It is so weird and typical that after all these years people want to praise BFV but at the time it was out it was getting trashed just like BF 2042 is now.
@@sooprfrek12 I kept playing despite the enemies being invisible, because it was that fun. Even unfair. 2042's player count is down 99%, and I'm part of the 99%. It's not remotely the same. Then, I realized, I could go play BFV, and have access to like 30, with way more customization, AND stab people in bayonet charges.
I don't really praise bf5. I paid full price for a game which gave me about 1/2 the content of bf1 and 1/4th the content of bf4. Also, just because "oh random bullet deviation isn't a thing anymore" (heads up, it still technically is) and it's better than 2042, does not mean the game is without flaw. @B R E A D that's not true and you know it. There were quite a few battlefield games that had perfectly stable Launches Examples, bf1942, bf1943, bf hardline (yes, it was perfectly playable from day one), and bf1 is kind of the poster child for good launches (tho many people claim that the beta and alpha was buggy, the initial release was just fine)
What mode are you selecting? I just bought the game a couple days ago, SILK and the HC one in the community finder is the only way I've been able to get a game(in the AU region), all the diff modes I tried to queue up for just put me into a empty room.
@@wyn2208 Always use the server browser and never the regular game finder thing, during peak hours there's a few conquest servers full. All other modes are dead in Aus unfortunately. @@ffffffelipe It was on sale just recently for $12 about…but it always goes on sale…I’m still mad that titanfall 2 is being attacked that’s my go to steam mp shooter.
People gave it a second chance when the Pacific DLC dropped. The player count raised significantly, I remember playing it for the whole week straight. Then dice messed up again with the new TTK patch with which the weapons became peanutshooters. Once you gave them chance, they messed up again. I lost all hope.
As a Medic main in most Battlefield games and especially 5, I just feel inclined to save my teammates whenever I can with health and revs. Yet, in 2042, I don't feel motivated to do so, especially when doing anything else is more rewarding and stimulating. Reviving a whole team in Lockers or Underground is pure neuron activation, but 2042 just doesn't have that same impact for me. I almost always run Sundance with a rocket launcher.
I'm pretty sure that's due to the specialists system. The integration with that system is so that you can feel unique and special which inadvertently made players want to have their moment and do more "selfish" stuff like getting kills and pulling off stunts. But with past BFs you're literally a no-name soldier fighting along side other no-name soldiers which would make people more inclined to help eachother.
Bro locker revives is the stuff, I remember one time 2 140's wiped our entire push and they turned away for 7 seconds and revived all 17 teammates back to full heath. The enemy didn't see it coming and we managed to push past c
Honestly the actual gameplay is GREAT. The gunplay, the movement, the build mechanics, the actual visuals. The customization though. It's just so weird seeing Germans in the pacific and Japanese on the western front because of the stupid 'hero' characters you can buy, it breaks the immersion. Imagine if the Eastern Front actually got released and you'd have Tom Cruise running around with the Soviets. Amazing game, but so god damned mismanaged since the beginning.
While there were cases of people from Japan or Korea fighting on the western front, it really should be kept as an absolute easter egg the odd round maybe
Honestly I think that most people do t know the difference between WW1 and WW2 in the UK for instance asking people my age about WW2 is a joke. I asked a guy what were the 3 forces associated with allies and axis Allies, he got: UK... AND THATS IT AXis he said: Russia? And Germany ... So the thing is with historical accuracy it really doesn't matter unless people point it out. For me I still think a lot of people had a problem with women in the game in general and pivoted toward "100% historical accuracy is paramount to any historical game"
@@jordondeannon5501 The "Axis" thing is btw a part of the misconceptions people have. The pact that united nazi controlled Germany, Italy & Japan was the "Anti-Comintern Pact" with the Comintern being the Communist-International. That being said I agree.
This was a great review, definitely considering redownloading the game now. Thanks man. One suggestion would be to use BF2042 gameplay when you discuss certain points for reference.
