Thanks man 👍
My concern with the Xiaomi watches is the poor tracking accuracy. Huawei offers very similarly priced bands that are a lot more accurate than the Xiaomi ones
I was coming here commenting that: no timestamps?!
You're a God
I love how this channel is slowly gaining track. Keep up the good job mate. Cheers from 🇨🇱 (Chile, not TX)
It feels weird that you recommend the pixel watch as "the one where you can get all the features", when it requires a paid subscription to fitbit to use all the features.
Yes, I find a lot of the reviewers forget to mention there is a Fitbit subscription.
I also wear a Venu 3 for similar reasons. I never download a bunch of apps or use all the things when I have a galaxy watch or Apple Watch so getting my notifications and being able to see phone calls and stuff is good enough. Not having to charge the battery often is SO NICE. I charge it when I’m in the shower every day and never hate to charge it any more than that but if I want to go on a shorter trip I also don’t need to bring a charger. Win win
If I bought the epix gen 2. ( last years model), should I still get the venu 3 for sleep tracking? What’s the difference between the sleep tracking on venu3 and the epix gen 2?
@@brucelin5842what a question epix is beast
What about the Amazft (Zepp) lineup? Many affordable watches for the casual to the dedicated.
I own the Withings Scanwatch 2 white face 42mm. And dam it looks good. I actually get looks, compliments and questions often. It's great watch
I had an i fit but it fell of its bracelet. Now suunto5 shows nice gps maps of trainingroutes but thsleep mode is lottoing the data all on a random. Eitch is better bling bling maps or accutayr data?
So if i own a pixel 7 should i buy the samdung watch ? Are the features thet are specific to samsung gonna hinder me in any way?
When it comes down to training, I tend to use my Forerunner 245. Good performance, great battery life, good information, and solid, no touch screen that messes up things when wrapping up my fists and still usable when it's wet, but the smart functionality is limited. That's also my complaint with the Venu 2S I used to have. For that matter, the Pixel watch 2 is much more suitable, as well as the Apple watch (though it's amazingly ugly) that I once had when I still used iPhones.
Mike. How about the Tic Watch 5? It's amazing
Thanks Mike, always with great videos 🎉
Love the content man been subscribed for a long time!
Props to that run time at 4:20 by the way,
As a fellow runner, a sub 6 min, 1 mile is always my standard!
Keep up the clean and informative content!
I just got my fenix 7 in the mail today. Super nice.
Em breve na categoria Smartband Galaxy Fit3 reinará estou com a minha Fit2 a três anos só aguardando
I own a Galaxy watch 5 Pro. I like that Garmin Venue 3 alot. A great video brother. 😊
Excellent review. I’m after something that can last me at hear a week without charging (ideally 10 days); counts steps; has haptic alarm and countdown and nfc payment. Any suggestions appreciated! Ai far it’s the Garmin Venu Sq2 that’s ahead on points. A nice to have with be calendar synchronisation (Microsoft or Google). Another nice to have is boxing mode to count arm movements (like the Xiaomi smart band 8- no nfc:().
{Using an Air Watch 6 with my non Samsung android phone, doing updates using my iPad}.
For me it's either apple or wearos. Other proprietary operating systems don't make sense to me when apps like spotify or several running apps are not supported
Bluetooth extender for between smartphone and smartwatch, is it available?
How about white belt and black face smart watch ? Is it only for ladies or both? Someone please reply me
Please where did you find blue analog watch face.. Thanks 😊
I hope that Smartwatch companies besides to Watch Straps , supply lightweight neck chain that the body of smartwatch can be joined to , and maybe charge the smartwatch from the heat of the body if possible..
Love my pixel watch 2, I went from Garmin vivoactive 3 and wanted the extra features but Garmin was a solid watch
That's awesome I'm thinking the same as pixel watch 3 doesn't drop until October. Which pixel phone do you have and do you have the pixel buds too? Just wondering how the compatibility and cohesiveness is with multiple pixel products.
Where did you get that vest?
Whic one is in the beginning that looks hybrid with the flowers on the screen?
What about the TicWatch Pro 5?
Hey Mike,
Have you checked out the Huawei GT3. I use one and charge it once in 14 days. Amazing watch, love it.
No one wants the Chinese government on their wrist
The features are limited in the united states
which of these watches have fall detection, and ecg,
Thanks Mike, always with great videos
could you do a best budget watch list please
My first smart watch was an Apple Watch and I wasn't a big fan of it. After that I got a Garmin and it worked much better for fitness but things you take for granted on smart watches such as temperature don't work that well. Garmin is hampered by it's software and it's a pain to make simple changes to the watch faces. I started using a Pixel and eventually bought a Pixel Watch. It is by far the favorite smart watch I've used. Even though I have switched back to an iPhone mainly due to a carrier deal, I continue to wear the Pixel Watch. I'll keep my Pixel around to sync with my watch and I can still view the stats on my iPhone through the Fitbit app.
