  • I'm embarking on a lifestyle change starting Monday, and I've devised a plan for it.
    To succeed in any endeavor, a well-thought-out plan is crucial for the best chance of success. Therefore, I've planned out the tasks I need to accomplish in the first week.
    The items I've highlighted in this video aren't exhaustive of my plan; I anticipate making some adjustments along the way. However, these are the elements I believe are essential for success.

    16-8 fasting everyday, eat meat and eggs, no bread or cereal , and NO SUGAR that simple

    TIP: Some people get what they call the " Keto Flu " when they go Low-Carb / Keto / Ketovore / Carnivore but isn't really the flu at all, it's just a phase of feeling like crap at the start until things settle down. It can be mitigated in many cases by ensuring that you get sufficient ELECTROLYTES so you could pay through the nore for something like LMNT or you could follow the 3-ingredient formula that they have on their own website and make up your own a lot cheaper 😉

    Are you type 1 or type 2. Years ago for the type 1 they used a pig insulin. These day's it's synthetic. Hope you are well PJ That organ is an annoying one. Always have an epi pen on you. Stay safe out there

    You're on the right track. I felt unwell from jumping 100% into a keto diet. I would suggest: Half your normal carb intake in week one then half them again, while bringing up your fat intake. I think its to do with the gut microbiome adjusting
    Intermittent fasting is a good idea because if you eat a decent amount of meat in one meal you will get a fair bump in insulin which is actually a good thing ( not a spike). Some people on a keto diet( lower protien High fat) suffer from cramps, the reason being lower insulin signaling in the kidneys causing an electrolyte imbalance. I solved all these issues by having one large meal a day with enough protien. Other people add fruit to mitigate these symptoms but this counteracts what we are trying to achieve and is a pathway to cake, in my experience.

    Right pa I like your TH-cam content, but it’s your content not watching minute long series of advertisements, now 5 10 seconds is allowing you to earn from my viewing of your content, But not 5 or 6 minutes of advertisements. So I’m not going to watch advertisement. If you think I enjoy watching advertising content? Get a few coins ok, but I object to funding minute segments of advertising maybe 5 or more times in one of your videos.

    Cmon … eat real food / limit carbs , drink water . It’s that simple !
    If it’s processed don’t eat it !
    You can cheat moderately one day per week ..

      Lots of people (like myself) can't moderate so they need to abstain completely much like an alcoholic can't just have one or two beers or just one shot of spirits. Binge-eaters often therefore find Carnivore easier to manage than low-carb or keto. If I open a 600g tin of say Quality Street, within the hour, they're ALL gone and I don't even remember doing it ... Solution = Don't put them in the shopping basket in the first place 😉

      Right .. ok I didn’t really consider this …. I understand exactly what you’re saying . I take the simpleness back . Discipline then becomes the key I guess and being in the present moment …
      I’m glad pj has started talking about healthy eating , people need to be aware of the dangers . I mean I’ve been eating like this along with gym 5 days a week for 5 years now and can honestly say I feel the best I’ve ever felt in my life I’m 46 now