You forgot to mention a really cool mechanic. When you jump off a balcony or something high as soon as you’re landing press crouch and you will roll, not slide, and this wont take you damage and also made running away so dynamic mixed with all the other moving mechanics. The best out of all these AAA shooters.
@@Cristian-g dude what are *YOU* talking about, a simple youtube search dissolves your argument... I literally just wrote BF5 roll mechanic and this came up th-cam.com/video/73jWAZTqO-s/w-d-xo.html
The POV of being revived in the midst of absolute chaos with shit flying everywhere while narrowly escaping is one of the best feelings in the game. I can only owe the same experience to other players and team mates so they can experience it too.
if you jumb a hill down or go out of an building threw the window, you can press space and your soldier does an roll. The movement in BF5 is just amnazing.
I think something that BFV also did great is it feels like you’re actually in a war. Especially with breakthrough it’s massive battles and teamwork. Vehicles are strong, but they play the role of assisting instead of dominating.
I very much enjoy bfv despite how it launched. I think the campaign and the lack of content really hurt it. Being developed by ea is automatically a turn off for some people. I believe that some of the complaints that people had were blown out of per portion. The only real complaint that i still have is about the cosmetics. With most of the uniforms making no sense, and wouldn’t work in real life. Besides that i am happy with it in its current state.
I bought Battlefield V one year after it was released. I find it to be a very polished game. It's amazing to think that the best way to enjoy a triple A multiplayer experience is to forget about the game for about a year. Battlefield V is actually quiet good now!
The best way is to only buy when it's dirt cheap after all the content updates and bug fixes have come out. Buying day one or pre-ordering is paying top dollar to be a beta tester of an unfinished product.
I really needed the encouragement you added towards the end of the video. I was expecting it to be an add read but no it was totally genuine. It really hits different when you are not expecting it. I usually watch youtube content to distract my self from my own problems and self doubt. You honestly did make me feel better with what you said thanks for the encouragement. When i break free of it i'll be sure to pass on that same hope and encouragement you gave me today.
In a similar vein to BFV, I recommend a video on Star Wars Battlefront II. Its launch was bad, but now the game is genuinely a great arcade shooter that all should hear about! Is the gameplay 100% balanced? No lol. But is it crazy fun? Absolutely. EDIT: assuming you’re playing on console, since the PC version is barely in a playable state due to some game-wide glitch/hack
You should have a look at what's been happening with glitches making the game unplayable lately. Modders have had to create custom servers to solve this. However, modders are now adding all the content that dice left out since development suddenly stopped last year. It's becoming a real community game like the original battlefront 2 by gamespy. It's both a shame and exciting that battlefront 2 will only be kept alive through 100% modding now. No bf3 might be a blessing in disguise looking at battlefield 2042.
Amazing video. don't have anything to say cause this was so comprehensive. I absolutely love B1 and B5 and it's so delighting to see that their servers are shockingly busy on pc (and probably other platforms). Also the moment you talked about positivity I stopped myself from crying, that's what I needed to hear. Thanks man.
Battlefield 1 is a risky move and courageous move by DICE and the last game i consider the most finished Battlefield. Exploring new theater of war to be used for the game. The animation, graphic and storyline is just amazing. having actual dirt on your weapon in trench..really makes you feel in a war..specifically in WW1. But Battlefield V has no WW2 feel to it. Not t mention the issue and lack of content. Therefore, BF1 is the last GOOD/Great Battlefield game. I don't think DICE can do the same in the near future since EA loved money so much that they don't want DICE to explore more. Instead follow their direction.
I just started on series s and it's fun learning. Last night I spent a whole match on a hill just revive and healing. I didn't intend on it but I was the only medic in the area. Felt rewarding. Plus I got points which feels good too.
Such a deal breaker for me. People always applaud the environment/maps and immersion in bf1 but I don’t understand how you can enjoy that when the core gameplay loop is so unrewarding sometimes
@@TheCrackedProject could you explain how someone would get skilled at controlling a gun with a limp barrel? Because that’s literally what the system is in bf1. Bullets DO NOT go where your reticle is aiming. They spread out in a cone, randomly.