Thank you for writing this! I want all pixel tech but afraid that the pixel watch isn't that great since I've heard the Apple watch can do so much. You may have changed my mind to go with my first choice of a pixel watch :)
I have some health problems and I'm looking for something give me specific numbers of Minotaur .. watch one the best for this
I personally love the new Helo watch where you have excellent reports but also earn from your own data. Maybe Mike can do a review on that one? Happy to share info
Is the Garmin able to connect with other Fitness Apps? Like Samsung Health, Google Fit etc?
personally i strongly use the Samsungs ecosystem and the batterie time is a Deal Breaker so the garmin is the next pick for me.
I hope this posts ths time. Health Sync is the app you need. Garmin and/or Samsung watch to Google Fit, yes. From one watch app to the other, not so much.
Thanks Mike. I love how you acknowledge so many different perspectives. We live in such an amazing time of innovation that there is so many choices and the features one person is looking for can be so very different from the next person. Thanks for all the effort you put into this video.
Hey Mike, could you kindly review the Xiaomi Mi Watch 2 Pro and a possible comparison with the ticwatch pro 5. Thank you
Please do the Zeblaze Thor Ultra... or something else FULL ANDROID? Also curious how these compare to Redmi Watch 4 with the working crown.
Is there any upcoming Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro review?
Mike, I know this is going to sound silly but I don't want something robust. I want something that tells me the time, and alerts me to calls and messages by vibration. Not really looking for any other features. Currently have a Fitbit Sense2 and it's much more than I need, but I love the 7 day battery life. Am I best where I'm at, or is there something better? I'd honestly even be fine with a ring instead of a watch. Just something to let me know a text or call is coming in. I don't always feel my phone, but love that I'm alerted on my wrist. If it weren't for that I'd stick with analog watches.
I have an Amazfit Bit S Lite. Battery lasts for around 80 days. Works amazingly.
I ended up getting one of garmins solar watches 2 weeks ago. Havent had to charge it since, I really like it!
Good job Mike, I saw one of my fren wearing japanese watch with 60 days per charge. So cover those things too.
I'm a teacher and a dance choreographer. I've never owned a smart watch but I'm looking for something that will mostly help with reminders, notifications, heart rate ( I have high blood pressure) and connect to my phone for music control through a Bluetooth. I have a Samsung sung phone but a tight teacher salary budget. What do you recommend?
The galaxy watch 4, while old is very inexpensive so you could give that a shot, galaxy watch 5 isn't really much of an upgrade from the 4.
Pretty sure the venu 2 plus was your favourite last year. At least you are consistent!
My mom is a sumsung phone user, shes 70 i want to get her a watch to track her steps and heart rate and such. Any recommendation?
Great review thanks a lot
Excellent analysis 💯
what about the Tic Watch 5 Pro?
I use a Ticwatch Pro 3 and love it. Practically all smart features are included, perfect cooperation with Android smartphone and it lasts more than 3 days.
I have a Galaxy Watch 5 Pro and love it, I have the LTE model with one number sharing from T-Mobile so I can leave my phone at home and can do google maps, make and receive calls, make WhatsApp and lots of apps that don't need my phone. I am not so much into hte health stuff except the Blood pressure functiion which is very accurate. Also Strava works great,.
Battery last for how many days?
I tracked my fitness for month and then realized i wasn't training for the iron man so what was the point. I've had Fitbit charge 5 and currently ticwatch 5 pro. The phone integration is nice with these (especially the ticwatch) but in the end id rather just have a classic watch that never needs a new battery or has to be charged. The only fitness feature i really want is a stopwatch with lap times.
I do find having a fitness tracker helps keep up motivation.
But I've always thought smart watches are really dumb. My Casio was $12, has stop watch and laps, and a 10 year battery life.
But recently I hate taking my phone anywhere, and I'm wondering if a cellular watch can completely replace my phone?
I went with a Venu 2 Plus. I love only having to charge it every 6 days or so.
Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro and Ticwatch 5 Pro should be in the list
Dropped a like 👍 at 7:42.. you made my day Mike😂😂😂😂
what phone do u use?
What is better? the Fitbit Charge 6 or the Apple Watch SE - I use iPhone and I am currently in hesitation between those 2
Aside from the battery, the Apple watch is much better. The fitbit has a pay wall, and it's annoying.
Forget the watches I want to know where you got that vest!
I'm not one to want to stand out, so the s9 is perfect for me. The Apple Watch is the most popular watch in the world after all. I also like the fact that it seamlessly fits in with the rest of the apple products. Although, I do wish I had went with the ultra 2 instead. I like the bigger size because I'm low vision-legally blind.
No review on the Pixel watch 2?
Anyone have a good recommendation for a watch that's best for offline/local music playing during workouts?
Any newer Garmin watches, they unmatchable for fitness.
I agree about the Garmin watches. They support Spotify, Deezer, and Amazon Prime (paid) music. There's rumor that Google will hopefully provide a TH-cam Music app soon, but I'm not holding my breath. It would be really nice to have. You can of course do it old school: download your MP3s directly from your computer to the watch over your charging cable. I little clunky and it only works with Windows or MacOS, so no Linux or ChromeOS.
i have galaxy watch 5 pro and 6 classic. now that i use a tab s9 ultra as my main phone i need a non samsung watch to pair with it
I recently got a pixel 8 pro and i was considering the pixel watch, but after reading all the reviews about it i really dont dig it because of all the things people say about it. But i also dont want to download another app just to use a smart watch.
