Good video, Fertilizing and plowing will increase the yield of poplars, I made a video testing it a few days ago. I’ve had a hard time actually getting the hired worker in the harvester to turn and go down the next row. I typically just use the trailer attached to the harvester.
This game is so hard and long winded, no clue what I'm doing, iv watched guides after guides and still don't know what I'm doing lol good video though 👍
Thanks for always mentioning which stuff is mods and which are vanilla. PS4 here, and while we do have far more mods than 15, it really helps to know this. Especially on your older 15 videos. I heard from my brother that you can use this woodchips to make a bridge. Is that accurate? I see videos about it but they are heavily modded so I'm not sure if it's possible in the vanilla game. I'm still on 15, getting 17 in a few days when UPS figures out where we are, lol. Rural life, Amazon is rarely two days here when it's UPS or they throw it in the neighbors yard and their sheep chew on the box. :/
If you had enough of them you could, but it would take a considerable amount to do it. Also I have heard of people making "gravel" roads from ground they plowed and cultivated and them spread a thin layer of wood chips over.
Rick Frazer true, but in real life you would never put a half million dollar harvester under that kind of stress. It’s a good way too burn out the transmission
bro - im just getting on FS 17 . started on fs11 trying to do them all - thank u for the explanation.. also im gunna go mess with the speed i am nnot gunna be too happy doing 5mph on poplar.. also gunna mod up the tock trailer to haul a bit more capacity - cause im very UNrealistic on this game overall -- thanks agaon for the tutorial..
I usally pull the augar wagon behind the forage harvester when I use the forage harvester instead of paying a worker then when the augar wagon is full I un hook it then hook it up to a tractor then unload it into a tipper trailer

My pleasure - I have not tried to make a wood chip bridge, but with the new pile system its most likely possible.

The Krone trailer (thought it was in game but may be wrong) can be used behind the harvester and works great with the adjustable tongue.

There are definitely mods out there that can speed things up for you.

Ah, Nice. Much faster too. I have seen French farmers doing that before in real life, though they were chopping chaff, not poplar.

I think maybe the achievements in this game are through steam, and so may differ from the PS 4 experience
It's not pronounced "pop-LAR." It's pronounced "pop-ler." Like "popper" but with an L thrown in there.
Actually, in Ohio we pronounce pop LAR. We also pronounce Medina - Muh DI nah and Lima - LIE mah - but that is besides the point.
