''someone is safe by that[internet]'' - you are damn right. I living in Poland, Eastern Europe where city (under 100 000 citizens) don't have any good theatre, cinema, swimming pool or any other interesting cultural events.
Thurston, even though you and Miss Kim are divorced, you are nominated to play Mr. Howell on a new Gilligan's Island filmed on Padre Island here in Texas.
J.G. Junior truthfully..love nothing more than drunk coked up smoked out metalhead interviews like when mtv allowed you to be plastered on live tv...love it...its nice however to have a well put together art rocker have aged..appropriately? suppose my point is there’s a lane for everyone. this is his.
band names did become brand names & logos. Band interviews & promo turns out to be a total embarrassment. The interviewer plays up to the "artist" the aritst loves to hear themselves sound so ideal & ahead. It's justa variant form of a salespitch. Like when SY claimed siging to a major allowed them to stay together as a band. Meanwhile tons of bands never get signed & continue to exist as a band & put out way more interesting records.
I wonder if Thurston Moore ever gets tired of being interviewed by 30 something post-hipster dudes wearing plaid shirts with neat beards and tortoise rim glasses
@@danielstoddart I’ve listened to that song millions of times, mate. You mean the “back to the cross” bit? So what? What has a random word in a song to do with TM wearing a cross over his shirt? What are you talking about?
@@danielstoddart You didn’t tell anything. You only said “listen to a song that contains the word ‘cross’”. By the way there is a SY song (much better than Sugar Kane) called White Cross. Why didn’t you reference that one? And there’s also “‘Cross the Breeze”! Hahaha.
@@ismaelbelda1 Sure, those other songs work, too. The only point I was making is that it's obvious that Thurston likes that word, he uses it a lot in the songs he's written. I don't think there's any deep meaning to it.
Always love Thurstons interviews
Thurston is slowly transforming into Dave Mustaine
on point
I was thinking more like Mickey ROurke lol
Dammit! I was just about to say the same thing. Lol
Now that you mention it.... I have never seen them both in the same place, together, at the same time!
Yeah he's sort of a D.M.'s /Jimmy Carter lovechild
He hasn't grown a beard. He gets my vote.
The earth the gospel the church. Thurston has been hipping and hopping with a indie guitar swing & rock & roll concieness since year punk broke.
Loved his narration in Nat Geo's Hard Time TV show. His voice is amazing.
i've never seen him interviewed, thanks !

I don't think that releasing dozens of videos at the same time is a very good idea

Guy has been playing the same song for nearly 40 years now ...bad moon rising again and again...
Listen harder.
Except in ten different tunings and complete different song structures...hmmm
wut
Bad moon rising was an album not a song
@@uncooldispatch5438 no shit...and they played that same record forever...no need to lecture me, I played with them all the time way way back....
He's insufferable. good lord.
I like Thurston's music and especially 80s SY stuff, but man he sounds so pretentious and generally comes off as an elitist jerk.
s1ayd not sure what you're talking about. Thurston comes off as a pretty humble person.
s1ayd said the guy with a monocle on his avatar.
Apparently you're a douche.
Let me guess: Trump supporter??

Listen to the Sonic Youth song, "Sugar Kane."