The Pixel and the Apple Se are more like Toys. Screen is ridiculously small. So it’s GW6 classic 47mm or Apple 45mm but where is the Ultra 2. Should be best overall???
Too expensive
This is awesome
The Withthings watch would be a definate buy if it did not have that branding on the watch.
If I bought the discounted garmin epix 2 (last years model) , should I still get the venu3 for sleep tracking? Coz I have serious sleeping problems(was diagnosed of sleep apnea) still need to go checked in the hospital for a night, or shall I get aw 9? I’m iOS user…
Expensive
Some of these watches are not friendly for left-handed users who mostly wear our watches on the right wrist. Especially those like the Withings Scanwatch.
Is there a smart watch that has NO FITNESS stuff? I just want a big face and big battery Spotify machine on my wrist.
what is good for good battery life?
actually garmin instinct 2 crossover hybrid watch does have built in gps.
Mike Thanks for your wonderfully informed videos.. Garmin Venu 3 is not having ECG feature enabled in Bharat (India) hence I am inclined towards Gallaxy watch 4 or 6 Vs Fitbit Sense 2 . Request your thoughts on this. My requirement is good GPS tracking, HR Accuracy, ECG to be inbuilt (basically will be used for day to day + Running + Cycling
Venu 3 for sure, for the win!
Galaxy watch 6 classic 47mm 🔥
Samsung Knight here, but the battery on their watches are atrocious. Suunto or Huawei GT for me.
Great upload and a great Irish name Michael O'Brien 👊🏼🇮🇪👊🏼
Hey Mike, can you use galaxy watch with iphone?
No
I have Huawei watch GT3 Pro and I use it mainly for fitness tracking. Biggest issues are large size since my wrist is small and notifications don't work well. Also rotatable crown is mostly useless and on the way. I think venu 3 would be also best for me.
Hey! Strictly non-samsung Android user here!!! So, thank you, Sir!!! 😀
Appreciated
You need to review XReal Air 2 Pro. They are the future!
What it have to do with watches?
Any rumors about Huawei watch gt 4 pro?
he doenst even want to mention Huawei...what a honest review
@@havencat9337smartwatches... thats the talk here about 😅
What is happening???.....did all youtubers make a pact to not make videos on the pixel watch 2? It looks like they're only mentioning them in talking about other watches. You have made quite a few videos on the galaxy watches, fitbit and garmin in the past couple of months. Where is the pixel watch 2 review?
Personally, I've been waiting on Mike and Marques' videos to decide on whether or not this is a good purchase but there are no in depth reviews on either channels about it.
Right?! I've been waiting for MKBHD to make one but I haven found much on the pixel watch :(
xiaomi smart watch pro 2 ???
Where is Suunto on the list??
How to find the first watch
These are all watches that you have to pair with a phone. I have a Kospet Optimus and it is a watch and full android phone in one. Why is this category so ignored?
I just bought a Gamin Venu 3… and it would be perfect if it didn’t add 40 steps every time I washed my hands!! How anybody puts up with that is beyond me
I have series 9
I don’t even use it because I don’t train
Nor I need to track my sleep
It costed me 500$
Bardzo dobry jest też Smartwatch meski sportowy Active x ;) Posiada on wiele przydatnych funkcji, jest prosty w obsłudze, a do tego można go kupić w atrakcyjnej cenie
You need to chapter videos like this so people can scroll and see what item you are talking about!
One fundamental issue is battery. Having to charge the watch everydays or every two days is a no go. Batteries should last at least a week before being considered seriously.
Fitbit has improved a lot but i wont buy it until they remove the premium garbage
what's with the premium stuff?
I stopped using FitBit solely because of their lack of tech support. Their forums are rife with various complaints about issues, none ever get fixed. I used to have FitBits for years, one would die, I would go to the next, each time these problems were reported months prior.
WOW I really wish you would mention the price. So many watches you mention I look up and see that they are 250-400 dollars and it is a waste of time for me.
One thing I HATE in the smart watches I have tried is they won't let you uninstal the 'Health Apps' I 100% don't want that in a watch.
I wish Google would give you everything, even if you didn't purchase Fitbit Premium, if you owned a Google Pixel phone to try and tempt people.
lol huawei was not even mentioned, but it is dominant for premium smartwatches
don’t get the pixel 2 because of the price. i have it but got it for free. not worth the price.
Huawei gt4
I have the watch6 classic 47mm in Silver.
If you are looking to buy smartwatch and you are on android, get a Galaxy Watch.
My old Galaxy Watch 2 died after 4 years. Battery drains in 3 hoursnwith BT off, Airplane, DnD and Night Modes on. Time to upgrade.
no amazfit?
Pixel Watch 2 and Charge 6
