood chipper. What, are they piped to the sawmill? Lol, if I want to keep it realistic, I refuse to use it.
Rick Frazer I agree

Well looks like PC wins @ $22 cheaper then PS4. That's a big savings 1/3 off. Plus I like the idea of playing with mods.
You could also cut the small trees over the feeding table of the first chipper and save a proces
Thanks for the heart man! Means a lot, I was just using the scorpion with the big logg chipper and it's now tested too, it works, but the angles are tricky sometimes :))
Definitely - I always miss - need better depth perceptions lol.
Arthur Chapman it's easy if u back up to it as straight as possible and just turn the hand :P
Hand me that Choppa!!!!
Great video, very informative. And I cured my insomnia.
I play on my phone Droid ultra is it possible to have this equipment on a phone?
Thank you.
You are very welcome. The mobile version of the game doesn't have much equipment when it comes to logging. I think just the Scorpion and Buffalo.
i like your videos
What map are you using?
The second map that comes with the game - Sosnovka.
Every time he jumped into the big woodchipper while it was running i was expecting him to lose an arm.
lol - AAHHHHHH
Can you please make a video on Heizomat HM 4-300/Farming Simulator 22 and farming simulator 17
will do - that will part of the tutorial.
I liked the idea of forestry, but the cranes and everything just drive me nuts. I just use them to clean land for farming and paths. Yeah - I wish that they had a larger forestry tractor too. 114 hp is only enough for the smallest chipper.
That too, mostly hauling the logs around. For that horsepower I might as well use the pickup lol just like we do here IRL, lol. I do kind of wish they had more small stuff for the trucks for basic maintenance like this that would be nice.

That definitely would help.
I will give it a try mate ,looks much easier than FS 15
With the combo of the new big jenz and the hand loading its way easier.
Pretty cool video, you could even say that it is pretty...... chipper.
haha - SUP LEI :)
Get to tha choppa
Gnow!
What is your twitch channel and Facebook group name
Hi, My twitch channel is www.twitch.tv/vbluguitar - Facebook group is "arthur's gaming channel"
We got the rotation Thingy in farming 19
Lets say a tree is worth 1000$. If you chip the whole thing? How much is it worth aproximate? Sorry if i wrote something wrong haha
And the tree gives more
That works well if you are close to the sell location, but if you are somewhere else, it doesn't work too well.
Change your camera angle dude that might help. You’re hovering 15ft above you tractor trying to pick something up on the ground???
Maybe, but I am so used to doing it that way, that it might be couterproductive.
English accent? That was Australian
yeah - and not a very good one either lol
Not first. Lol
lol
First
You've been rocking first place for quite a while.
Very irritating watching someone doing tutorials but don’t even how to turn the engine...
And I’m not hating l respect you but man
