When I watched this video earlier I found it to be thoroughly depressing. Thurston still staggering through showing no remorse for any of the people he's hurt combined with the fact that Colleen's standard disaffected act makes her appear to have no clue as to why this could potentially be a controversial interview was kind of painful to sit through. A few hours later though and I've reconsidered. Once you get past the initial points there are two positive things of note : He's actually giving her really good advice. He's not demonstrating survival bias, and he's still staying true to the ethos of his life's work. Yes, it's a wasted opportunity that she didn't interview the rest of the band but once he realized the situation he was in, I'll be damned if he didn't turn it around in his own unique way. I'm sure that others will disagree because of so many obvious points, and I respect the opinion of those of you who still can't see anything positive in this. I was kind of surprised that I had done so myself.

Thurston loves the smell of his own farts, one time he locked himself in a wardrobe roadcase when he had these just awful falafel and tofu bologna farts, just total gaggers and he stayed in there for about 3 hours just sniffing till he was empty. He claimed that they gave him most of his creativity and the worse the smell the better the ideas.