Nice video. I've been playing Battlefield V since 2018, and I've enjoyed every minute of it. I played some Battlefield V again, a couple of days ago, and the PS4 servers still seem to be very populated. This makes me very happy, as I might be holding off on Battlefield 2042.
I too am playing BF1 and V. I never played them when they came out after playing a bucket load of BC2, BF3 and BF4. I'm warming up to them the more that I play them. I have bought 2042 as I got it half price, but have not played after the beta and the free 10 hours you get.
I disagree about the elite pickups in bf1 being a good removal. All of my best memories in bf1 come from getting the heavy machine gun suit and going on a rampage in an underground control point where I could control the engagements. On map pickups encourage map exploration, map control, and provide new gameplay experiences.
Imo seeing the katana and flamethrower in V is a way to show that battle pickups are just fine, you can stack a couple of kills in a fun way without the safe blanket of the elite's armour
I fully agree, Dice had elites in a good position when they nerfed the health regeneration of elites. This left most of the elites needing a good team to work well. They work best when they are given health and ammo and are used to push or hold a choke point. Katana and BFV flamethrower are definitely fun but Katana is on another level.
I’ve been re playing BFV and it’s been the best gaming experience I’ve had in a while, so many epic moments and intense games. If you haven’t already I suggest playing grand operations for a better war experience
I have been playing BFV and just purchased BF1 for PC. Although there is not that many people playing it right now hopefully there is a come back. These games graphics and mechanics were are so good compared to the new releases.
I played BF5 for the first time in the lead up to 2042 and thought man this game is pretty good, if 2042 can build on this it will be great. turns out 2042 started from scratch and DICE didn't even finish the foundation lol
Love it: "People were actually helping each other out." 6:20 Aside from the great graphics & audio that give a real nice drama effect, this feature makes you feel connected with the other players, makes you feel that you are actually part of a team and that your actions can influence the faith of the match; more so than just shooting and staking kills.
Id love to see the next bf game take inspiration from games like hell let loose, insurgency, and rising storm 2, in terms of class and team structure. Expand on the old 4 class system by creating more classes that are more specialized.
Unfortunately they already alluded to future BF titles being based on hero shooters going forward, franchise is probably done for, if I were optimistic I'd say maybe Medal of Honor would return and take over but let's be honest that ain't happening.
I’m all honesty hell let loose is what bfv could have been. If they expand on it and make future games like it keeping it as is it will be the next big thing on the market. They made customization the way it should be authentic gear and it’s achieved by just playing the classes. Teamwork is key and takes away from the I can play solo aspect. It makes you think
After absolutely loving BF1, I got around to playing BFV in 2021. Overall, I enjoyed my time with 1 a fair bit more, but there was a lot to love about V (especially the revive system), and I definitely had a great time with the game
BFV is a great game. It's a shame it didn't get the love it deserved (imo) from the players and the developers. If they hadn't pulled the plug on it prematurely I'm sure it would've been one of the best Battlefields. Great video! I might just have to hop back on it since numbers seem to be rising again.
No they netcode is still trash and BF V was not good at all. and Spoiled with Hackers even after long time , So yeah that is an issue when somebody snipes you from a building one point of capture further with an smg gun :)
I agree, I still play both BFV and BF1 and enjoy them both equally. Sad that so many jumped on the hate bandwagon and didn't even give the game a chance.
Jeez, man, thank you for that message of positivity! Right now I feel like I am at an absolute bottom and getting that nice message out of nowhere really did make my day :D
What a great review. You explained the games early issues, pro's and con's perfectly. This is a fantastic game, and it seems many BF fans, are just starting to realize this now
The Stuka siren remains one of my fav things in this game, to this day when I hear the siren in game I have to quickly check what side I’m on to check whether I’m safe or to run. It’s a feature they didn’t necessarily have to add but the game is a lot better for it
I absolutely adore this game. I really wish it was received better so there would have been more of a reason to add content. We're missing the entire Eastern Front.
BF V had great gameplay ideas but execution of them is just awful. Especially interested in your example, as you can do all those things in BF1 but with more reliable revive system.
