Hahaha every time Cash references the pod coffee makers I just can’t help having a giggle. I haven’t ever had one myself because my espresso pot, French press and percolator make fantastic coffee. I think I’m getting addicted to watching these videos while drinking a cup lol.
I was as blown away and speechless as Cash was at the sighted of that lofted penthouse! I’m rarely at a loss for words but this one of the few times in life your jaw drops on seeing such a beautiful place, its a Long Island gem and the only thing that would detain me from moving in there is the price because I already know if I have to ask, I can’t afford it!
That was the biggest issue for me. I don’t really care about in house laundry, as long as it’s in the building, but having to leave my bedroom & basically go to the main area of the house to shower would be a pain, especially with such a nice bedroom up there.

I’m very impressed with LIC , and how it’s blossomed. Nothing but A’s for the building , amenities, and apt. If I was twenty yrs younger and starting out , this would be my starting point. 2 Fl Loft is fabulous! Brilliant layout and space sizes. All about the amenities! Definitely worth the price. It’ll rent quickly in that gorgeous hood!
The neighborhood touring game is strong in this video. Nice work Cash. I laughed more than once! Given all the amenities in the building its newness, I am very surprised that the laundry isn't in the unit itself. That's a miss.
Mixed response for me: bedroom should have a full bath. The well or shaft of light and air is nice BUT...I think of how there could be a floor in there and at least one more room added to the apartment. There's a lot of space to heat and cool but that isn't being used. Not quite the apartment for me but someone is going to love living there.
@@LibbyRal Great observation! One thing that REALLY bothers me is being in a room with an echo. Even when furnished that apartment may still have the sound reverberating. Not for me! I'm working toward minimalism but one of the drawbacks of that lifestyle is living spaces with so little in them that there's an echo. I may have to keep some things just to absorb sound!
I think for that price there should be 2 full baths and the closets are pretty small. Personally hate open staircases that you could slip between, especially kids/pets. Also, the subway is in front of the building as well as at the back which means you'll hear the trains while on the balcony or when using outdoor areas. Pity anyone taking an apt. at the front of the building and having commuters look into your apt. when blinds are open. It does make your train ride more interesting for sure.
apartment was flawless outside of the downstairs being a full bath and then the upstairs half, seems it should be the other way around but thats just me.

The key to these places looking so spacious is they are staged with no clutter and small furniture. Cash goes in and starts adding L shape couch, entertainment center, shelves, larger table and so on! lol Love it! How does the use of the grills and patios work? Do the tenants have to reserve the use of those things or what?
Hmm... Okay now, Cash... Your boxing skills appear to be on point! This is lovely space with fantastic amenities! But, those stairs? And, no laundry within the apartment unit? Nuh-uh... Not for $5K/month. PS: I betcha they did add the medicine cabinet because they knew you were coming!
The building amenities are aimed for a younger crowd, as is the hike to the lofted bedroom. I was disappointed that there was only a half bath up there, and that there's relatively little closet space. The second bedroom is quite small, and the kitchen is short on upper cabinets. For $5,000/month you can still get a nice 2-bedroom apartment in Manhattan, though with fewer building amenities. This unit is more glamour than substance.
I absolutely love this loft apartment, the building amenities, and the neighborhood. Prior to getting hooked on your videos I would have been appalled at that rental amount but a year in I'm like "Wow, that's a steal!" 🤔🤦♀️🤷♀️🤣
Pretty nice... The 1/2 bath was really strange attached to a bedroom. I would have been better to fit a full bath and build a closet taking up a little bedroom space. For some reason the marble? back splash in the kitchen annoyed me. Not sure if they could have book matched it.

That place has a nice feel to it. You could install a living wall on that large wall in the living area. Magical street. The MG, no contest. And you've got the train, so it's OK that it'll be in the shop 90% of the time.

I live across the globe and I have no idea how I ended up here but I am glad. One thing that my father taught us is to always find a place with a great location that's near to transport, a hospital or a clinic, school, restaurants or supermarkets. For the place itself, a place with a big kitchen, rooms facing the sun and a good size bathroom. I am surprised how come there are really cheap places in New York where here the Cheapest 1 bedroom apartment is for 1k and its not even that great and is like 1h away from the city center. I think its time to move countries again. Great content.
Wow. Hands down this bld had the BEST roof, laundry, lounge area,, etc, of all the blds you have shown. The apt was lovely, but rather have my apt in one level. And the bathroom upstairs should have had a shower. Imagine having a nice bath, someone has to use the bathroom, so now they are forced to use your bathrm upstairs and you rather they didn't? Otherwise....LOVEEEEEEED IT.
Seems to have everything you need including easy access to transportation and groceries. It's also a great apt. with a workable kitchen. All the outdoor space both private and common is a real plus. I like it!
@@georgiasmith7615 well, where I live we have laundry in unit in all apartments, no matter how small, and flooding has never been a big issue, so I guess you don't have to worry about that too much.
One good thing about a laundromat over having your own one washer/dryer is that you can do a lot of laundry at once (machines available notwithstanding). You can do laundry once a month (or longer if you own more underwear and sheets) and forget about it.

I remember when they couldn't GIVE apartments away in LIC. Lol Really nice place. Those stairs, though. I'd need that railing to extend to the ceiling. I'd totally fear falling over the rail.
Beautiful apartment but it just made me realize my room is pretty big, I'm able to fit a queen bed, a large dresser, a small dresser, a night table, a small plastic filing cabinet, a hamper, a cd tower (why do I still hang on to that lol), 2 small doggie beds and in a small corner I have my boxes of jewelry making materials neatly stacked and I still have just enough room to do some cardio workouts . These videos made me realize that even though my home is on the smaller side it is very comfortable compared to big city apartments 🙂
I wouldn't consider it fully luxurious if I had to go to the basement to wash my clothes. That's a deal-breaker. Also, I think Cash deserves credit for making landlords and tenants alike realize 2 basic requirements: a sink sprayer, and a medicine cabinet.

Great double height apartment. Great amenities too. The roof deck is awesome. Good location too with several office buildings being built that area. I would work in the same area and only travel to Manhattan for fun.
You'll need an extra long swiffer to clean that upper window. So after the whole review. The half bathroom on the top floor is bad design. There is enough room upstairs wasted for the bedroom size for a full bath. The way the stairs float in the middle of the double height space is ridic. Who signed off on this apt design?

They should have added a shower to that half bath. You have to go all the way down stairs to take a shower. Awesome building.

Great double height apartment. Great amenities too. The roof deck is awesome. Good location too with several office buildings being built that area. I would work in the same area and only travel to Manhattan for fun.

You'll need an extra long swiffer to clean that upper window. So after the whole review. The half bathroom on the top floor is bad design. There is enough room upstairs wasted for the bedroom size for a full bath. The way the stairs float in the middle of the double height space is ridic. Who signed off on this apt design?