This game is amazing and I don't know why people think this game failed. From what I heard the Devs abandoned the game to move on so it didn't fail. How can this be a fail the graphics are incredible. Ray tracing is beautifully done. The physics are awesome and the destruction was just the best I have ever seen. The whole battlefield feel is completely what battlefield truly is. 2042 has failed because of the path they have chosen for the game.
You are ignorant about battlefield v, with the TTK changes and wokism destroying its reputation at first with a lack of content. As 2019 came, the game was in a terrible state, with Chapter 4 they promised a North African Conquest map and it was delayed for months. The devs had to finally apologize, as the pacific was added and wake was added, it seemed it was rising but the TTK and the data mines showed that FRA, SOV and ITA factions and Sicily maps. And Battlefield V was objectively, and literally a failure due to it getting Chapter 6 when 10 were planned, Soviets were leaked and hinted by the devs, even a Soviet machine gun was ready to release. This game is not amazing, I and most of us can’t respect this when the devs lied, delayed and went radio silent multiple times, and when it was finally rising they abandoned it and destroyed the Battlefield reputation, we had literal petitions being signed by hundreds of thousands to keep this and Battlefront 2 going
The game was handled terribly at launch. Bad map design and pool, unrealistic currency requirement and system, devs not listening to the community at all especially with the TTK changes and then finally the abandonment
@@manavbhalla2861 Sounds familiar... Could it be like bf3? Or maybe bf4? 🤔 No, that's not it. Which Battlefield game launched terribly and people kept saying it was going to die: and then a few months later was patched and fixed, and now it is revered as a great bf game?
@@ricoxkiller Well.. that was BF4. But it wasn’t abandoned, the DLCs were not delayed. And the map design was much better. DICE LA did more than enough to make it a great game towards the end.. BFV was just abandoned and left incomplete. Even the UI is still terribly glitchy and unacceptable for a AAA game.
@@blooddixmond But everything u say and the way you fee about it is because of false promises and stuff thats missing/wrong. But the game itself is really good as it is today if we just forget about the marketing, the launch and everything that might have been, but never got into the game.
I deleted 2042 today. The graphics and mechanics were alright, what REALLY did it for me was the lack of content. Because there's no class system, there's no freedom to progress through weapon types in the order you want it. You want to be a machine gunner? Tough, the only other MG unlocks at *LEVEL 45*, so have fun until then. And everything else, what am I supposed to do? Run around, suppress a few enemies and then get shot by a Nightbird? It's really unbalanced, how the teams, weapons and vehicles are set up. Go back 2 years ago, I knew I would love BFV. Sure, it was a BIG download, but the war stories you could play whilst it was downloading absolutely captivated me. The lighting, the sounds, the weapons, everything. The lighting was bright, but not like BFV. It conveyed a sense of slight normality and realism amidst a massive warzone, DICE conveyed that perfectly. The voice acting too. The constant screaming of "I'M HIT!", or "SANITÄTER!" made me feel like I was just a small piece that was part of something bigger, not a bloody action hero running around with a machine gun and Recoilless M5. Lastly, the teamwork is on-par. Unlike 2042, every single one of your teammates have something that you don't have, E.G you can't do the jobs of all the specialists by yourself. Therefore, it forces that kind of tactical thinking. "If I revive my support teammate, they can provide me with suppressing fire", or "If I spot that enemy, my teammates can push that position". Anyways, that's my rant over with. Gonna reinstall BFV tomorrow, goodnight.
It’s crazy how everyone hated this game when it first came out I’ve been playing battlefield since 1942 on to bad company, bf3, 4, 1, 5 and it is finally getting its praise battlefield five and I couldn’t agree with you more on every single one of those games I just named you were able to run around solo infantry and rack up kills, that would have to be my biggest complaint about battlefield 2042 every time I kill someone I’m being shot at by four or five people within seconds I mean between that and the jet flying mechanics I just don’t understand it why make the game more like fucking call of duty it’s battlefield the true battlefield fans play because we want to play a Battlefield game not a game focused on specialist flashy camo‘s and lame ass quotes and don’t get me started how every map is just a open fucking field and when you do enter buildings They’re completely fucking empty but I still have hope and maybe that’s just me being a lifelong battle field player but I’m praying 2042 will get fixed
Thank you for that message around the 18 minute mark, I did not know I needed that. Also this is a great video as well, I appreciate you being able to reevaluate your opinion from before, it’s inspired me to reinstall the game and give it a second chance. I was going to make a comment about the 18 minute market to thank him for the positive message that I am sure people will appreciate. Also thank you got thanking him about the nice message he did 👍
I’m so happy somebody is finally giving this game the praise it deserves it’s by all means no a perfect game but it’s so much more than what most people give it credit for.
Mechanically, this is the best bf game ever created imo. It just needed another year or support and it could have gone down as one of the best bf games
Resubscribed. The review Battlefield V always deserved. Medic in BFV, reviving people is one of the most cathartic, epic things in any battlefield game. Smoking, running out, grabbing the person and reviving them, sometimes under gunfire, it's amazing.
Dude, first time catching your content and gotta say - this was excellent. Your coverage, explanations, points, video capture - all perfect. I’ve felt this exact way about BFV since I picked it up. Your message of hope was super kind and level man, thanks for that. We need more of it. Keep at it. I have liked and subscribed my man. 🤘🏼
As a common medic player I can say that kills go out the window and keeping the momentum becomes the key. And a good mention to all the players who use the ‘Thank you’ line, keeps the Chivalry in the game.
The thing that I liked was that you can buy rewards from previous "battle passes" and you don't even have to buy them with the special currency, you can get them with the rewards currency you get by playing. As someone who moved from Xbox to PC and had to restart all over.
7:20 I'm glad someone else values the first-person revive setup. It makes for some great shots when a soldier is helping you up in the midst of explosions and gunfire. An excellent touch that makes the flow feel more natural and cinematic.
I remember at launch the medic guns were basically useless at all but the closest of engagements. I was so happy when they buffed the smgs in BF5. The maps work really well with short range/high fire rate weapons (I mainly use the Suomi and Tommy Gun) and it is super rewarding to wait for the assault guys to clear a lot of the enemies and then swoop in for the final kills then popping the revives. I think dice did a great job balancing the guns and encouraging players to choose medic
Excellent video. BF5 was my first BF game, when it was offered on PSPlus. I then got 4 and now I am grinding 1. I love that the best team is the one that wins. I prefer good cooperative play in games, whether PVP or PVE. DICE could keep printing money if they just kept updating this formula with new settings/time periods.
Ghost capping that one point in Arras, in the field of wheat, by just camouflaging yourself among the shrubbery, is one of my most treasured memories in this game. laying there while 5+ bozos with tank support are frantically looking for you, great fun!
I am 42, I am playing bfv for the last 6 months. Its an awesome game. I have watch release reviews videos and I dont understand all the drama around it. Its a game... I love the pacific war, really cool. But yes more battles theme would have been a great add to the game. Medic is a special class... You need to be with the guys, up front... You need to attack, conter attack and heal. Best class in my opinion. Liked & subbed
Still playing this with plenty others, haven't even tried 2042. This one is still epic. It's a shame that they've abandoned it. My favorite thing is taking out tanks like you did. And when squads are working together, it's a beautiful experience. Storming objectives or saving teammates with a smoke screen cover. Sniping enemies from afar is satisfying. Tanks are a force to be reckoned with if played right. Building destruction. So much is done right. I dont miss the special vehicles from bf1 at all. I only play conquest btw.
i started my battlfield experience with 5, tbh i knew nothing about it or its negative reviews, and despite being in australia and basically having no servers under 100ping i got up to 80 hours, i then moved to 2042, i got 40 hours out of that and moved back to v and i still love it
The footsteps on bfV was great at letting you know where the enemy was. 2042 the sound is there but you can't differentiate or even tell where it's coming from.
Realized also that the more grounded in reality the game is, the more you feel it and see it. Got amazed when I returned, seeing all the iconic vehicles and weapons, being in awesome environments that feels real. Never thought I would say it, but bf5 is actually good today.
I got BFV in 2021 after having played BF1 solidly for over 2 years (having also been late to the party and getting it in 2018). BFV never really clicked with me the way BF1 did, although I attribute that partly to my particular interest in WWI history. I just reinstalled it though and am actually having a great time with it. I both missed all the launch controversy, and totally ignored 2042 when it launched, so didn't realize there was a correlation between players abandoning that and going back to V. It does indeed seem to have a very healthy player base, and while being slaughtered in dogfights by pilots who've presumably been playing since launch can get annoying (*sigh* I miss my Sopwith Camel), there's definitely a good amount of squad and team support and interplay going on. Plan to stick with it now and see if I can polish up my skills so I can make the most of it. I do miss the Elite kits from BF1 though! Great vid btw, nicely presented, points well made and justified. First time I've come across your channel but I'm subbed now.
To me this is one of the best battle field game in my opinion. I’m one of those crazy medics, some of my best bf moments have been when I’m trying to keep a whole makeshift squad alive as were defending a point while outnumbered
This is a fun game. I'm glad it got a second chance when it was handed out for free as a PS+ game. Seeing a bunch of new players giving all they have to do their part is amazing. Like when you get killed by a tank and lay on the ground waiting for a revive and 10 teammates rush the tank with everything they got. It's just beautiful.
thank you for not being toxic to this game in the video (unlike some people still are) I really liked the game and finally hearing good things about BFV is really nice.
I literally have no idea what Dice was thinking with 2042. All we wanted was BFV but with a modern-futuristic setting and we would be happy. Instead they wanted to reinvented the wheel and removed and tweaked features (i.e movement and classes) from past games that were widely positive for the franchise.
BFV had so much more potential and planned content we never got. Hell, there was references to the M1903A3 Springfield and Type 44 Arisaka coming into the game.

Outside of peak hours it's normally only 1 conquest server populated. If you're from WA there a HEAPS of Singapore servers that will give you the same 60ish ping you get to Sydney, a lot more cheaters on the Singapore servers though.
It never really died. It's been at a steady flow for awhile now after the Pacific update
@@Gr00t ah ok thanks, when you said you could find heaps of games wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something... sadly I'm in NZ where Singapore servers are usually in the 130-150 range.
I've been saying this since mid 2019 but battlefield 5 genuinely is a great game people didn't get give it a proper chance after the awful launch,The gunplay and movement is the best in the entire series and the maps were great as well.If your disappointed with battlefield 2042 I emplore you to give battlefield 5 another chance
I was so hyped for 2042 because I finally have a decent pc to play it and I was out of the franchise since BF4 and boy was I dissapointed. I will definitely give BF V a chance when it's on sale
legit just never got the love it deserved because of a shitty reveal trailer
@@ffffffelipe It was on sale just recently for $12 about…but it always goes on sale…I’m still mad that titanfall 2 is being attacked that’s my go to steam mp shooter.
They was also going into the right way when they dropped the Pacific dlc But guess what they stopped and scrapped more the 50 items and weapons
Reviving 3+ teammates its so satisfying, also is so cool to see a bunch of downed teammates getting revived by a legion of medics.
Bro locker revives is the stuff, I remember one time 2 140's wiped our entire push and they turned away for 7 seconds and revived all 17 teammates back to full heath. The enemy didn't see it coming and we managed to push past c

@@drcabbageface took the words right out of my mouth, fight there.
Just as 2042. But still EA interfered didn't gave the time
While there were cases of people from Japan or Korea fighting on the western front, it really should be kept as an absolute easter egg the odd round maybe
Honestly I think that most people do t know the difference between WW1 and WW2
in the UK for instance asking people my age about WW2 is a joke.
I asked a guy what were the 3 forces associated with allies and axis
Allies, he got: UK... AND THATS IT
AXis he said: Russia? And Germany ...
So the thing is with historical accuracy it really doesn't matter unless people point it out. For me I still think a lot of people had a problem with women in the game in general and pivoted toward "100% historical accuracy is paramount to any historical game"
@@jordondeannon5501 The "Axis" thing is btw a part of the misconceptions people have. The pact that united nazi controlled Germany, Italy & Japan was the "Anti-Comintern Pact" with the Comintern being the Communist-International. That being said I agree.
@@Argacyan right, now, ask yourself how many people that play FPS games would know a morsel of the information you have on history.

I almost uninstalled it.
Glad i didnt.
I just finished installing the game now

Have it on PS4 like 2042 I stopped playing a month after release. Just re-downloaded it and man this game is butterly smooth and fun.
Yeah I admit I'm a fool, just reinstalled it after a few years and after trying to love bf2042 and I'm in love again.
You forgot to mention a really cool mechanic. When you jump off a balcony or something high as soon as you’re landing press crouch and you will roll, not slide, and this wont take you damage and also made running away so dynamic mixed with all the other moving mechanics. The best out of all these AAA shooters.
this wasn't an original mechanic in the base game, and was brought through updates, a lot of people don't know about it because of that.
@@Cristian-g no, you couldn't do a roll since day one and that's facts.

The fact they make you buy historically accurate uniforms is cringe....
@@user-op8fg3ny3j makes every bfv fan cry
Awesome

Thanks for the words of positivity towards the end of the video! Refreshing and you didn't have to do it, but you did, and it's appreciated!
I remember getting a wex on that one close quarters fortress map and absolutely annihilating an enemy team that just pushed the hell out of our spawn

Aside from the great graphics & audio that give a real nice drama effect, this feature makes you feel connected with the other players, makes you feel that you are actually part of a team and that your actions can influence the faith of the match; more so than just shooting and staking kills.
Also bring platoon's back .
Lmao if you really think that after this downfall of an developer there will be another game youre just gullible

Resubscribed. The review Battlefield V always deserved. Medic in BFV, reviving people is one of the most cathartic, epic things in any battlefield game. Smoking, running out, grabbing the person and reviving them, sometimes under gunfire, it's amazing.

As a common medic player I can say that kills go out the window and keeping the momentum becomes the key. And a good mention to all the players who use the ‘Thank you’ line, keeps the Chivalry in the game.
@ZooyZoé That’s the Spirit! Keep up the good work mate
Not a lot of people talk about it but the kill noise is just so satisfying and it makes you want to keep getting more. Especially getting headshots
The thing that I liked was that you can buy rewards from previous "battle passes" and you don't even have to buy them with the special currency, you can get them with the rewards currency you get by playing.

I'm glad someone else values the first-person revive setup.
A terrific video that touches all the points I’ve felt for years now especially in regards to the gunplay. Subscribed. Keep up the good work sir.

"dice wants to start over with every game it makes". THANK YOU. THANK YOU. THANK. YOU!!

This is THE video to go to if you're researching whether to buy BFV or not, all the information is clearly presented and structured and talks about stuff others barely mention. It convinced me to get the definitive edition on sale at least
After playing BF2042 for 2 weeks, I abandoned it, bought BF5 4 weeks ago and am glad I did so. It took a week to get used to it but now I cant stop playing. The details in this game are just amazing. The gameplay is one of the best. Great video.
Thanks for those kind words. I recall needed them
Hello, Lord Tonald. A pleasure to hear your sensuous voice again.
Super powerful message snuck in there at the end. Thank you for that.
thank you for not being toxic to this game in the video (unlike some people still are) I really liked the game and finally hearing good things about BFV is really nice.
I literally have no idea what Dice was thinking with 2042. All we wanted was BFV but with a modern-futuristic setting and we would be happy. Instead they wanted to reinvented the wheel and removed and tweaked features (i.e movement and classes) from past games that were widely positive for the franchise.
Finally where you been
BFV had so much more potential and planned content we never got. Hell, there was references to the M1903A3 Springfield and Type 44 Arisaka coming into the game.
